And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly. |

Then Solomon spake unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief of the fathers. |

So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness. |
et Salomon, et toute la congrégation avec lui, allèrent au haut lieu qui était à Gabaon ; car là était la tente d'assignation de Dieu, que Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, avait faite dans le désert |

Y fue Salomón, y con él toda esta asamblea, al lugar alto que había en Gabaón; porque allí estaba el tabernáculo de reunión de Dios, que Moisés siervo de Jehová había hecho en el desierto. |

But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjath–jearim to the place which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem. |
(mais David avait fait monter l'arche de Dieu de Kiriath-Jéarim au [lieu] que David lui avait préparé ; car il lui avait tendu une tente à Jérusalem) ; |

Moreover the brasen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the Lord: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it. |
et l'autel d'airain qu'avait fait Betsaleël, fils d'Uri, fils de Hur, était là, devant le tabernacle de l'Éternel ; et Salomon et la congrégation la recherchèrent. |

And the brazen altar that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, was there before the tabernacle of Jehovah; and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it. |
Asimismo el altar de bronceb que había hecho Bezaleel hijo de Uri, hijo de Hur, estaba allí delante del tabernáculo de Jehová, al cual fue a consultar Salomón con aquella asamblea. |

And Solomon went up thither to the brasen altar before the Lord, which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it. |
Et Salomon offrit là, devant l'Éternel, sur l'autel d'airain qui était devant la tente d'assignation ; il offrit mille holocaustes sur cet [autel]. |

And Solomon offered there upon the brazen altar before Jehovah which was at the tent of meeting; and he offered up a thousand burnt-offerings upon it. |
Subió, pues, Salomón allá delante de Jehová, al altar de bronce que estaba en el tabernáculo de reunión, y ofreció sobre él mil holocaustos. |

In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee. |

And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead. |
Et Salomon dit à Dieu : Tu as usé d'une grande bonté envers David, mon père, et tu m'as fait roi à sa place : |

And Solomon said to God, Thou hast shewn unto David my father great loving-kindness, and hast made me king in his stead. |
Y Salomón dijo a Dios: Tú has tenido con David mi padre gran misericordia, y a mí me has puesto por rey en lugar suyo. |

Now, O Lord God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. |
maintenant, Éternel Dieu, que ta parole à David, mon père, soit ferme ; car tu m'as établi roi sur un peuple nombreux comme la poussière de la terre : |

Now, Jehovah Elohim, let thy word unto David my father be firm; for thou hast made me king over a people numerous as the dust of the earth. |
Confírmese pues, ahora, oh Jehová Dios, tu palabra dada a David mi padre; porque tú me has puesto por rey sobre un pueblo numeroso como el polvo de la tierra.c |

Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great? |
maintenant, donne-moi de la sagesse et de la connaissance, et je sortirai et j'entrerai devant ce peuple ; car qui jugera ton peuple qui est si grand ? |

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: |
Et Dieu dit à Salomon : Parce que c'est cela qui était dans ton cœur, et que tu n'as pas demandé des richesses, des biens, et de la gloire, ni la vie de ceux qui te haïssent, et que tu n'as pas non plus demandé de longs jours, mais que tu as demandé pour toi de la sagesse et de la connaissance afin de pouvoir juger mon peuple sur lequel je t'ai établi roi, |

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thy heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of them that hate thee, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked for thyself wisdom and knowledge, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king: |
Y dijo Dios a Salomón: Por cuanto hubo esto en tu corazón, y no pediste riquezas, bienes o gloria, ni la vida de los que te quieren mal, ni pediste muchos días, sino que has pedido para ti sabiduría y ciencia para gobernar a mi pueblo, sobre el cual te he puesto por rey, |

Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like. |
la sagesse et la connaissance te sont données ; et je te donnerai des richesses, et des biens, et de la gloire, comme n'en ont pas eu les rois qui ont été avant toi, et comme après toi aucun n'en aura. |

sabiduría y ciencia te son dadas; y también te daré riquezas, bienes y gloria, como nunca tuvieron los reyes que han sido antes de ti, ni tendrán los que vengan después de ti. |

Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel. |
Et Salomon revint à Jérusalem, du haut lieu qui était à Gabaon, de devant la tente d'assignation, et il régna sur Israël. |

And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. |
Et Salomon rassembla des chars et des cavaliers ; et il eut mille quatre cents chars et douze mille cavaliers ; et il les plaça dans les villes à chars, et auprès du roi à Jérusalem. |

And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; and he had a thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen; and he placed them in the chariot-cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. |
Y juntó Salomón carros y gente de a caballo; y tuvo mil cuatrocientos carros y doce mil jinetes,d los cuales puso en las ciudades de los carros y con el rey en Jerusalén. |

And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance. |
Et le roi fit que l'argent et l'or, dans Jérusalem, étaient comme les pierres, et il fit que les cèdres étaient, en quantité, comme les sycomores qui sont dans le pays plat. |

And the king made silver and gold in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he as the sycamores that are in the lowland for abundance. |
Y acumuló el rey plata y oro en Jerusalén como piedras,e y cedro como cabrahígos de la Sefela en abundancia. |

And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king’s merchants received the linen yarn at a price. |
Et quant aux chevaux de Salomon, il les tirait d'Égypte : une caravane de marchands du roi prenait un convoi [de chevaux] pour un certain prix ; |

And the exportation of horses that Solomon had was from Egypt: a caravan of the king's merchants fetched a drove of horses , at a price. |
Y los mercaderes del rey compraban por contrato caballos y lienzos finos de Egipto para Salomón.f |

And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so brought they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria, by their means. |
et on faisait monter et sortir d'Égypte un char pour six cents [sicles] d'argent, et un cheval pour cent cinquante ; et on en faisait venir ainsi, par leur main, pour tous les rois des Héthiens et pour les rois de Syrie. |

And they fetched up and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty; and so they brought them by their means, for all the kings of the Hittites and for the kings of Syria. |
Y subían y compraban en Egipto un carro por seiscientas piezas de plata, y un caballo por ciento cincuenta; y así compraban por medio de ellos para todos los reyes de los heteos, y para los reyes de Siria. |
