Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the Lord. And the Lord answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites. |
☆ Et il y eut, du temps de David, une famine de trois ans, année après année. Et David rechercha la face de l'Éternel, et l'Éternel dit : C'est à cause de Saül et de sa maison de sang, parce qu'il a fait mourir les Gabaonites. |

And there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David inquired of Jehovah. And Jehovah said, It is for Saul, and for his house of blood, because he slew the Gibeonites. |
Hubo hambre en los días de David por tres años consecutivos. Y David consultó a Jehová, y Jehová le dijo: Es por causa de Saúl, y por aquella casa de sangre, por cuanto mató a los gabaonitas. |

And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.) |
Et le roi appela les Gabaonites et leur parla. (Or les Gabaonites n'étaient pas des fils d'Israël, mais du reste des Amoréens, et les fils d'Israël s'étaient obligés envers eux par serment ; et Saül, dans son zèle pour les fils d'Israël et de Juda, avait cherché à les frapper.) |

And the king called the Gibeonites, and spoke to them. (Now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remainder of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn to them; and Saul sought to smite them in his zeal for the children of Israel and Judah.) |

Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the Lord? |
Et David dit aux Gabaonites : Que ferai-je pour vous, et avec quoi ferai-je expiation, de sorte que vous bénissiez l'héritage de l'Éternel ? |

And David said to the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and with what shall I make atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of Jehovah? |
Dijo, pues, David a los gabaonitas: ¿Qué haré por vosotros, o qué satisfacción os daré, para que bendigáis la heredad de Jehová? |

And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you. |
Et les Gabaonites lui dirent : Il ne s'agit pas pour nous d'argent ou d'or à l'égard de Saül et de sa maison, ni qu'on fasse mourir personne en Israël. Et il dit : Ce que vous direz, je le ferai pour vous. |

And the Gibeonites said to him, As to Saul and his house, it is with us no question of receiving silver or gold, neither is it for us to have any man put to death in Israel. And he said, What ye say will I do for you. |
Y los gabaonitas le respondieron: No tenemos nosotros querella sobre plata ni sobre oro con Saúl y con su casa; ni queremos que muera hombre de Israel. Y él les dijo: Lo que vosotros dijereis, haré. |

And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel, |
Et ils dirent au roi : L'homme qui nous a consumés et qui a formé un plan contre nous afin de nous détruire, pour que nous ne puissions subsister dans tous les confins d'Israël… : |

And they said to the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in all the borders of Israel, |
Ellos respondieron al rey: De aquel hombre que nos destruyó, y que maquinó contra nosotros para exterminarnos sin dejar nada de nosotros en todo el territorio de Israel, |

Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the Lord in Gibeah of Saul, whom the Lord did choose. And the king said, I will give them. |
qu'on nous livre sept hommes de ses fils, et nous les pendrons devant l'Éternel à Guibha de Saül, l'élu de l'Éternel. Et le roi dit : Je les livrerai. |

let seven men of his sons be given up to us, and we will hang them up to Jehovah in Gibeah of Saul, the chosen of Jehovah. And the king said, I will give them . |
dénsenos siete varones de sus hijos, para que los ahorquemos delante de Jehová en Gabaa de Saúl, el escogido de Jehová. Y el rey dijo: Yo los daré. |

But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the Lord’s oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul. |
Et le roi épargna Mephibosheth, fils de Jonathan, fils de Saül, à cause du serment de l'Éternel, qui était entre eux, entre David et Jonathan, fils de Saül. |

But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of Jehovah's oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul. |
Y perdonó el rey a Mefi-boset hijo de Jonatán, hijo de Saúl, por el juramento de Jehová que hubo entre ellos, entre David y Jonatán hijo de Saúl.b |

But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite: |
Et le roi prit les deux fils de Ritspa, fille d'Aïa, qu'elle avait enfantés à Saül, Armoni et Mephibosheth, et les cinq fils de Micala, fille de Saül, qu'elle avait enfantés à Adriel, fils de Barzillaï, le Meholathite, |

And the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she had borne to Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of the sister of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she had borne to Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite; |
Pero tomó el rey a dos hijos de Rizpa hija de Aja, los cuales ella había tenido de Saúl, Armoni y Mefi-boset, y a cinco hijos de Micalc hija de Saúl, los cuales ella había tenido de Adriel hijo de Barzilai meholatita, |

And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the Lord: and they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest. |
et il les livra aux mains des Gabaonites, qui les pendirent sur la montagne, devant l'Éternel ; et les sept tombèrent ensemble, et on les fit mourir aux premiers jours de la moisson, au commencement de la moisson des orges. |

and he gave them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them on the hill before Jehovah. And they fell all seven together, and were put to death in the first days of the harvest, in the beginning of barley harvest. |
y los entregó en manos de los gabaonitas, y ellos los ahorcaron en el monte delante de Jehová; y así murieron juntos aquellos siete, los cuales fueron muertos en los primeros días de la siega, al comenzar la siega de la cebada. |

And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night. |
Et Ritspa, fille d'Aïa, prit un sacb et l'étendit sur le rocher, depuis le commencement de la moisson jusqu'à ce qu'il tombât de l'eau des cieux sur eux ; et elle ne permit pas aux oiseaux des cieux de se poser sur eux le jour, ni aux bêtes des champs la nuit. |

Then Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water poured on them out of the heavens, and suffered neither the fowl of the heavens to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night. |
Entonces Rizpa hija de Aja tomó una tela de cilicio y la tendió para sí sobre el peñasco, desde el principio de la siega hasta que llovió sobre ellos agua del cielo; y no dejó que ninguna ave del cielo se posase sobre ellos de día, ni fieras del campo de noche. |

And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done. |

And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh–gilead, which had stolen them from the street of Beth–shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa: |
Et David alla et prit les os de Saül et les os de Jonathan, son fils, de chez les habitantsc de Jabès de Galaad, qui les avaient dérobés de la place de Beth-Shan, où les Philistins les avaient suspendus le jour où les Philistins avaient frappé Saül à Guilboa. |

And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh-Gilead, who had stolen them from the open place of Beth-shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, the day the Philistines had smitten Saul in Gilboa; |
Entonces David fue y tomó los huesos de Saúl y los huesos de Jonatán su hijo, de los hombres de Jabes de Galaad, que los habían hurtado de la plaza de Bet-sán, donde los habían colgado los filisteos, cuando los filisteos mataron a Saúl en Gilboa;d |

And he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son; and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged. |

And the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son buried they in the country of Benjamin in Zelah, in the sepulchre of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. And after that God was intreated for the land. |
et on les enterra avec les os de Saül et de Jonathan, son fils, dans le pays de Benjamin, à Tséla, dans le sépulcre de Kis, son père. Et on fit tout ce que le roi avait commandé : et après cela, Dieu fut propice au pays. |

And they buried them with the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son in the country of Benjamin in Zela, in the sepulchre of Kish his father; and they did all that the king had commanded. And afterwards God was propitious to the land. |
Y sepultaron los huesos de Saúl y los de su hijo Jonatán en tierra de Benjamín, en Zela, en el sepulcro de Cis su padre; e hicieron todo lo que el rey había mandado. Y Dios fue propicio a la tierra después de esto. |

Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines: and David waxed faint. |
Et il y eut encore une guerre des Philistins contre Israël ; et David descendit, et ses serviteurs avec lui, et ils se battirent avec les Philistins ; et David était fatigué. |

And Ishbi–benob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword, thought to have slain David. |
Et Jishbi-Benob, qui était des enfants du géantd (le poids de sa lance était de trois cents siclese d'airain, et il était ceint d'une [armure] neuve), pensa frapper David. |

And Ishbibenob, who was of the children of Raphah--the weight of his lance was three hundred shekels of bronze, and he was girded with new armour --thought to smite David. |
E Isbi-benob, uno de los descendientes de los gigantes, cuya lanza pesaba trescientos siclos de bronce, y quien estaba ceñido con una espada nueva, trató de matar a David; |

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David sware unto him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the light of Israel. |
Et Abishaï, fils de Tseruïa, le secourut, et frappa le Philistin et le tua. Alors les hommes de David lui jurèrent, disant : Tu ne sortiras plus avec nous pour la guerre, et tu n'éteindras pas la lampe d'Israël. |

And Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him, and smote the Philistine and killed him. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle, that thou quench not the lamp of Israel. |
mas Abisai hijo de Sarvia llegó en su ayuda, e hirió al filisteo y lo mató. Entonces los hombres de David le juraron, diciendo: Nunca más de aquí en adelante saldrás con nosotros a la batalla, no sea que apagues la lámpara de Israel. |

And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph, which was of the sons of the giant. |
Et il arriva, après cela, qu'il y eut encore un combat, à Gob, avec les Philistins. Alors Sibbecaï, le Hushathite, frappa Saph, qui était un des enfants du géant. |

And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines, at Gob; then Sibbechai the Hushathite smote Saph, who was of the children of Raphah. |
Otra segunda guerra hubo después en Gob contra los filisteos; entonces Sibecai husatita mató a Saf, quien era uno de los descendientes de los gigantes. |

And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaare–oregim, a Beth–lehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver’s beam. |
Et il y eut encore un combat, à Gob, avec les Philistins : et Elkhanan, fils de Jaaré-Oreguim, le Bethléhémite, frappa Goliath, le Guitthien ; et le bois de sa lance était comme l'ensouple des tisserands. |

And there was again a battle at Gob with the Philistines; and Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Bethlehemite, smote Goliath the Gittite; now the shaft of his spear was like a weaver's beam. |
Hubo otra vez guerra en Gob contra los filisteos, en la cual Elhanán, hijo de Jaare-oregim de Belén, mató a Goliat geteo, el asta de cuya lanza era como el rodillo de un telar. |

And there was yet a battle in Gath, where was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant. |
Et il y eut encore un combat, à Gath : et il y avait [là] un homme de haute stature qui avait six doigts aux mains et six orteils aux pieds, en toutf vingt-quatre ; et lui aussi était né au géant. |

And when he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimea the brother of David slew him. |
Et il outragea Israël ; mais Jonathan, fils de Shimha, frère de David, le frappa. |
