And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baal–zebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease. |
Et Achazia tomba par le treillis de sa chambre haute qui était à Samarie, et en fut malade. Et il envoya des messagers, et leur dit : Allez, consultez Baal-Zebub, dieu d'Ékron, [pour savoir] si je relèverai de cette maladie. |

But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baal–zebub the god of Ekron? |
Et l'ange de l'Éternel dit à Élie, le Thishbite : Lève-toi, monte à la rencontre des messagers du roi de Samarie, et dis-leur : Est-ce parce qu'il n'y a point de Dieu en Israël que vous allez consulter Baal-Zebub, dieu d'Ékron ? |

Entonces el ángel de Jehová habló a Elías tisbita, diciendo: Levántate, y sube a encontrarte con los mensajeros del rey de Samaria, y diles: ¿No hay Dios en Israel, que vais a consultar a Baal-zebub dios de Ecrón? |

Now therefore thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed. |
Et c'est pourquoi, ainsi dit l'Éternel : Tu ne descendras pas du lit sur lequel tu es monté, car tu mourras certainement. Et Élie partit. |

Now therefore thus saith Jehovah: Thou shalt not come down from the bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt certainly die. And Elijah departed. |
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Del lecho en que estás no te levantarás, sino que ciertamente morirás. Y Elías se fue. |

And when the messengers turned back unto him, he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back? |
Et les messagers revinrent vers Achaziaa, et il leur dit : Pourquoi revenez-vous ? |

And the messengers returned to him; and he said to them, Why have ye returned? |
Cuando los mensajeros se volvieron al rey, él les dijo: ¿Por qué os habéis vuelto? |

And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baal–zebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. |
Et ils lui dirent : Un homme est monté à notre rencontre, et nous a dit : Allez, retournez vers le roi qui vous a envoyés, et dites-lui : Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Est-ce parce qu'il n'y a point de Dieu en Israël, que tu envoies consulter Baal-Zebub, dieu d'Ékron ? C'est pourquoi tu ne descendras pas du lit sur lequel tu es monté ; car tu mourras certainement. |

And they said unto him, A man came up to meet us, and said to us, Go, return to the king that sent you and say to him, Thus saith Jehovah: Is it because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to inquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from the bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt certainly die. |
Ellos le respondieron: Encontramos a un varón que nos dijo: Id, y volveos al rey que os envió, y decidle: Así ha dicho Jehová: ¿No hay Dios en Israel, que tú envías a consultar a Baal-zebub dios de Ecrón? Por tanto, del lecho en que estás no te levantarás; de cierto morirás. |

And he said unto them, What manner of man was he which came up to meet you, and told you these words? |
Et il leur dit : Quelle manière d'homme était-ce, qui est monté à votre rencontre et vous a dit ces choses ? |

And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite. |
Et ils lui dirent : Un homme vêtu de poilb, et ceint sur ses reins d'une ceinture de cuir. Et il dit : C'est Élie, le Thishbite. |

And they said to him, He was a man in a hairy garment , and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite. |
Y ellos le respondieron: Un varón que tenía vestido de pelo, y ceñía sus lomos con un cinturón de cuero.a Entonces él dijo: Es Elías tisbita. |

Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. |
Et il envoya vers lui un chef de cinquantaine et sa cinquantaine ; et il monta vers lui. Et voici, il était assis au sommet d'une montagne. Et il lui dit : Homme de Dieu, le roi dit : Descends ! |

And he sent to him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him, and behold, he sat on the top of the mount. And he spoke to him: Man of God, the king says, Come down! |
Luego envió a él un capitán de cincuenta con sus cincuenta, el cual subió a donde él estaba; y he aquí que él estaba sentado en la cumbre del monte. Y el capitán le dijo: Varón de Dios, el rey ha dicho que desciendas. |

And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. |
Et Élie répondit et dit au chef de cinquantaine : Si je suis un homme de Dieu, que le feu descende des cieux et te dévore, toi et ta cinquantaine ! Et le feu descendit des cieux, et le dévora, lui et sa cinquantaine. |

And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, And if I be a man of God, let fire come down from the heavens and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from the heavens, and consumed him and his fifty. |
Y Elías respondió y dijo al capitán de cincuenta: Si yo soy varón de Dios, descienda fuego del cielo, y consúmate con tus cincuenta.b Y descendió fuego del cielo, que lo consumió a él y a sus cincuenta. |

Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. |
Et [Achazia] envoya de nouveau vers lui un autre chef de cinquantaine, et sa cinquantaine. Et il prit la parole et lui dit : Homme de Dieu, ainsi dit le roi : Descends promptement ! |

And again he sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he spoke and said to him, Man of God, thus says the king: Come down quickly! |
Volvió el rey a enviar a él otro capitán de cincuenta con sus cincuenta; y le habló y dijo: Varón de Dios, el rey ha dicho así: Desciende pronto. |

And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. |
Et Élie répondit et leur dit : Si je suis un homme de Dieu, que le feu descende des cieux, et te dévore, toi et ta cinquantaine ! Et le feu de Dieu descendit des cieux, et le dévora, lui et sa cinquantaine. |

And Elijah answered and said to them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from the heavens and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from the heavens, and consumed him and his fifty. |
Y le respondió Elías y dijo: Si yo soy varón de Dios, descienda fuego del cielo, y consúmate con tus cincuenta.c Y descendió fuego del cielo, y lo consumió a él y a sus cincuenta. |

And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight. |
Et [Achazia] envoya de nouveau un chef d'une troisième cinquantaine, et sa cinquantaine. Et ce troisième chef de cinquantaine monta, et vint et se mit sur ses genoux devant Élie, et le supplia, et lui dit : Homme de Dieu, je te prie, que ma viec et les viesc de ces cinquante hommes, tes serviteurs, soient précieuses à tes yeux. |

And again he sent the captain of a third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him and said to him, Man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight. |
Volvió a enviar al tercer capitán de cincuenta con sus cincuenta; y subiendo aquel tercer capitán de cincuenta, se puso de rodillas delante de Elías y le rogó, diciendo: Varón de Dios, te ruego que sea de valor delante de tus ojos mi vida, y la vida de estos tus cincuenta siervos. |

Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight. |
Voici, le feu est descendu des cieux et a dévoré les deux premiers chefs de cinquantaine et leurs cinquantaines ; mais maintenant, que ma vie soit précieuse à tes yeux. |

Behold, there came down fire from the heavens, and consumed the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties; but now, let my life be precious in thy sight. |
He aquí ha descendido fuego del cielo, y ha consumido a los dos primeros capitanes de cincuenta con sus cincuenta; sea estimada ahora mi vida delante de tus ojos. |

And the angel of the Lord said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king. |
Et l'ange de l'Éternel dit à Élie : Descends avec lui ; ne le crains pas. Et il se leva et descendit avec lui vers le roi. |

And he said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baal–zebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. |
Et il lui dit : Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Puisque tu as envoyé des messagers pour consulter Baal-Zebub, dieu d'Ékron, est-ce parce qu'il n'y avait point de Dieu en Israël pour consulter sa parole ? … c'est pourquoi tu ne descendras pas du lit sur lequel tu es monté ; car tu mourras certainement. |

And he said to him, Thus saith Jehovah: Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down from the bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt certainly die. |
Y le dijo: Así ha dicho Jehová: Por cuanto enviaste mensajeros a consultar a Baal-zebub dios de Ecrón, ¿no hay Dios en Israel para consultar en su palabra? No te levantarás, por tanto, del lecho en que estás, sino que de cierto morirás. |

So he died according to the word of the Lord which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son. |
Et il mourut, selon la parole de l'Éternel qu'Élie avait prononcée. Et Joram régna à sa place, en la seconde année de Joram, fils de Josaphat, roi de Juda ; car il n'avait pas de fils. |

And he died according to the word of Jehovah that Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram began to reign in his stead, in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; for he had no son. |
Y murió conforme a la palabra de Jehová, que había hablado Elías. Reinó en su lugar Joram, en el segundo año de Joram hijo de Josafat, rey de Judá; porque Ocozías no tenía hijo. |
