1 O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture? Pourquoi, ô Dieu, [nous] as-tu rejetés pour toujours, [et] ta colère fume-t-elle contre le troupeau de ta pâture ? Why, O God, hast thou cast off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture? ¿Por qué, oh Dios, nos has desechado para siempre?
¿Por qué se ha encendido tu furor contra las ovejas de tu prado?
2 Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. Souviens-toi de ton assemblée, que tu as acquise autrefois, que tu as rachetée pour être la portiona de ton héritageb, — de la montagne de Sion, où tu as habité. Remember thine assembly, which thou hast purchased of old, which thou hast redeemed to be the portion of thine inheritance, this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. Acuérdate de tu congregación, la que adquiriste desde tiempos antiguos,
La que redimiste para hacerla la tribu de tu herencia;

3 Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary. 13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. 14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. Secaste ríos impetuosos.

17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter. 18 Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Lord, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name. ✱ Souviens-toi de ceci, que l'ennemi a outragé l'Éternel ! et qu'un peuple insensé a méprisé ton nom. 19 O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever. Ne livre pas à la bête sauvage l'âme de ta tourterelle ; n'oublie pas à jamais la troupe de tes affligés. Give not up the soul of thy turtle-dove unto the wild beast; forget not the troop of thine afflicted for ever. No entregues a las fieras el alma de tu tórtola,

20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. Regarde à l'alliance ! 22 Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily. ✱ Lève-toi, ô Dieu ! plaide ta cause, souviens-toi des outrages que te fait tous les jours l'insensé. Rise up, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee all the day; Levántate, oh Dios, aboga tu causa;
Acuérdate de cómo el insensato te injuria cada día.
23 Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually. N'oublie pas la voix de tes adversaires : le tumulte de ceux qui s'élèvent contre toi monte continuellement.
