1	The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,	Les paroles de Néhémie, fils de Hacalia. And it came to pass in the month Chislev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the fortress,	Palabras de Nehemías hijo de Hacalías. Aconteció en el mes de Quisleu, en el año veinte, estando yo en Susa, capital del reino,
2	That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.	Hanani, l'un de mes frères, lui et quelques hommes vinrent de Juda ; et je les interrogeai sur les juifs, les réchappés qui étaient restés de la captivité, et au sujet de Jérusalem ;	that Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah. And I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, who were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.	que vino Hanani, uno de mis hermanos, con algunos varones de Judá, y les pregunté por los judíos que habían escapado, que habían quedado de la cautividad, y por Jerusalén.
3	And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.	et ils me dirent : Les restants, qui sont demeurés de reste de la captivité, là, dans la province, sont dans une grande misère et dans l'opprobre, et la muraille de Jérusalem est en ruine et ses portes sont brûlées par le feu.	And they said to me, Those who remain, that are left of the captivity there in the province, are in great affliction and reproach; and the wall of Jerusalem is in ruins, and its gates are burned with fire.	Y me dijeron: El remanente, los que quedaron de la cautividad, allí en la provincia, están en gran mal y afrenta, y el muro de Jerusalén derribado, y sus puertas quemadas a fuego.
4	And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,	Et lorsque j'entendis ces paroles, je m'assis et je pleurai ; et je menai deuil [plusieurs] jours, et je jeûnai, et je priaid le Dieu des cieux,	And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat and wept, and mourned for days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of the heavens,	Cuando oí estas palabras me senté y lloré, e hice duelo por algunos días, y ayuné y oré delante del Dios de los cielos.
5	And said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:	et je dis : Je te supplie, ô Éternel, Dieu des cieux, le ∗Dieue grand et terrible, qui gardes l'alliance et la bonté envers ceux qui t'aiment et qui gardent tes commandements !	and said, I beseech thee, Jehovah, God of the heavens, the great and terrible *God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and keep his commandments.	Y dije: Te ruego, oh Jehová, Dios de los cielos, fuerte, grande y temible, que guarda el pacto y la misericordia a los que le aman y guardan sus mandamientos;
6	Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.	Je te prie, que ton oreille soit attentive et que tes yeux soient ouverts, pour écouter la prière de ton serviteur que je fais aujourd'hui devant toi, jour et nuit, pour les fils d'Israël tes serviteurs, et la confession [que je fais] touchant les péchés des fils d'Israël, que nous avons commis contre toi ; moi aussi et la maison de mon père, nous avons péché.	Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, to hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, confessing the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned.	esté ahora atento tu oído y abiertos tus ojos para oír la oración de tu siervo, que hago ahora delante de ti día y noche, por los hijos de Israel tus siervos; y confieso los pecados de los hijos de Israel que hemos cometido contra ti; sí, yo y la casa de mi padre hemos pecado.
7	We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.	Nous avons très-mal agi contre toi, et nous n'avons pas gardé les commandements et les statuts et les ordonnances que tu as commandés à ton serviteur Moïse.	We have acted very perversely against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances that thou commandedst thy servant Moses.	En extremo nos hemos corrompido contra ti, y no hemos guardado los mandamientos, estatutos y preceptos que diste a Moisés tu siervo.
8	Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:	Souviens-toi, je te prie, de la parole que tu as commandée à ton serviteur Moïse, en disant : Si vous êtes infidèles, je vous disperserai parmi les peuples ;	Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye act unfaithfully, I will scatter you among the peoples;	Acuérdate ahora de la palabra que diste a Moisés tu siervo, diciendo: Si vosotros pecareis, yo os dispersaré por los pueblos;a
9	But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.	et si vous revenez à moi, et que vous gardiez mes commandements et que vous les pratiquiez, quand vos dispersésf seraient au bout des cieux, je les rassemblerai de là et je les ramènerai au lieu que j'ai choisi pour y faire demeurer mon nom.	but if ye return to me, and keep my commandments and do them, though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heavens, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.	pero si os volviereis a mí, y guardareis mis mandamientos, y los pusiereis por obra, aunque vuestra dispersión fuere hasta el extremo de los cielos, de allí os recogeré, y os traeré al lugar que escogí para hacer habitar allí mi nombre.b
10	Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.	Et ils sont tes serviteurs et ton peuple, que tu as rachetés par ta grande puissance et ta main forte.	And they are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power and by thy strong hand.	Ellos, pues, son tus siervos y tu pueblo, los cuales redimiste con tu gran poder, y con tu mano poderosa.
11	O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.	Je te supplie, Seigneur, que ton oreille soit attentive à la prière de ton serviteur, et à la prière de tes serviteurs qui prennent plaisir à craindre ton nom ; et fais réussir aujourd'hui ton serviteur, je te prie, et donne-lui de trouver miséricorde devant cet homme. Or j'étais échanson du roi.	O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants who delight to fear thy name; and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. Now I was the king's cupbearer.	Te ruego, oh Jehová, esté ahora atento tu oído a la oración de tu siervo, y a la oración de tus siervos, quienes desean reverenciar tu nombre; concede ahora buen éxito a tu siervo, y dale gracia delante de aquel varón. Porque yo servía de copero al rey.
