In the six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah. |

Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the Lord and of the king’s house, and sent to Ben–hadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying, |

And Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of Jehovah and of the king's house, and sent to Ben-hadad king of Syria, who dwelt at Damascus, saying, |
Entonces sacó Asa la plata y el oro de los tesoros de la casa de Jehová y de la casa real, y envió a Ben-adad rey de Siria, que estaba en Damasco, diciendo: |

There is a league between me and thee, as there was between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me. |
Il y a alliance entre moi et toi, et entre mon père et ton père ; voici, je t'envoie de l'argent et de l'or : va, romps ton alliance avec Baësha, roi d'Israël, afin qu'il s'en aille d'auprès de moi. |

And Ben–hadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and they smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abel–maim, and all the store cities of Naphtali. |
Et Ben-Hadad écouta le roi Asa, et envoya les chefs de ses troupes contre les villes d'Israël, et ils frappèrent Ijon, et Dan, et Abel-Maïm, et tous les entrepôts des villes de Nephthali. |

And Ben-hadad hearkened to king Asa, and sent the captains of his forces against the cities of Israel; and they smote Ijon and Dan and Abelmaim, and all the store-magazines of the cities of Naphtali. |
Y consintió Ben-adad con el rey Asa, y envió los capitanes de sus ejércitos contra las ciudades de Israel; y conquistaron Ijón, Dan, Abel-maim y las ciudades de aprovisionamiento de Neftalí. |

And it came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that he left off building of Ramah, and let his work cease. |

Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah. |
Et le roi Asa prit tout Juda, et ils emportèrent les pierres de Rama, et les bois avec lesquels Baësha bâtissait ; et il en bâtit Guéba et Mitspa. |

And king Asa took all Judah; and they carried away the stones and the timber from Ramah, with which Baasha had been building, and he built with them Geba and Mizpah. |
Entonces el rey Asa tomó a todo Judá, y se llevaron de Ramá la piedra y la madera con que Baasa edificaba, y con ellas edificó a Geba y a Mizpa. |

And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the Lord thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand. |
Et en ce temps-là Hanani, le voyant, vint vers Asa, roi de Juda, et lui dit : Parce que tu t'es appuyé sur le roi de Syrie, et que tu ne t'es pas appuyé sur l'Éternel, ton Dieu, à cause de cela, l'armée du roi de Syrie est échappée de ta main. |

En aquel tiempo vino el vidente Hanani a Asa rey de Judá, y le dijo: Por cuanto te has apoyado en el rey de Siria, y no te apoyaste en Jehová tu Dios, por eso el ejército del rey de Siria ha escapado de tus manos. |

Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the Lord, he delivered them into thine hand. |
Les Éthiopiens et les Libyens n'étaient-ils pas une armée nombreuse, avec des chars et des cavaliers en très-grand nombre ? Et quand tu t'appuyais sur l'Éternel, il les livra entre tes mains. |

Were not the Ethiopians and the Libyans a huge army, with very many chariots and horsemen? but when thou didst rely on Jehovah, he delivered them into thy hand. |
Los etíopes y los libios, ¿no eran un ejército numerosísimo, con carros y mucha gente de a caballo? Con todo, porque te apoyaste en Jehová, él los entregó en tus manos. |

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. |
Car les yeux de l'Éternel parcourent toute la terre, afin qu'il se montre fort, en faveur de ceux qui sont d'un cœur parfait envers lui. En cela, tu as agi follement ; car désormais tu auras des guerres. |

Porque los ojos de Jehová contemplan toda la tierra, para mostrar su poder a favor de los que tienen corazón perfecto para con él. Locamente has hecho en esto; porque de aquí en adelante habrá más guerra contra ti. |

Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time. |
Et Asa s'irrita contre le voyant, et le mit en prison, car il était indigné contre lui à cause de cela. Et en ce temps-là, Asa opprima quelques-uns du peuple. |

And Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in the prison; for he was enraged with him because of this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time. |
Entonces se enojó Asa contra el vidente y lo echó en la cárcel, porque se encolerizó grandemente a causa de esto. Y oprimió Asa en aquel tiempo a algunos del pueblo. |

And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians. |
Et la trente-neuvième année de son règne, Asa fut malade des pieds, jusqu'à ce que son mal fut extrêmement grand ; et dans sa maladie aussi, il ne rechercha pas l'Éternel, mais les médecins. |

And Asa in the thirty-ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was extremely great; yet in his disease he did not seek Jehovah, but the physicians. |
En el año treinta y nueve de su reinado, Asa enfermó gravemente de los pies, y en su enfermedad no buscó a Jehová, sino a los médicos. |

And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared by the apothecaries’ art: and they made a very great burning for him. |
Et on l'enterra dans son sépulcre, qu'il s'était creusé dans la ville de David ; et on le coucha dans un lit qu'on remplit d'aromates et d'un mélange d'épices composé selon l'art du parfumeur ; et on en brûla pour lui en très-grande abondance. |

And they buried him in his own sepulchre, which he had excavated for himself in the city of David, and laid him in a bed filled with spices, a mixture of divers kinds prepared by the perfumer's art; and they made a very great burning for him. |
Y lo sepultaron en los sepulcros que él había hecho para sí en la ciudad de David; y lo pusieron en un ataúd, el cual llenaron de perfumes y diversas especias aromáticas, preparadas por expertos perfumistas; e hicieron un gran fuego en su honor. |
