Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings. |
☆ Ainsi m'a fait voir le Seigneur, l'Éternel, et voici, il forma des sauterellesa, comme le regain commençait à pousser ; et voici, c'était le regain après la fauche du roi. |

Thus did the Lord Jehovah shew unto me; and behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth, and behold, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings. |
Así me ha mostrado Jehová el Señor: He aquí, él criaba langostas cuando comenzaba a crecer el heno tardío; y he aquí era el heno tardío después de las siegas del rey. |

And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord God, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. |
Et il arriva, lorsqu'elles eurent entièrement mangé l'herbe de la terre, que je dis : Seigneur Éternel, pardonne, je te prie ! Comment Jacob se relèvera-t-il ? car il est petit. |

And it came to pass, when they had wholly eaten the grass of the land, that I said, O Lord Jehovah, forgive, I beseech thee! How shall Jacob arise? for he is small. |
Y aconteció que cuando acabó de comer la hierba de la tierra, yo dije: Señor Jehová, perdona ahora; ¿quién levantará a Jacob? porque es pequeño. |

The Lord repented for this: It shall not be, saith the Lord. |
L'Éternel se repentit de cela : cela ne sera pas, dit l'Éternel. |

Jehovah repented for this: It shall not be, said Jehovah. |
Se arrepintió Jehová de esto: No será, dijo Jehová. |

Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord God called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part. |
Ainsi m'a fait voir le Seigneur, l'Éternel ; et voici, le Seigneur, l'Éternel, appela pour jugerb par le feu ; et il dévora le grand abîme, et il dévora l'héritagec. |

Thus did the Lord Jehovah shew unto me; and behold, the Lord Jehovah called to contend by fire; and it devoured the great deep, and ate up the inheritance. |
Jehová el Señor me mostró así: He aquí, Jehová el Señor llamaba para juzgar con fuego; y consumió un gran abismo, y consumió una parte de la tierra. |

Then said I, O Lord God, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. |
Et je dis : Seigneur Éternel, cesse, je te prie ! Comment Jacob se relèvera-t-il ? car il est petit. |

Y dije: Señor Jehová, cesa ahora; ¿quién levantará a Jacob? porque es pequeño. |

The Lord repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord God. |
L'Éternel se repentit de cela : cela aussi ne sera pas, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. |

Jehovah repented for this: This also shall not be, said the Lord Jehovah. |
Se arrepintió Jehová de esto: No será esto tampoco, dijo Jehová el Señor. |

Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand. |
Ainsi il m'a fait voir ; et voici, le Seigneur se tenait sur un mur [bâti] d'aplomb, et il avait un plomb à sa main. |

Thus did he shew unto me; and behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumb-line, with a plumb-line in his hand. |
Me enseñó así: He aquí el Señor estaba sobre un muro hecho a plomo, y en su mano una plomada de albañil. |

And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more: |
Et l'Éternel me dit : Que vois-tu, Amos ? Et je dis : Un plomb. Et le Seigneur dit : Voici, je place un plomb au milieu de mon peuple Israël ; je ne passerai plus par-dessus lui. |

And Jehovah said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumb-line. And the Lord said, Behold, I will set a plumb-line in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more. |
Jehová entonces me dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y dije: Una plomada de albañil. Y el Señor dijo: He aquí, yo pongo plomada de albañil en medio de mi pueblo Israel; no lo toleraré más. |

And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword. |
Et les hauts lieux d'Isaac seront désolés, et les sanctuaires d'Israël seront dévastés, et je me lèverai avec l'épée contre la maison de Jéroboam. |

Then Amaziah the priest of Beth–el sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words. |
Alors Amatsia, sacrificateur de Béthel, envoya à Jéroboam, roi d'Israël, disant : Amos a conspiré contre toi au milieu de la maison d'Israël ; le pays ne peut pas supporter toutes ses paroles. |

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words. |
Entonces el sacerdote Amasías de Bet-el envió a decir a Jeroboam rey de Israel: Amós se ha levantado contra ti en medio de la casa de Israel; la tierra no puede sufrir todas sus palabras. |

For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land. |
Car ainsi dit Amos : Jéroboam mourra par l'épée, et Israël sera certainement transporté de dessus sa terre. |

Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there: |
Et Amatsia dit à Amos : Voyant, va-t'en ; fuis au pays de Juda, et mange là du pain, et prophétise là, |

And Amaziah said unto Amos, Thou seer, go, flee away into the land of Judah, and eat bread there, and prophesy there. |
Y Amasías dijo a Amós: Vidente, vete, huye a tierra de Judá, y come allá tu pan, y profetiza allá; |

But prophesy not again any more at Beth–el: for it is the king’s chapel, and it is the king’s court. |
mais ne prophétise plus à Béthel, car c'est le sanctuaire du roi et la maison du royaume. |

Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit: |
Et Amos répondit et dit à Amatsia : Je n'étais pas prophète, et je n'étais pas fils de prophète ; mais je gardais le bétail, et je cueillais le fruit des sycomores ; |

And Amos answered and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was a herdman, and a gatherer of sycamore fruit. |
Entonces respondió Amós, y dijo a Amasías: No soy profeta, ni soy hijo de profeta, sino que soy boyero, y recojo higos silvestres. |

And the Lord took me as I followed the flock, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel. |
et l'Éternel me prit quand je suivais le menu bétail, et l'Éternel me dit : Va, prophétise à mon peuple Israël. |

Y Jehová me tomó de detrás del ganado, y me dijo: Ve y profetiza a mi pueblo Israel. |

Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac. |
Et maintenant, écoute la parole de l'Éternel : Tu me dis : Ne prophétise pas contre Israël, et ne profère pas des parolesd contre la maison d'Isaac. |

And now hear thou the word of Jehovah: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and utter not words against the house of Isaac. |
Ahora, pues, oye palabra de Jehová. Tú dices: No profetices contra Israel, ni hables contra la casa de Isaac. |

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land. |
C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit l'Éternel : Ta femme se prostituera dans la ville, et tes fils et tes filles tomberont par l'épée, et ta terre sera partagée au cordeau, et tu mourras dans une terre impure, et Israël sera certainement transporté de dessus sa terre. |

Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Thy wife shall be a harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided with the line; and thou shalt die in a land that is unclean; and Israel shall certainly go into captivity, out of his land. |
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Tu mujer será ramera en medio de la ciudad, y tus hijos y tus hijas caerán a espada, y tu tierra será repartida por suertes; y tú morirás en tierra inmunda, e Israel será llevado cautivo lejos de su tierra. |
