To the chief Musician, A Psalm and Song of David. Au chef de musique. Psaume de David. Cantique. To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David: a Song. Al músico principal. Salmo. Cántico de David.
1 Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed. Praise waiteth for thee in silence, O God, in Zion; and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. Ô toi qui écoutes la prière ! toute chair viendra à toi. O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. Tú oyes la oración;
A ti vendrá toda carne.
3 Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. ✱ Les iniquités ont prévalu sur moi ; nos transgressions, toi tu les pardonnerasa. Iniquities have prevailed against me: our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them. Las iniquidades prevalecen contra mí;
Mas nuestras rebeliones tú las perdonarás.
4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. Blessed is he whom thou choosest and causest to approach: he shall dwell in thy courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, of thy holy temple.
Para que habite en tus atrios;
Seremos saciados del bien de tu casa,
De tu santo templo.
5 By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea: Tu nous répondras par des choses terribles de justicec, ô Dieu de notre salut, toi qui es la confiance de tous les bouts de la terre, et des régions lointaines de la mer ! By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, thou confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the distant regions of the sea. ...
6 Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power: Toi qui as établi les montagnes par ta force, qui es ceint de puissance, Who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with power; Tú, el que afirma los montes con su poder,
Ceñido de valentía;
7 Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people. Who stilleth the raging of the seas, the raging of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples.
8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice. And they that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens; thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
9 Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. Tu as visité la terre, tu l'as abreuvée, tu l'enrichis abondamment : le ruisseau de Dieu est plein d'eau. Tu prépares lesf blés, quand tu l'as ainsi préparée. Thou hast visited the earth, thou hast watered it; thou greatly enrichest it: the river of God is full of water; thou providest their corn, when thou hast so prepared it: Visitas la tierra, y la riegas;
En gran manera la enriqueces;
10 Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof. Thou dost satiate its furrows, thou smoothest its clods, thou makest it soft with showers; thou blessest the springing thereof. Haces que se empapen sus surcos,
Haces descender sus canales;
La ablandas con lluvias,
Bendices sus renuevos.
11 Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness, and thy paths drop fatness: Tú coronas el año con tus bienes,
Y tus nubes destilan grosura.
12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness, and the hills are girded with gladness. Destilan sobre los pastizales del desierto,
Y los collados se ciñen de alegría.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. The meadows are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, yea, they sing. Se visten de manadas los llanos,
Y los valles se cubren de grano;
Dan voces de júbilo, y aun cantan.
