The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. |

And he said, The Lord will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither. |
Et il dit : L'Éternel rugit de Sion, et de Jérusalem il fait entendre sa voix ; et les pâturages des bergers mènent deuil, et le sommet du Carmel est séché. |

And he said, Jehovah roareth from Zion, and uttereth his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withereth. |
Dijo: Jehová rugirá desde Sion, y dará su voz desde Jerusalén,c y los campos de los pastores se enlutarán, y se secará la cumbre del Carmelo. |

Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : À cause de trois transgressions de Damas, et à cause de quatre, je ne révoquerai pas [mon arrêt] ; parce qu'ils ont foulé Galaad avec des traîneaux de fer. |

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke my sentence , because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron. |
Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco,d y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque trillaron a Galaad con trillos de hierro. |

But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben–hadad. |
Et j'enverrai un feu dans la maison de Hazaël, et il dévorera les palais de Ben-Hadad ; |

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the Lord. |
et je briserai la barreb de Damas, et, de la valléec d'Aven je retrancherai l'habitant, et de Beth-Éden, celui qui tient le sceptre ; et le peuple de la Syrie ira en captivité à Kir, dit l'Éternel. |

And I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Beth-Eden; and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith Jehovah. |
Y quebraré los cerrojos de Damasco, y destruiré a los moradores del valle de Avén, y los gobernadores de Bet-edén; y el pueblo de Siria será transportado a Kir, dice Jehová. |

Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom: |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : À cause de trois transgressions de Gaza, et à cause de quatre, je ne led révoquerai point, parce qu'ils ont emmené captive la captivité tout entière, pour la livrer à Édom ; |

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Gazah, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom. |
Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque llevó cautivo a todo un pueblo para entregarlo a Edom. |

But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof: |
mais j'enverrai un feu dans les murs de Gaza, et il dévorera ses palais ; |

Prenderé fuego en el muro de Gaza, y consumirá sus palacios. |

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord God. |
et je retrancherai d'Asdod l'habitant, et d'Askalon celui qui tient le sceptre ; et je tournerai ma main contre Ékron, et le reste des Philistins périra, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn my hand against Ekron; and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord Jehovah. |
Y destruiré a los moradores de Asdod, y a los gobernadores de Ascalón; y volveré mi mano contra Ecrón, y el resto de los filisteose perecerá, ha dicho Jehová el Señor. |

Ainsi dit l'Éternel : À cause de trois transgressions de Tyr, et à cause de quatre, je ne lee révoquerai point, parce qu'ils ont livré la captivité tout entière à Édom, et ne se sont pas souvenus de l'alliance fraternelle ; |

Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever: |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : À cause de trois transgressions d'Édom, et à cause de quatre, je ne lef révoquerai point, parce qu'il a poursuivi son frère avec l'épée, et a étouffé la miséricordeg, et que sa colère déchira sans fin, et qu'il garda sa fureur à toujours. |

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because he pursued his brother with the sword, and cast off all pity; and his anger did tear continually, and he kept his wrath for ever. |
Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom,g y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque persiguió a espada a su hermano, y violó todo afecto natural; y en su furor le ha robado siempre, y perpetuamente ha guardado el rencor. |

Et j'enverrai un feu sur Théman, et il dévorera les palais de Botsra. |

Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border: |
Ainsi dit l'Éternel : À cause de trois transgressions des fils d'Ammon, et à cause de quatre, je ne leh révoquerai point, parce qu'ils ont fendu le ventre aux femmes enceintes de Galaad, afin d'élargir leurs frontières ; |

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not revoke its sentence; because they ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border. |
Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Amón,h y por el cuarto, no revocaré su castigo; porque para ensanchar sus tierras abrieron a las mujeres de Galaad que estaban encintas. |

But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind: |
et j'allumerai un feu dans les murs de Rabba, et il dévorera ses palais, au milieu des cris au jour de la bataille, au milieu de la tempête au jour du tourbillon ; |

And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind. |
Encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabá, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en el día de la batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso; |

et leur roi ira en captivité, lui et ses princes ensemble, dit l'Éternel. |
