Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit. |
☆ Ainsi m'a fait voir le Seigneur, l'Éternel, et voici, un panier de fruits d'été ! |

Thus did Jehovah shew unto me; and behold, a basket of summer-fruit. |
Así me ha mostrado Jehová el Señor: He aquí un canastillo de fruta de verano.a |

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more. |
Et il dit : Que vois-tu, Amos ? Et je dis : Un panier de fruits d'été. Et l'Éternel me dit : La fin est venue pour mon peuple Israël ; je ne passerai plus par-dessus lui. |

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer-fruit. And Jehovah said unto me, The end is come upon my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more. |
Y dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y respondí: Un canastillo de fruta de verano. Y me dijo Jehová: Ha venido el finb sobre mi pueblo Israel; no lo toleraré más. |

And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord God: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence. |
Et, en ce jour-là, les cantiques du palaisa seront des hurlements, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. Les cadavres seront en grand nombre ; en tout lieu on les jettera dehors… Silenceb ! |

And the songs of the palace shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord Jehovah. The dead bodies shall be many; in every place they shall be cast forth. Silence! |
Y los cantores del templo gemirán en aquel día, dice Jehová el Señor; muchos serán los cuerpos muertos; en todo lugar los echarán fuera en silencio. |

Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, |
Écoutez ceci, vous qui êtes acharnésc après les pauvres pour faire disparaître les débonnaires du pays, |

Hear this, ye that pant after the needy, even to cause to fail the poor of the land, |
Oíd esto, los que explotáis a los menesterosos, y arruináis a los pobres de la tierra, |

Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? |
disant : Quand sera passée la nouvelle lune, pour que nous vendions du blé ? et le sabbat, pour que nous ouvrions nos greniers ? faisant l'épha petit et le sicle grand, et falsifiant la balance pour frauder ; |

diciendo: ¿Cuándo pasará el mes, y venderemos el trigo; y la semana, y abriremos los graneros del pan, y achicaremos la medida, y subiremos el precio, y falsearemos con engaño la balanza, |

That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat? |
afin d'acheter les chétifs pour de l'argent, et le pauvre pour une paire de sandales, et de vendre la criblure du grain. |

The Lord hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. |
L'Éternel a juré par la gloire de Jacob : Si jamais j'oublie aucune de leurs œuvres ! |

Jehovah hath sworn by the glory of Jacob, Certainly I will never forget any of their works. |
Jehová juró por la gloria de Jacob: No me olvidaré jamás de todas sus obras. |

Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. |
Pour cela, le pays ne tremblera-t-il pas ? Et chacun de ses habitants ne mènera-t-il pas deuil ? Et il montera tout entier comme le Nil, et enflera ses flots, et s'abaissera comme le fleuved d'Égypte. |

Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? And it shall wholly rise up like the Nile; and it shall surge and sink down, as the river of Egypt. |
¿No se estremecerá la tierra sobre esto? ¿No llorará todo habitante de ella? Subirá toda, como un río, y crecerá y mermará como el río de Egipto. |

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: |
Et il arrivera en ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, que je ferai coucher le soleil en plein midi, et que j'amènerai les ténèbres sur la terre en plein jour. |

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord Jehovah, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the land in the clear day. |
Acontecerá en aquel día, dice Jehová el Señor, que haré que se ponga el sol a mediodía, y cubriré de tinieblas la tierra en el día claro. |

And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. |
Et je changerai vos fêtes en deuil, et toutes vos chansons en lamentation ; et sur tous les reins j'amènerai le sac, et chaque tête je la rendrai chauve ; et je ferai que ce sera comme le deuil d'un [fils] unique, et la fin sera comme un jour d'amertume. |

Y cambiaré vuestras fiestas en lloro, y todos vuestros cantares en lamentaciones; y haré poner cilicio sobre todo lomo, y que se rape toda cabeza; y la volveré como en llanto de unigénito, y su postrimería como día amargo. |

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: |
Voici, des jours viennent, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, où j'enverrai une famine dans le pays ; non une famine de pain, ni une soif d'eau, mais d'entendre les paroles de l'Éternel. |

Behold, days come, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I will send a famine in the land; not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of Jehovah. |
He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová el Señor, en los cuales enviaré hambre a la tierra, no hambre de pan, ni sed de agua, sino de oír la palabra de Jehová. |

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it. |
Et ils erreront d'une mer à l'autre, et du nord au levant ; ils courront çà et là pour chercher la parole de l'Éternel, et ils ne la trouveront pas. |

En ce jour-là, les belles vierges et les jeunes gens défaudront de soif, — |

En aquel tiempo las doncellas hermosas y los jóvenes desmayarán de sed. |

They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beer–sheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again. |
ceux qui jurent par le péché de Samarie et qui disent : Dan, ton Dieu est vivant ! et : La voie de Beër-Shéba est vivante ! Et ils tomberont, et ne se relèveront jamais. |

Los que juran por el pecado de Samaria, y dicen: Por tu Dios, oh Dan, y: Por el camino de Beerseba, caerán, y nunca más se levantarán. |
