Car notre évangile n'est pas venu à vous en parole seulement, mais aussi en puissance, et dans l'Esprit Saint, et dans une grande plénitude d'assurance, ainsi que vous savez quels nous avons été parmi vous pour l'amour de vous. |
Porque nuestro evangelio no llegó a vosotros solo en palabras, sino también en poder, en el Espíritu Santo y en mucha certidumbre; y sabéis qué clase de personas éramos entre vosotros a causa de vosotros. |
For our glad tidings were not with you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what we were among you for your sakes: |

So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. |

For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing. |
Car la parole du Seigneur a retenti de chez vous, non seulement dans la Macédoine et dans l'Achaïe, mais, en tous lieux, votre foi envers Dieu s'est répandue, de sorte que nous n'avons pas besoin d'en rien dire. |

for the word of the Lord sounded out from you, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place your faith which is towards God has gone abroad, so that we have no need to say anything; |
Porque partiendo de vosotros ha sido divulgada la palabra del Señor, no solo en Macedonia y Acaya, sino que también en todo lugar vuestra fe en Dios se ha extendido, de modo que nosotros no tenemos necesidad de hablar nada; |

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; |
Car eux-mêmes racontent de nous quelle entrée nous avons eue auprès de vous, et comment vous vous êtes tournés des idoles vers Dieu, pour servirb le Dieu vivant et vrai, |
porque ellos mismos cuentan de nosotros de qué manera nos acogisteis, y cómo os volvisteis de los ídolos a Dios, para servir al Dios vivo y verdadero, |
for they themselves relate concerning us what entering in we had to you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, |

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. |
