1	Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;	Et il arriva, après la mort de Saül, quand David fut revenu d'avoir frappé Amalek, que David habita deux jours à Tsiklag. Aconteció después de la muerte de Saúl, que vuelto David de la derrota de los amalecitas, estuvo dos días en Siclag.
2	It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.	Et, le troisième jour, voici, un homme vint du camp, d'auprès de Saül, ses vêtements déchirés et de la terre sur sa tête ; et aussitôt qu'il arriva auprès de David, il tomba contre terre et se prosterna.	And it came to pass on the third day, that behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his garments rent, and earth upon his head; and as soon as he came to David, he fell to the earth and did obeisance.	Al tercer día, sucedió que vino uno del campamento de Saúl, rotos sus vestidos, y tierra sobre su cabeza; y llegando a David, se postró en tierra e hizo reverencia.
3	And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.	Et David lui dit : D'où viens-tu ? Et il lui dit : Je me suis échappé du camp d'Israël.	And David said to him, Whence comest thou? And he said to him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.	Y le preguntó David: ¿De dónde vienes? Y él respondió: Me he escapado del campamento de Israel.
4	And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.	Et David lui dit : Que s'est-il passé ? raconte-le-moi, je te prie. Et il dit que le peuple s'était enfui de la bataille, et que beaucoup d'entre le peuple étaient tombés et étaient morts, et que Saül aussi et Jonathan, son fils, étaient morts.	And David said to him, What has taken place? I pray thee, tell me. And he said that the people had fled from the battle, and many of the people also had fallen and died, and that Saul and Jonathan his son were dead also.	David le dijo: ¿Qué ha acontecido? Te ruego que me lo digas. Y él respondió: El pueblo huyó de la batalla, y también muchos del pueblo cayeron y son muertos; también Saúl y Jonatán su hijo murieron.
5	And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?	Et David dit au jeune homme qui lui racontait [ces choses] : Comment sais-tu que Saül et Jonathan, son fils, sont morts ?	And David said to the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead?	Dijo David a aquel joven que le daba las nuevas: ¿Cómo sabes que han muerto Saúl y Jonatán su hijo?
6	And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.	Et le jeune homme qui lui rapportait [ces choses] dit : Je passais par aventure sur la montagne de Guilboa ; et voici, Saül s'appuyait sur sa lance, et voici, les chars et les gens de cheval le serraient de près.	And the young man that told him said, I happened by chance to be upon mount Gilboa, and behold, Saul leaned on his spear; and behold, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.	El joven que le daba las nuevas respondió: Casualmente vine al monte de Gilboa, y hallé a Saúl que se apoyaba sobre su lanza, y venían tras él carros y gente de a caballo.
7	And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.	Et il se tourna en arrière et me vit, et m'appela ; et je dis : Me voici.	And he looked behind him, and saw me, and called to me. And I said, Here am I.	Y mirando él hacia atrás, me vio y me llamó; y yo dije: Heme aquí.
8	And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.	Et il me dit : Qui es-tu ? Et je lui dis : Je suis Amalékite.	And he said to me, Who art thou? And I said to him, I am an Amalekite.	Y me preguntó: ¿Quién eres tú? Y yo le respondí: Soy amalecita.
9	He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.	Et il me dit : Tiens-toi, je te prie, sur moi, et tue-moi, car l'angoissea m'a saisi, parce que ma vie est encore toute en moi.	He said to me again, Stand, I pray thee, over me, and slay me; for anguish has seized me; for my life is yet whole in me.	Él me volvió a decir: Te ruego que te pongas sobre mí y me mates, porque se ha apoderado de mí la angustia; pues mi vida está aún toda en mí.
10	So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.	Alors je me suis tenu sur lui, et je l'ai mis à mort ; car je savais qu'il ne vivrait pas après sa chute ; et j'ai pris la couronne qui était sur sa tête et le bracelet qui était à son bras, et je les ai apportés ici à mon seigneur.	So I stood over him, and put him to death, for I knew that he would not live after his fall; and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither to my lord.	Yo entonces me puse sobre él y le maté, porque sabía que no podía vivir después de su caída; y tomé la corona que tenía en su cabeza, y la argolla que traía en su brazo, y las he traído acá a mi señor.a
11	Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:	Alors David saisit ses vêtements et les déchira ; et tous les hommes qui étaient avec lui [firent] de même ;	Then David took hold of his garments and rent them; and all the men that were with him did likewise.	Entonces David, asiendo de sus vestidos, los rasgó; y lo mismo hicieron los hombres que estaban con él.
12	And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the Lord, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.	et ils menèrent deuil, et pleurèrent, et jeûnèrent jusqu'au soir sur Saül et sur Jonathan, son fils, et sur le peuple de l'Éternel, et sur la maison d'Israël, parce qu'ils étaient tombés par l'épée.	And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of Jehovah, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.	Y lloraron y lamentaron y ayunaron hasta la noche, por Saúl y por Jonatán su hijo, por el pueblo de Jehová y por la casa de Israel, porque habían caído a filo de espada.
13	And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.	Et David dit au jeune homme qui lui avait rapporté [ces choses] : D'où es-tu ? Et il dit : Je suis fils d'un homme étranger, d'un Amalékite.	And David said to the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he said, I am the son of an Amalekite stranger.	Y David dijo a aquel joven que le había traído las nuevas: ¿De dónde eres tú? Y él respondió: Yo soy hijo de un extranjero, amalecita.
14	And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?	Et David lui dit : Comment n'as-tu pas craint d'étendre ta main pour tuerb l'oint de l'Éternel ?	And David said to him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thy hand to destroy Jehovah's anointed?	Y le dijo David: ¿Cómo no tuviste temor de extender tu mano para matar al ungido de Jehová?
15	And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.	Alors David appela un des jeunes hommes et [lui] dit : Approche [et] jette-toi sur lui ! Et il le frappa, et il mourut.	Then David called one of the young men and said, Draw near, and fall on him. And he smote him that he died.	Entonces llamó David a uno de sus hombres, y le dijo: Ve y mátalo. Y él lo hirió, y murió.
16	And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the Lord’s anointed.	Et David lui dit : Ton sang soit sur ta tête, car ta bouche a témoigné contre toi, disant : J'ai mis à mort l'oint de l'Éternel.	And David said to him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth has testified against thee, saying, I have slain Jehovah's anointed.	Y David le dijo: Tu sangre sea sobre tu cabeza, pues tu misma boca atestiguó contra ti, diciendo: Yo maté al ungido de Jehová.
17	And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:	Et David prononça sur Saül et sur Jonathan, son fils, cette complainte ;	And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son;	Y endechó David a Saúl y a Jonatán su hijo con esta endecha,
18	(Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)	et il dit d'enseigner aux fils de Juda [le chant de] l'Arcc ; voici, il est écrit au livre de Jashard :	and he bade them teach the children of Judah the song of the bow. Behold, it is written in the book of Jasher: --	y dijo que debía enseñarse a los hijos de Judá. He aquí que está escrito en el librob de Jaser.c
19	The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!	Ton ornement, ô Israël, est tué sur tes hauts lieux. Comment les hommes forts sont-ils tombés ! 20	Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.	Ne le racontez pas dans Gath, n'en portez pas la nouvelle dans les rues d'Askalon ; de peur que les filles des Philistins ne se réjouissent, de peur que les filles des incirconcis ne tressaillent de joie.	Tell it not in Gath, carry not the tidings in the streets of Ashkelon; Lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, Lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph. 21	Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.	Montagnes de Guilboa, qu'il n'y ait pas de rosée, pas de pluie sur vous, ni des champs d'offrandese ; car là fut jeté comme une chose souillée le bouclier des hommes forts, le bouclier de Saül, [comme s'il n'eût] pas été oint d'huile.	Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, no rain upon you, nor fields of heave-offerings! For there the shield of the mighty was vilely cast away, The shield of Saul, as not anointed with oil. 22	From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.	L'arc de Jonathan ne se retirait pas du sang des tués [et] de la graisse des hommes forts ; et l'épée de Saül ne retournait pas à vide. Sin sangre de los muertos, sin grosura de los valientes, El arco de Jonatán no volvía atrás, Ni la espada de Saúl volvió vacía.
23	Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.	Saül et Jonathan, aimés et agréables dans leur vie, n'ont pas été séparés dans leur mort. Ils étaient plus rapides que les aigles, plus forts que les lions. 26	I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.	Je suis dans l'angoisse à cause de toi, Jonathan, mon frère ! Tu étais pour moi plein de charmes ; ton amour pour moi était merveilleux, plus [grand] que l'amour des femmes.
