And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee. |

And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the Lord, in Hebron. |

And it came to pass at the end of forty years, that Absalom said to the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay in Hebron my vow which I have vowed to Jehovah. |
Al cabo de cuatro años, aconteció que Absalón dijo al rey: Yo te ruego me permitas que vaya a Hebrón, a pagar mi voto que he prometido a Jehová. |

For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the Lord shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the Lord. |
Car ton serviteur voua un vœu, quand je demeurais à Gueshur, en Syrie, disant : Si l'Éternel me fait retourner à Jérusalem, je servirai l'Éternel. |

For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode in Geshur in Syria, saying, If Jehovah shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve Jehovah. |
Porque tu siervo hizo voto cuando estaba en Gesur en Siria, diciendo: Si Jehová me hiciere volver a Jerusalén, yo serviré a Jehová. |

And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron. |

But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron. |

And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom. |

And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, from Giloh, while he offered the sacrifices. And the conspiracy gathered strength; and the people increased continually with Absalom. |

And there came a messenger to David, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom. |

And David said unto all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he overtake us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword. |
Et David dit à tous ses serviteurs qui étaient avec lui à Jérusalem : Levez-vous, et fuyons, car nous ne saurions échapper devant Absalom. Hâtez-vous de vous en aller, de peur qu'il ne se hâte, et ne nous atteigne, et ne fasse tomber le malheur sur nous, et ne frappe la ville par le tranchant de l'épée. |

And David said to all his servants that were with him at Jerusalem, Rise up and let us flee; for we shall not else escape from Absalom. Be quick to depart, lest he overtake us quickly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the city with the edge of the sword. |
Entonces David dijo a todos sus siervos que estaban con él en Jerusalén: Levantaos y huyamos, porque no podremos escapar delante de Absalón; daos prisa a partir, no sea que apresurándose él nos alcance, y arroje el mal sobre nosotros, y hiera la ciudad a filo de espada. |

And the king’s servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint. |

And all his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men which came after him from Gath, passed on before the king. |
Et tous ses serviteurs marchaientf à ses côtés ; et tous les Keréthiens, et tous les Peléthiens, et tous les Guitthiens, six cents hommes qui étaient venus de Gath à sa suite, marchaientf devant le roi. |

Then said the king to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore goest thou also with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king: for thou art a stranger, and also an exile. |
Et le roi dit à Itthaï, le Guitthien : Pourquoi viendrais-tu, toi aussi, avec nous ? Retourne-t'en, et demeure avec le roi ; car tu es étranger, et de plus tu as émigré dans le lieu que tu habitesg. |

And the king said to Ittai the Gittite, Why dost thou also go with us? return to thy place, and abide with the king; for thou art a foreigner, and besides, thou hast emigrated to the place where thou dwellest . |
Y dijo el rey a Itai geteo: ¿Para qué vienes tú también con nosotros? Vuélvete y quédate con el rey; porque tú eres extranjero, y desterrado también de tu lugar. |

Whereas thou camest but yesterday, should I this day make thee go up and down with us? seeing I go whither I may, return thou, and take back thy brethren: mercy and truth be with thee. |
Tu es venu hier, et aujourd'hui je te ferais errer avec nous çà et là ? Et quant à moi, je vais où je puis aller. Retourne-t'en, et emmène tes frères. Que la bonté et la vérité soient avec toih ! |

Thou didst come yesterday, and should I this day make thee go up and down with us, seeing I go whither I can? Return and take back thy brethren. Mercy and truth be with thee! |
Ayer viniste, ¿y he de hacer hoy que te muevas para ir con nosotros? En cuanto a mí, yo iré a donde pueda ir; tú vuélvete, y haz volver a tus hermanos; y Jehová te muestre amor permanente y fidelidad. |

And Ittai answered the king, and said, As the Lord liveth, and as my lord the king liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or life, even there also will thy servant be. |
Mais Itthaï répondit au roi, et dit : L'Éternel est vivant, et le roi, mon seigneur, est vivant, que dans le lieu où sera le roi, mon seigneur, soit pour la mort, soit pour la vie, là aussi sera ton serviteur ! |

And Ittai answered the king and said, As Jehovah liveth, and as my lord the king liveth, surely in what place my lord the king shall be, whether in death or life, even there also will thy servant be. |
Y respondió Itai al rey, diciendo: Vive Dios, y vive mi señor el rey, que o para muerte o para vida, donde mi señor el rey estuviere, allí estará también tu siervo. |

And David said to Ittai, Go and pass over. And Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones that were with him. |
Et David dit à Itthaï : Va, et passe ! Alors Itthaï, le Guitthien, passa avec tous ses hommes et tous les enfants qui étaient avec lui. |

And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness. |
Et tout le pays pleurait à haute voix, et tout le peuple passait ; et le roi passa le torrent du Cédron, et tout le peuple passa en face du chemin du désert. |

And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over; the king also himself passed over the torrent Kidron, and all the people passed over, towards the way of the wilderness. |
Y todo el país lloró en alta voz; pasó luego toda la gente el torrente de Cedrón; asimismo pasó el rey, y todo el pueblo pasó al camino que va al desierto. |

And lo Zadok also, and all the Levites were with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God: and they set down the ark of God; and Abiathar went up, until all the people had done passing out of the city. |
Et voici Tsadok aussi, et tous les Lévites avec lui, portant l'arche de l'alliance de Dieu, et ils posèrent l'arche de Dieu, et Abiathar monta, jusqu'à ce que tout le peuple eût achevé de passer hors de la ville. |

And behold, Zadok also, and all the Levites with him, bearing the ark of the covenant of God; and they set down the ark of God; and Abiathar went up, until all the people had passed completely out of the city. |
Y he aquí, también iba Sadoc, y con él todos los levitas que llevaban el arca del pacto de Dios; y asentaron el arca del pacto de Dios. Y subió Abiatar después que todo el pueblo hubo acabado de salir de la ciudad. |

And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation: |
Et le roi dit à Tsadok : Reporte l'arche de Dieu dans la ville ; si je trouve grâce aux yeux de l'Éternel, alors il me ramènera, et me la fera voir, elle et sa demeure. |

And the king said to Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city. If I shall find favour in the eyes of Jehovah, he will bring me again, and shew me it, and its habitation. |
Pero dijo el rey a Sadoc: Vuelve el arca de Dios a la ciudad. Si yo hallare gracia ante los ojos de Jehová, él hará que vuelva, y me dejará verla y a su tabernáculo. |

But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him. |
Et s'il dit ainsi : Je ne prends point de plaisir en toi ; — me voici, qu'il fasse de moi ce qui sera bon à ses yeux. |

The king said also unto Zadok the priest, Art not thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar. |
Et le roi dit à Tsadok, le sacrificateur : N'es-tu pas le voyant ? Retourne-t'en en paix à la ville, et Akhimaats, ton fils, et Jonathan, fils d'Abiathar, vos deux fils, avec vous. |

And the king said to Zadok the priest, Thou art the seer: return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar. |
Dijo además el rey al sacerdote Sadoc: ¿No eres tú el vidente? Vuelve en paz a la ciudad, y con vosotros vuestros dos hijos; Ahimaas tu hijo, y Jonatán hijo de Abiatar. |

Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to Jerusalem: and they tarried there. |

And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up. |
Et David monta par la montée des Oliviers, montant et pleurant ; et il avait la tête couverte et marchait nu-pieds, et tout le peuple qui était avec lui montait, chacun ayant sa tête couverte, et en montant ils pleuraient. |

And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O Lord, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness. |
Et on rapporta à David, en disant : Akhitophel est parmi les conjurés avec Absalom. Et David dit : Éternel ! je te prie, rends vain le conseil d'Akhitophel. |

And one told David saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. Then said David, Jehovah, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness. |
Y dieron aviso a David, diciendo: Ahitofel está entre los que conspiraron con Absalón. Entonces dijo David: Entorpece ahora, oh Jehová, el consejo de Ahitofel. |

And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head: |
Et David, étant parvenu au sommet où il se prosterna devant Dieu, il arriva que voici, Hushaï, l'Arkite, vint au-devant de lui, sa tunique déchirée et de la terre sur sa tête. |

And it came to pass, when David had come to the summit, where he worshipped God, that behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head. |
Cuando David llegó a la cumbre del monte para adorar allí a Dios, he aquí Husai arquita que le salió al encuentro, rasgados sus vestidos, y tierra sobre su cabeza. |

Unto whom David said, If thou passest on with me, then thou shalt be a burden unto me: |
Et David lui dit : Si tu passes avec moi, tu me seras à charge. |

Y le dijo David: Si pasares conmigo, me serás carga. |

But if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father’s servant hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel. |
Mais si tu retournes à la ville, et que tu dises à Absalom : Ô roi ! je serai ton serviteur ; comme j'ai été autrefois serviteur de ton père, maintenant aussi je serai ton serviteur, — alors tu annuleras pour moi le conseil d'Akhitophel. |

but if thou return to the city, and say to Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father's servant hitherto, so now will I be thy servant; then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel. |
Mas si volvieres a la ciudad, y dijeres a Absalón: Rey, yo seré tu siervo; como hasta aquí he sido siervo de tu padre, así seré ahora siervo tuyo; entonces tú harás nulo el consejo de Ahitofel. |

And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the priests? therefore it shall be, that what thing soever thou shalt hear out of the king’s house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests. |
Et les sacrificateurs Tsadok et Abiathar ne sont-ils pas là avec toi ? Et il arrivera que tout ce que tu entendras de la maison du roi, tu le rapporteras à Tsadok et à Abiathar, les sacrificateurs. |

And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the priests? and it shall be, that whatsoever thing thou shalt hear out of the king's house, thou shalt tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests. |
¿No estarán allí contigo los sacerdotes Sadoc y Abiatar? Por tanto, todo lo que oyeres en la casa del rey, se lo comunicarás a los sacerdotes Sadoc y Abiatar. |

Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz Zadok’s son, and Jonathan Abiathar’s son; and by them ye shall send unto me every thing that ye can hear. |
Voici, leurs deux fils, Akhimaats, [fils] de Tsadok, et Jonathan, [fils] d'Abiathar, sont là avec eux ; et vous me ferez savoiri par eux tout ce que vous aurez entendu. |
