Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. |
Et Élisée dit : Écoutez la parole de l'Éternel. Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Demain à cette heure-ci, la mesurea de fleur de farine sera à un sicle, et les deux mesures d'orge à un sicle, à la porte de Samarie. |

And Elisha said, Hear the word of Jehovah. Thus saith Jehovah: To-morrow about this time shall the measure of fine flour be at a shekel, and two measures of barley at a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. |
Dijo entonces Eliseo: Oíd palabra de Jehová: Así dijo Jehová: Mañana a estas horas valdrá el seah de flor de harina un siclo, y dos seahs de cebada un siclo, a la puerta de Samaria. |

Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. |
Et le capitaine, sur la main duquel le roi s'appuyait, répondit à l'homme de Dieu, et dit : Voici, quand l'Éternel ferait des fenêtres aux cieux, cela arriverait-il ? Et [Élisée] dit : Voici, tu le verras de tes yeux, mais tu n'en mangeras pas. |

And the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, Behold, if Jehovah should make windows in the heavens, would this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. |
Y un príncipe sobre cuyo brazo el rey se apoyaba, respondió al varón de Dios, y dijo: Si Jehová hiciese ahora ventanas en el cielo, ¿sería esto así? Y él dijo: He aquí tú lo verás con tus ojos, mas no comerás de ello. |

And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? |
Et il y avait à l'entrée, de la porte quatre hommes lépreux, et ils se dirent l'un à l'autre : Pourquoi sommes-nous assis ici jusqu'à ce que nous mourions ? |

If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. |
Si nous disons : Entrons dans la ville, la famine est dans la ville, et nous y mourrons ; et si nous restons assis ici, nous mourrons. Et maintenant, venez, et passonsb dans le camp des Syriens : s'ils nous laissent vivre, nous vivrons ; et s'ils nous font mourir, nous mourrons. |

If we say, Let us enter into the city, the famine is in the city, and we shall die there; and if we abide here, we shall die. And now come, let us fall away to the camp of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they put us to death, we shall but die. |
Si tratáremos de entrar en la ciudad, por el hambre que hay en la ciudad moriremos en ella; y si nos quedamos aquí, también moriremos. Vamos, pues, ahora, y pasemos al campamento de los sirios; si ellos nos dieren la vida, viviremos; y si nos dieren la muerte, moriremos. |

And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there. |
Et ils se levèrent au crépuscule pour entrer dans le camp des Syriens ; et ils vinrent jusqu'au bout du camp des Syriens, et voici, il n'y avait personne. |

And they rose up in the dusk to go to the camp of the Syrians; and they came to the extremity of the camp of the Syrians; and behold, there was no man there. |
Se levantaron, pues, al anochecer, para ir al campamento de los sirios; y llegando a la entrada del campamento de los sirios, no había allí nadie. |

For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. |
Car le Seigneur avait fait entendre dans le camp des Syriens un bruit de chars et un bruit de chevaux, le bruit d'une grande armée ; et ils se dirent l'un à l'autre : Voici, le roi d'Israël a pris à sa solde contre nous les rois des Héthiens et les rois des Égyptiens, pour venir sur nous. |

For the Lord had made the army of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, a noise of a great host; and they said one to another, Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. |
Porque Jehová había hecho que en el campamento de los sirios se oyese estruendo de carros, ruido de caballos, y estrépito de gran ejército; y se dijeron unos a otros: He aquí, el rey de Israel ha tomado a sueldo contra nosotros a los reyes de los heteos y a los reyes de los egipcios, para que vengan contra nosotros. |

Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life. |
Et ils se levèrent au crépuscule, et s'enfuirent ; et ils abandonnèrent leurs tentes, et leurs chevaux, et leurs ânes, le camp tel quel ; et ils s'enfuirent pour [sauver] leur vie. |

And they rose up and fled in the dusk, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, the camp as it was, and fled for their life. |
Y así se levantaron y huyeron al anochecer, abandonando sus tiendas, sus caballos, sus asnos, y el campamento como estaba; y habían huido para salvar sus vidas. |

And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it. |
Et ces lépreux vinrent jusqu'au bout du camp ; et ils entrèrent dans une tente, et mangèrent et burent, et en emportèrent de l'argent, et de l'or, et des vêtements ; et ils s'en allèrent et les cachèrent. Et ils retournèrent, et entrèrent dans une autre tente et en emportèrent [du butin], et ils s'en allèrent et le cachèrent. |

And those lepers came to the extremity of the camp; and they went into one tent, and ate and drank, and carried thence silver and gold, and garments, and went and hid it; and they came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence, and went and hid it . |
Cuando los leprosos llegaron a la entrada del campamento, entraron en una tienda y comieron y bebieron, y tomaron de allí plata y oro y vestidos, y fueron y lo escondieron; y vueltos, entraron en otra tienda, y de allí también tomaron, y fueron y lo escondieron. |

Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household. |
Et ils se dirent l'un à l'autre : Nous ne faisons pas bien. Ce jour est un jour de bonnes nouvelles, et nous nous taisons. Si nous attendons jusqu'à la lumière du matin, l'iniquité nous trouvera. Et maintenant, venez, allons et rapportons-le à la maison du roi. |

And they said one to another, We are not doing right; this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, the iniquity will find us out; and now come, let us go and tell the king's household. |
Luego se dijeron el uno al otro: No estamos haciendo bien. Hoy es día de buena nueva, y nosotros callamos; y si esperamos hasta el amanecer, nos alcanzará nuestra maldad. Vamos pues, ahora, entremos y demos la nueva en casa del rey. |

So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were. |
Et ils vinrent et crièrent aux portiers de la ville, et leur rapportèrent, disant : Nous sommes venus dans le camp des Syriens ; et voici, il n'y avait personne, ni voix d'homme, seulement les chevaux attachés, et les ânes attachés, et les tentes comme elles étaient. |

And they came and called to the porters of the city, and told them saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and behold, there was no one there, no sound of man, but the horses tied, and the asses tied, and the tents as they were. |
Vinieron, pues, y gritaron a los guardas de la puerta de la ciudad, y les declararon, diciendo: Nosotros fuimos al campamento de los sirios, y he aquí que no había allí nadie, ni voz de hombre, sino caballos atados, asnos también atados, y el campamento intacto. |

And he called the porters; and they told it to the king’s house within. |
Et les portiers le crièrent et le rapportèrent dans la maison du roi, à l'intérieur. |

Los porteros gritaron, y lo anunciaron dentro, en el palacio del rey. |

And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city. |
Et le roi se leva de nuit, et dit à ses serviteurs : Je veux vous dire ce que les Syriens nous ont fait : ils savent que nous avons faim, et ils sont sortis du camp pour se cacher dans les champs, disant : Ils sortiront hors de la ville, et nous les prendrons vivants, et nous entrerons dans la ville. |

And the king rose up in the night and said to his servants, Let me tell you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we are hungry, and they have gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city. |
Y se levantó el rey de noche, y dijo a sus siervos: Yo os declararé lo que nos han hecho los sirios. Ellos saben que tenemos hambre, y han salido de las tiendas y se han escondido en el campo, diciendo: Cuando hayan salido de la ciudad, los tomaremos vivos, y entraremos en la ciudad. |

And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see. |
Et un de ses serviteurs répondit et dit : Qu'on prenne donc cinq des chevaux restants, qui demeurent de reste dans la [ville] ; voici, ils sont comme toute la multitude d'Israël qui est de reste en elle ; voici, ils sont comme toute la multitude d'Israël qui a péri. Envoyons-les, et nous verrons. |

Entonces respondió uno de sus siervos y dijo: Tomen ahora cinco de los caballos que han quedado en la ciudad (porque los que quedan acá también perecerán como toda la multitud de Israel que ya ha perecido), y enviemos y veamos qué hay. |

They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying, Go and see. |
Et ils prirent deux chars avec leurs chevaux, et le roi envoya après le camp des Syriens, disant : Allez et voyez. |

And they took two chariots with their horses; and the king sent after the army of the Syrians, saying, Go and see. |
Tomaron, pues, dos caballos de un carro, y envió el rey al campamento de los sirios, diciendo: Id y ved. |

And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king. |
Et ils s'en allèrent après eux jusqu'au Jourdain ; et voici, tout le chemin était plein de vêtements et d'objets que les Syriens avaient jetés dans leur fuite précipitée ; et les messagers s'en retournèrent et le rapportèrent au roi. |

And they went after them to the Jordan; and behold, all the way was full of garments and materials, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned and told the king. |
Y ellos fueron, y los siguieron hasta el Jordán; y he aquí que todo el camino estaba lleno de vestidos y enseres que los sirios habían arrojado por la premura. Y volvieron los mensajeros y lo hicieron saber al rey. |

And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord. |
Et le peuple sortit, et pilla le camp des Syriens : et la mesurec de fleur de farine fut à un sicle, et les deux mesuresc d'orge à un sicle, selon la parole de l'Éternel. |

And the people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians; and the measure of fine flour was at a shekel, and two measures of barley at a shekel, according to the word of Jehovah. |
Entonces el pueblo salió, y saqueó el campamento de los sirios. Y fue vendido un seah de flor de harina por un siclo, y dos seahs de cebada por un siclo, conforme a la palabra de Jehová. |

And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him. |
Et le roi avait commis à la garde de la porte le capitaine sur la main duquel il s'appuyait ; et le peuple le foula aux pieds dans la porte, et il mourut, selon ce qu'avait dit l'homme de Dieu, ce qu'il avait dit quand le roi était descendu vers lui. |

And the king had appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate; and the people trampled upon him in the gate, and he died, according to what the man of God had said, --what he had said when the king came down to him. |
Y el rey puso a la puerta a aquel príncipe sobre cuyo brazo él se apoyaba; y lo atropelló el pueblo a la entrada, y murió, conforme a lo que había dicho el varón de Dios, cuando el rey descendió a él. |

And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria: |
Et il arriva selon la parole que l'homme de Dieu avait adressée au roi, disant : Les deux mesuresc d'orge seront à un sicle, et la mesurec de fleur de farine sera à un sicle, demain à cette heure-ci, à la porte de Samarie. |

And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king saying, Two measures of barley shall be at a shekel, and the measure of fine flour at a shekel, to-morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria. |
Aconteció, pues, de la manera que el varón de Dios había hablado al rey, diciendo: Dos seahs de cebada por un siclo, y el seah de flor de harina será vendido por un siclo mañana a estas horas, a la puerta de Samaria. |

A lo cual aquel príncipe había respondido al varón de Dios, diciendo: Si Jehová hiciese ventanas en el cielo, ¿pudiera suceder esto? Y él dijo: He aquí tú lo verás con tus ojos, mas no comerás de ello. |

And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died. |
Et il lui en arriva ainsi : le peuple le foula aux pieds dans la porte, et il mourut. |

Y le sucedió así; porque el pueblo le atropelló a la entrada, y murió. |
