And again the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah. |

For the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beer–sheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people. |
Et le roi dit à Joab, chef de l'armée, qui était avec lui : Parcours, je te prie, toutes les tribus d'Israël depuis Dan jusqu'à Beër-Shéba, et qu'on dénombre le peuple, afin que je sache le nombre du peuple. |

And the king said to Joab the captain of the host, who was with him, Go, I pray thee, through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, and count the people, that I may know the number of the people. |
Y dijo el rey a Joab, general del ejército que estaba con él: Recorre ahora todas las tribus de Israel, desde Dan hasta Beerseba, y haz un censo del pueblo, para que yo sepa el número de la gente. |

And Joab said unto the king, Now the Lord thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing? |
Et Joab dit au roi : Que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, ajoute au peuple cent fois autant qu'il y en a, et que les yeux du roi, mon seigneur, le voient ! Mais pourquoi le roi, mon seigneur, prend-il plaisir à cela ? |

And Joab said to the king, May Jehovah thy God even add to the people, how many soever they be, a hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it ; but why does my lord the king delight in this thing? |
Joab respondió al rey: Añada Jehová tu Dios al pueblo cien veces tanto como son, y que lo vea mi señor el rey; mas ¿por qué se complace en esto mi señor el rey? |

Notwithstanding the king’s word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the host. And Joab and the captains of the host went out from the presence of the king, to number the people of Israel. |
Mais la parole du roi prévalut sur Joab, et sur les chefs de l'armée ; et Joab et les chefs de l'armée sortirent de devant le roi pour dénombrer le peuple, Israël. |

But the king's word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the army. And Joab and the captains of the army went out from the presence of the king to count the people of Israel. |
Pero la palabra del rey prevaleció sobre Joab y sobre los capitanes del ejército. Salió, pues, Joab, con los capitanes del ejército, de delante del rey, para hacer el censo del pueblo de Israel. |

And they passed over Jordan, and pitched in Aroer, on the right side of the city that lieth in the midst of the river of Gad, and toward Jazer: |

Then they came to Gilead, and to the land of Tahtim–hodshi; and they came to Dan–jaan, and about to Zidon, |

And came to the strong hold of Tyre, and to all the cities of the Hivites, and of the Canaanites: and they went out to the south of Judah, even to Beer–sheba. |
Et ils vinrent à la ville forte de Tyr, et dans toutes les villes des Héviens et des Cananéens, et sortirent au midi de Juda, à Beër-Shéba. |

So when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days. |

And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men. |
Et Joab donna au roi le chiffre du recensement du peuple ; et il y avait d'Israël huit cent mille hommes de guerre tirant l'épée, et des hommes de Juda, cinq cent mille hommes. |

And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people to the king; and there were of Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men. |

And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the Lord, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O Lord, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly. |
Et le cœur de David le reprit, après qu'il eut dénombré le peuple ; et David dit à l'Éternel : J'ai grandement péché dans ce que j'ai fait ; et maintenant, ô Éternel, fais passer, je te prie, l'iniquité de ton serviteur, car j'ai agi très-follement. |

And David's heart smote him after he had numbered the people. And David said to Jehovah, I have sinned greatly in what I have done; and now, I beseech thee, Jehovah, put away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly. |
Después que David hubo censado al pueblo, le pesó en su corazón; y dijo David a Jehová: Yo he pecado gravemente por haber hecho esto; mas ahora, oh Jehová, te ruego que quites el pecado de tu siervo, porque yo he hecho muy neciamente. |

For when David was up in the morning, the word of the Lord came unto the prophet Gad, David’s seer, saying, |
Et le matin, quand David se leva, la parole de l'Éternel vint à Gad, le prophète, le voyant de David, disant : |

Y por la mañana, cuando David se hubo levantado, vino palabra de Jehová al profeta Gad, vidente de David, diciendo: |

Go and say unto David, Thus saith the Lord, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee. |
Va, et parle à David : Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Je t'impose [l'une de ces] trois choses ; choisis-en une, et je te la ferai. |

Go and say to David, Thus saith Jehovah: I impose on thee three things ; choose one of them that I may do it unto thee. |
Ve y di a David: Así ha dicho Jehová: Tres cosas te ofrezco; tú escogerás una de ellas, para que yo la haga. |

So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days’ pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me. |
Et Gad vint vers David, et lui rapporta [cela], et lui dit : La famine viendra-t-elle sur toi sept ans dans ton pays ; ou veux-tu fuir trois mois devant tes ennemis, et qu'ils te poursuivent ; ou y aura-t-il trois jours de peste dans ton pays ? Sache maintenant, et vois quelle parole je rapporterai à celui qui m'a envoyé. |

And Gad came to David, and told him, and said to him, Shall seven years of famine come to thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine adversaries while they pursue thee? or shall there be three days' pestilence in thy land? Now be aware and consider what word I shall bring again to him that sent me. |
Vino, pues, Gad a David, y se lo hizo saber, y le dijo: ¿Quieres que te vengan siete años de hambre en tu tierra? ¿o que huyas tres meses delante de tus enemigos y que ellos te persigan? ¿o que tres días haya peste en tu tierra? Piensa ahora, y mira qué responderé al que me ha enviado. |

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the Lord; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man. |
Et David dit à Gad : Je suis dans une grande détresse. Que nous tombions, je te prie, dans les mains de l'Éternel, car ses compassions sont grandes ; et que je ne tombe point dans la main des hommes. |

And David said to Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall, I pray thee, into the hand of Jehovah; for his mercies are great; but let me not fall into the hand of man. |
Entonces David dijo a Gad: En grande angustia estoy; caigamos ahora en mano de Jehová, porque sus misericordias son muchas, mas no caiga yo en manos de hombres. |

So the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beer–sheba seventy thousand men. |
Et l'Éternel envoya la peste en Israël depuis le matin jusqu'au temps assigné ; et il mourut du peuple, depuis Dan jusqu'à Beër-Shéba, soixante-dix mille hommes. |

And Jehovah sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the set time; and there died of the people from Dan even to Beer-sheba seventy thousand men. |
Y Jehová envió la peste sobre Israel desde la mañana hasta el tiempo señalado; y murieron del pueblo, desde Dan hasta Beerseba, setenta mil hombres. |

And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite. |
Et l'ange étendit sa main sur Jérusalem pour la détruire ; et l'Éternel se repentit de ce mal, et dit à l'ange qui détruisait parmi le peuple : Assez ! Retire maintenant ta main. Or l'ange de l'Éternel était près de l'aire d'Arauna, le Jébusien. |

And the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it; but Jehovah repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed among the people, It is enough: withdraw now thine hand. And the angel of Jehovah was by the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite. |
Y cuando el ángel extendió su mano sobre Jerusalén para destruirla, Jehová se arrepintió de aquel mal, y dijo al ángel que destruía al pueblo: Basta ahora; detén tu mano. Y el ángel de Jehová estaba junto a la era de Arauna jebuseo. |

And David spake unto the Lord when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father’s house. |
Et David, quand il vit l'ange qui frappait parmi le peuple, parla à l'Éternel, et dit : Voici, moi j'ai péché, et moi j'ai commis l'iniquité, mais ces brebis, qu'ont-elles fait ? Que ta main, je te prie, soit sur moi et sur la maison de mon père. |

And David spoke to Jehovah when he saw the angel that smote among the people, and said, Behold, it is I that have sinned, and it is I that have committed iniquity; but these sheep, what have they done? let thy hand, I pray thee, be on me, and on my father's house! |
Y David dijo a Jehová, cuando vio al ángel que destruía al pueblo: Yo pequé, yo hice la maldad; ¿qué hicieron estas ovejas? Te ruego que tu mano se vuelva contra mí, y contra la casa de mi padre. |

And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the Lord in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite. |
Et Gad vint vers David, ce jour-là, et lui dit : Monte, dresse un autel à l'Éternel dans l'aire d'Arauna, le Jébusien. |

And Gad came that day to David, and said to him, Go up, rear an altar to Jehovah in the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite. |
Y Gad vino a David aquel día, y le dijo: Sube, y levanta un altar a Jehová en la era de Arauna jebuseo. |

And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the Lord commanded. |
Et David monta selon la parole de Gad, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé. |

And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground. |
Et Arauna regarda, et il vit le roi et ses serviteurs qui passaient vers lui ; et Arauna sortit, et se prosterna devant le roi, le visage contre terre. |

And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on towards him; and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king with his face to the ground. |
y Arauna miró, y vio al rey y a sus siervos que venían hacia él. Saliendo entonces Arauna, se inclinó delante del rey, rostro a tierra. |

And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the Lord, that the plague may be stayed from the people. |
Et Arauna dit : Pourquoi le roi, mon seigneur, vient-il vers son serviteur ? Et David dit : Pour acheter de toi l'aire, pour bâtir un autel à l'Éternel, afin que la plaie soit arrêtée de dessus le peuple. |

And Araunah said, Why is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshing-floor of thee, to build an altar to Jehovah, that the plague may be stayed from the people. |
Y Arauna dijo: ¿Por qué viene mi señor el rey a su siervo? Y David respondió: Para comprar de ti la era, a fin de edificar un altar a Jehová, para que cese la mortandad del pueblo. |

And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood. |
Et Arauna dit à David : Que le roi, mon seigneur, prenne et offreb ce qui est bon à ses yeux. Vois, les bœufs seront pour l'holocauste, et les traîneaux à fouler et l'attirail des bœufs, pour le bois. |

And Araunah said to David, Let my lord the king take and offer up that which is good in his sight: see, here are oxen for the burnt-offering, and the threshing-sledges and implements of the oxen for wood. |
Y Arauna dijo a David: Tome y ofrezca mi señor el rey lo que bien le pareciere; he aquí bueyes para el holocausto, y los trillos y los yugos de los bueyes para leña. |

All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The Lord thy God accept thee. |
Tout cela, ô roi ! Arauna le donne au roi. Et Arauna dit au roi : L'Éternel, ton Dieu, veuille t'avoir pour agréable ! |

All these things, O king, doth Araunah give to the king. And Araunah said to the king, Jehovah thy God accept thee. |
Todo esto, oh rey, Arauna lo da al rey. Luego dijo Arauna al rey: Jehová tu Dios te sea propicio. |

And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. |
Et le roi dit à Arauna : Non, car certainement j'achèterai de toi pour un prix, et je n'offriraib pas à l'Éternel, mon Dieu, des holocaustes qui ne coûtent rien. Et David acheta l'aire et les bœufs pour cinquante sicles d'argent. |

And the king said to Araunah, No; but I will in any case buy them of thee at a price: neither will I offer up to Jehovah my God burnt-offerings without cost. And David bought the threshing-floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. |
Y el rey dijo a Arauna: No, sino por precio te lo compraré; porque no ofreceré a Jehová mi Dios holocaustos que no me cuesten nada. Entonces David compró la era y los bueyes por cincuenta siclos de plata. |

And David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel. |
Et David bâtit là un autel à l'Éternel, et offritb des holocaustes et des sacrifices de prospérités. Et l'Éternel fut propice au pays ; et la plaie fut arrêtée de dessus Israël. |

And David built there an altar to Jehovah, and offered up burnt-offerings and peace-offerings. And Jehovah was propitious to the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel. |
Y edificó allí David un altar a Jehová, y sacrificó holocaustos y ofrendas de paz; y Jehová oyó las súplicas de la tierra, y cesó la plaga en Israel. |
