And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the Lord, and an house for his kingdom. |
☆ Et Salomon résolut de bâtir une maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, et une maison pour son royaume. |

And Solomon purposed to build a house for the name of Jehovah, and a house for his kingdom. |
Determinó, pues, Salomón edificar casa al nombre de Jehová, y casa para su reino. |

And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens, and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them. |
Et Salomon dénombra soixante-dix mille portefaix, et quatre-vingt mille hommes qui taillaient [la pierre] sur la montagne, et trois mille six cents surveillants [préposés] sur eux. |

And Solomon numbered seventy thousand men to bear burdens, and eighty thousand stone-masons in the mountain, and three thousand six hundred to superintend them. |
Y designó Salomón setenta mil hombres que llevasen cargas, y ochenta mil hombres que cortasen en los montes, y tres mil seiscientos que los vigilasen. |

And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, even so deal with me. |
Et Salomon envoya vers Hirama, roi de Tyr, disant : [Fais pour moi] comme tu as fait pour David, mon père, à qui tu as envoyé des cèdres pour se bâtir une maison afin d'y habiter. |

And Solomon sent to Huram king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him a house to dwell therein so do for me . |
Y envió a decir Salomón a Hiram rey de Tiro: Haz conmigo como hiciste con David mi padre, enviándole cedros para que edificara para sí casa en que morase. |

Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel. |
Voici, je bâtis une maison pour le nom de l'Éternel, mon Dieu, pour la lui consacrerb, pour faire fumer devant lui l'encens de drogues odoriférantes, et pour l'arrangement continuel [des pains], et pour les holocaustes du matin et du soir, des sabbats, et des nouvelles lunes, et des jours solennels de l'Éternel, notre Dieu ; cela est [prescrit] à Israël à toujours. |

Behold, I build a house unto the name of Jehovah my God to dedicate it to him, to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual arrangement of the shewbread , and for the morning and evening burnt-offerings and on the sabbaths and on the new moons, and on the set feasts of Jehovah our God. He aquí, yo tengo que edificar casa al nombre de Jehová mi Dios, para consagrársela, para quemar incienso aromático delante de él, y para la colocación continua de los panes de la proposición, y para holocaustos a mañana y tarde, en los días de reposo,a nuevas lunas, y festividades de Jehová nuestro Dios; lo cual ha de ser perpetuo en Israel. |

And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods. |
Et la maison que je bâtis sera grande ; car notre Dieu est grand au-dessus de tous les dieux. |

Y la casa que tengo que edificar, ha de ser grande; porque el Dios nuestro es grande sobre todos los dioses. |

But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him? |
Et qui a le pouvoir de lui bâtir une maison, car les cieux, et les cieux des cieux, ne peuvent le contenir ? Et qui suis-je, moi, pour lui bâtir une maison, si ce n'est pour faire fumer [ce qui se brûle] devant lui ? |

But who is able to build him a house, seeing the heavens and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? And who am I that I should build him a house, except to burn sacrifice before him? |
Mas ¿quién será capaz de edificarle casa,b siendo que los cielos y los cielos de los cielos no pueden contenerlo? ¿Quién, pues, soy yo, para que le edifique casa, sino tan solo para quemar incienso delante de él? |

Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide. |
Et maintenant, envoie-moi un homme habile à travailler en or, et en argent, et en airain, et en fer, et en pourpre, et en cramoisi, et en bleu, et qui sache graverc, avec les hommes habiles qui sont auprès de moi en Juda et à Jérusalem [et] que David, mon père, a préparés. |

And now send me a man skilful to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze, and in iron, and in purple and crimson and blue, and experienced in carving, besides the skilful men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided. |
Envíame, pues, ahora un hombre hábil que sepa trabajar en oro, en plata, en bronce, en hierro, en púrpura, en grana y en azul, y que sepa esculpir con los maestros que están conmigo en Judá y en Jerusalén, los cuales dispuso mi padre. |

Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants, |
Et envoie-moi du Liban des bois de cèdres, de cyprès, et d'algummimd ; car je sais que tes serviteurs s'entendent à couper le bois dans le Liban ; et voici, mes serviteurs seront avec tes serviteurs, |

Send me also cedar-trees, cypress-trees, and sandal-wood trees, out of Lebanon; for I know that thy servants are experienced in cutting timber in Lebanon; and behold, my servants shall be with thy servants, |
Envíame también madera del Líbano: cedro, ciprés y sándalo; porque yo sé que tus siervos saben cortar madera en el Líbano; y he aquí, mis siervos irán con los tuyos, |

Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great. |
pour me préparer du bois en abondance, car la maison que je bâtis sera grande et merveilleuse. |

And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil. |
Et voici, je donnerai à tes serviteurs, les coupeurs, qui abattront les bois, vingt mille cors de froment battue, et vingt mille cors d'orge, et vingt mille baths de vin, et vingt mille baths d'huile. |

And behold, I will give to thy servants the hewers that fell timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil. |
Y he aquí, para los trabajadores tus siervos, cortadores de madera, he dado veinte mil coros de trigo en grano, veinte mil coros de cebada, veinte mil batos de vino, y veinte mil batos de aceite. |

Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the Lord hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them. |
Et Hiramf, roi de Tyr, dit dans un écrit qu'il envoya à Salomon : À cause de l'amour de l'Éternel pour son peuple, il t'a établi roi sur eux. |

And Huram king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because Jehovah loved his people, he made thee king over them. |
Entonces Hiram rey de Tiro respondió por escrito que envió a Salomón: Porque Jehová amó a su pueblo, te ha puesto por rey sobre ellos. |

Huram said moreover, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the Lord, and an house for his kingdom. |
Et Hiramf dit : Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, qui a fait les cieux et la terre, de ce qu'il a donné au roi David un fils sage, doué de sens et d'intelligence, qui bâtira une maison à l'Éternel et une maison pour son royaume. |

And Huram said, Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, that made the heavens and the earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, who will build a house for Jehovah and a house for his kingdom. |
Además decía Hiram: Bendito sea Jehová el Dios de Israel, que hizo los cielos y la tierra, y que dio al rey David un hijo sabio, entendido, cuerdo y prudente, que edifique casa a Jehová, y casa para su reino. |

And now I have sent a cunning man, endued with understanding, of Huram my father’s, |
Et maintenant je t'envoie un homme habile, doué d'intelligence, Huram-Abig, |

Yo, pues, te he enviado un hombre hábil y entendido, Hiram-abi, |

The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father. |
fils d'une femme d'entre les filles de Dan, et dont le père est Tyrien, sachant travailler en or, et en argent, en airain, en fer, en pierres, et en bois, en pourpre, en bleu, et en byssus, et en cramoisi, et [sachant] faire toute sorte de gravureh et inventer toute sorte de choses qu'on lui donnera à inventer, avec tes hommes habiles et les hommes habiles de mon seigneur David, ton père. |

the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and whose father was a man of Tyre, experienced in working in gold, and in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in byssus, and in crimson, and for doing any manner of engraving, and for inventing every device which shall be put to him, besides thy skilful men, and the skilful men of my lord David thy father. |
hijo de una mujer de las hijas de Dan, mas su padre fue de Tiro; el cual sabe trabajar en oro, plata, bronce y hierro, en piedra y en madera, en púrpura y en azul, en lino y en carmesí; asimismo sabe esculpir toda clase de figuras, y sacar toda forma de diseño que se le pida, con tus hombres peritos, y con los de mi señor David tu padre. |

Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his servants: |
Et maintenant, que mon seigneur envoie à ses serviteurs le froment et l'orge, l'huile et le vin qu'il a dit ; |

Ahora, pues, envíe mi señor a sus siervos el trigo y cebada, y aceite y vino, que ha dicho; |

And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need: and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem. |
et nous, nous couperons des bois dans le Liban, autant que tu en auras besoin, et nous te les amènerons en radeaux sur la mer à Japhoi ; et toi, tu les feras monter à Jérusalem. |

And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need; and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa, and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem. |
y nosotros cortaremos en el Líbano la madera que necesites, y te la traeremos en balsas por el mar hasta Jope, y tú la harás llevar hasta Jerusalén. |

And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred. |
Et Salomon dénombra tous les hommes étrangers qui étaient dans le pays d'Israël, suivantj le dénombrement qu'en avait fait David, son père, et on en trouva cent cinquante-trois mille six cents. |

And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the account that David his father had taken of them, and there were found a hundred and fifty-three thousand six hundred. |
Y contó Salomón todos los hombres extranjeros que había en la tierra de Israel, después de haberlos ya contado David su padre, y fueron hallados ciento cincuenta y tres mil seiscientos. |

And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work. |
Et il en fit soixante-dix mille portefaix, et quatre-vingt mille tailleurs de pierres sur la montagne, et trois mille six cents surveillants pour faire travailler le peuple. |
