In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah began to reign. |

Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of the Lord his God, like David his father. |
Achaz était âgé de vingt ans lorsqu'il commença de régner ; et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem. Et il ne fit pas ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, son Dieu, comme [avait fait] David, son père ; |

But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel. |
mais il marcha dans la voie des rois d'Israël, et même il fit passer son fils par le feu, selon les abominations des nations que l'Éternel avait dépossédées devant les fils d'Israël. |

And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree. |

Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to war: and they besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him. |
Alors Retsin, roi de Syrie, et Pékakh, fils de Remalia, roi d'Israël, montèrent à Jérusalem pour lui faire la guerre ; et ils assiégèrent Achaz ; mais ils ne purent pas le vaincre. |

Then Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah son of Remaliah, the king of Israel, came up to Jerusalem to battle; and they besieged Ahaz, but were unable to conquer him. |
Entonces Rezín rey de Siria y Peka hijo de Remalías, rey de Israel, subieron a Jerusalén para hacer guerra y sitiar a Acaz; mas no pudieron tomarla.b |

At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drave the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there unto this day. |
En ce temps-là Retsin, roi de Syrie, recouvra Élath pour la Syrie ; et il expulsa d'Élath les Juifs ; et les Syriens entrèrent à Élath, et ils y ont habité jusqu'à ce jour. |

At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath; and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there to this day. |
En aquel tiempo el rey de Edom recobró Elat para Edom, y echó de Elat a los hombres de Judá; y los de Edom vinieron a Elat y habitaron allí hasta hoy. |

So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath–pileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, which rise up against me. |
Et Achaz envoya des messagers à Tiglath-Piléser, roi d'Assyrie, disant : Je suis ton serviteur et ton fils ; monte, et sauve-moi de la main du roi de Syrie et de la main du roi d'Israël qui s'élèvent contre moi. |

And Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria, saying, I am thy servant and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who have risen up against me. |
Entonces Acaz envió embajadores a Tiglat-pileser rey de Asiria, diciendo: Yo soy tu siervo y tu hijo; sube, y defiéndeme de mano del rey de Siria, y de mano del rey de Israel, que se han levantado contra mí. |

And Ahaz took the silver and gold that was found in the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the king’s house, and sent it for a present to the king of Assyria. |
Et Achaz prit l'argent et l'or, ce qui s'en trouva dans la maison de l'Éternel et dans les trésors de la maison du roi, et l'envoya en présent au roi d'Assyrie. |

And Ahaz took the silver and the gold that was found in the house of Jehovah, and in the treasures of the king's house, and sent it as a present to the king of Assyria. |
Y tomando Acaz la plata y el oro que se halló en la casa de Jehová, y en los tesoros de la casa real, envió al rey de Asiria un presente. |

And the king of Assyria hearkened unto him: for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin. |
Et le roi d'Assyrie l'écouta ; et le roi d'Assyrie monta à Damas, et la prit, et en transporta [les habitants] à Kir, et fit mourir Retsin. |

And the king of Assyria hearkened to him; and the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it, and carried it captive to Kir, and put Rezin to death. |
Y le atendió el rey de Asiria; pues subió el rey de Asiria contra Damasco, y la tomó, y llevó cautivos a los moradores a Kir, y mató a Rezín. |

And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath–pileser king of Assyria, and saw an altar that was at Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship thereof. |
Et le roi Achaz s'en alla à la rencontre de Tiglath-Piléser, roi d'Assyrie, à Damas ; et il vit l'autel qui était à Damas ; et le roi Achaz envoya à Urie, le sacrificateur, la forme de l'autel et son modèle, selon toute sa façon. |

And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria; and he saw the altar that was at Damascus, and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the form of the altar, and the pattern of it, according to all its workmanship. |
Después fue el rey Acaz a encontrar a Tiglat-pileser rey de Asiria en Damasco; y cuando vio el rey Acaz el altar que estaba en Damasco, envió al sacerdote Urías el diseño y la descripción del altar, conforme a toda su hechura. |

And Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the priest made it against king Ahaz came from Damascus. |
Et Urie, le sacrificateur, bâtit l'autel selon tout ce que le roi Achaz avait envoyé de Damas ; Urie, le sacrificateur, le fit ainsi, en attendant que le roi Achaz revînt de Damas. |

And Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus; thus Urijah the priest made it , against king Ahaz came from Damascus. |
Y el sacerdote Urías edificó el altar; conforme a todo lo que el rey Acaz había enviado de Damasco, así lo hizo el sacerdote Urías, entre tanto que el rey Acaz venía de Damasco. |

And when the king was come from Damascus, the king saw the altar: and the king approached to the altar, and offered thereon. |

And he burnt his burnt offering and his meat offering, and poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offerings, upon the altar. |
et il fit fumer sur l'autel son holocauste et son offrande de gâteau, et versa sa libation, et fit aspersion du sang de ses sacrifices de prospérités. |

y encendió su holocausto y su ofrenda, y derramó sus libaciones, y esparció la sangre de sus sacrificios de paz junto al altar. |

And he brought also the brasen altar, which was before the Lord, from the forefront of the house, from between the altar and the house of the Lord, and put it on the north side of the altar. |
Et quant à l'autel d'airain qui était devant l'Éternel, il le fit avancer de devant la maison, d'entre [son] autel et la maison de l'Éternel, et le mit à côté de [son] autel, vers le nord. |

And the brazen altar which was before Jehovah, he brought forward from the forefront of the house, from between his altar and the house of Jehovah, and put it by the side of his altar on the north. |
E hizo acercar el altar de broncec que estaba delante de Jehová, en la parte delantera de la casa, entre el altar y el templo de Jehová, y lo puso al lado del altar hacia el norte. |

And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king’s burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire by. |
Et le roi Achaz commanda à Urie, le sacrificateur, disant : Fais fumer sur le grand autel l'holocauste du matin et l'offrande de gâteau du soir, et l'holocauste du roi et son offrande de gâteau, et l'holocauste de tout le peuple du pays, et leur offrande de gâteau, et leurs libations ; et tu feras aspersion de tout le sang des holocaustes et de tout le sang des sacrifices sur cet autelb ; et l'autel d'airain sera pour moi, afin d'y consulterc. |

And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt-offering, and the evening oblation, and the king's burnt-offering, and his oblation, and the burnt-offering of all the people of the land, and their oblation, and their drink-offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt-offerings, and all the blood of the sacrifices; and the brazen altar shall be for me to inquire by . |
Y mandó el rey Acaz al sacerdote Urías, diciendo: En el gran altar encenderás el holocausto de la mañana y la ofrenda de la tarde, y el holocausto del rey y su ofrenda, y asimismo el holocausto de todo el pueblo de la tierra y su ofrenda y sus libaciones; y esparcirás sobre él toda la sangre del holocausto, y toda la sangre del sacrificio. El altar de bronce será mío para consultar en él. |

Thus did Urijah the priest, according to all that king Ahaz commanded. |
Et Urie, le sacrificateur, fit selon tout ce que le roi Achaz avait commandé. |

And king Ahaz cut off the borders of the bases, and removed the laver from off them; and took down the sea from off the brasen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a pavement of stones. |
Et le roi Achaz enleva les panneaux des bases, et ôta les cuves qui étaient dessus ; et il fit descendre la mer de dessus les bœufs d'airain qui étaient sous elle, et la mit sur un pavé de pierre. |

And king Ahaz cut off the panels of the bases, and removed the lavers from off them; and took down the sea from off the brazen oxen that were under it, and put it upon a stone pavement. |
Y cortó el rey Acaz los tableros de las basas, y les quitó las fuentes; y quitó también el mar de sobre los bueyes de bronce que estaban debajo de él,d y lo puso sobre el suelo de piedra. |

And the covert for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king’s entry without, turned he from the house of the Lord for the king of Assyria. |
Et il changea, dans la maison de l'Éternel, le portique du sabbat, qu'on avait bâti dans la maison, et l'entrée extérieure du roi, à cause du roi d'Assyrie. |

And the covered way of the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king's entry outside, he turned from the house of Jehovah on account of the king of Assyria. |
Asimismo el pórtico para los días de reposo,e que habían edificado en la casa, y el pasadizo de afuera, el del rey, los quitó del templo de Jehová, por causa del rey de Asiria. |
