But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain. |
Mais Jehoshéba, fille du roi Joram, sœur d'Achazia, prit Joas, fils d'Achazia, et le déroba du milieu des fils du roi qu'on mettait à mort [et le cacha], lui et sa nourrice, dans la chambre à coucher ; et on le cacha de devant Athalie, et il ne fut pas mis à mort. |

And the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the Lord, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the Lord, and shewed them the king’s son. |
Et la septième année,b Jehoïada envoya, et prit les chefs de centaines des gardes et des coureurs ; et il les fit entrer vers lui dans la maison de l'Éternel, et fit un pacte avec eux et les fit jurer dans la maison de l'Éternel, et leur montra le fils du roi. |

Mas al séptimo año envió Joiada y tomó jefes de centenas, capitanes, y gente de la guardia, y los metió consigo en la casa de Jehová, e hizo con ellos alianza, juramentándolos en la casa de Jehová; y les mostró el hijo del rey. |

And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king’s house; |
Et il leur commanda, disant : C'est ici ce que vous ferez : un tiers d'entre vous qui entrez le [jour du] sabbat, fera la garde de la maison du roi ; |

And he commanded them saying, This is the thing which ye shall do: a third part of you, that come in on the sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king's house; |
Y les mandó diciendo: Esto es lo que habéis de hacer: la tercera parte de vosotros tendrá la guardia de la casa del rey el día de reposo.a |

And a third part shall be at the gate of Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, that it be not broken down. |
et un tiers sera à la porte de Sur ; et un tiers sera à la porte qui est derrière les coureurs ; et vous veillerez à la garde de la maison, pour tenir à distance [tout étranger]. |

Otra tercera parte estará a la puerta de Shur, y la otra tercera parte a la puerta del postigo de la guardia; así guardaréis la casa, para que no sea allanada. |

And two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of the Lord about the king. |
Et les deux tiers d'entre vous, tous ceux qui sortent le [jour du] sabbat, feront la garde de la maison de l'Éternel, auprès du roi. |

And ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in. |
Et vous entourerez le roi de tous côtés, chacun ses armes à la main ; et celui qui entrera dans les rangs sera mis à mort ; et soyez avec le roi quand il sortira et quand il entrera. |

And ye shall encompass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and he that comes within the ranks shall be put to death; and ye shall be with the king when he goes out and when he comes in. |
Y estaréis alrededor del rey por todos lados, teniendo cada uno sus armas en las manos; y cualquiera que entrare en las filas, sea muerto. Y estaréis con el rey cuando salga, y cuando entre. |

And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest. |
Et les chefs de centaines firent selon tout ce que Jehoïada, le sacrificateur, avait commandé ; et ils prirent chacun ses hommes, ceux qui entraient le [jour du] sabbat et ceux qui sortaient le [jour du] sabbat ; et ils vinrent auprès de Jehoïada, le sacrificateur. |

And the captains of the hundreds did according to all that Jehoiada the priest commanded; and they took every man his men, those that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go forth on the sabbath, and they came to Jehoiada the priest. |
Los jefes de centenas, pues, hicieron todo como el sacerdote Joiada les mandó; y tomando cada uno a los suyos, esto es, los que entraban el día de reposoc y los que salían el día de reposo,d vinieron al sacerdote Joiada. |

And to the captains over hundreds did the priest give king David’s spears and shields, that were in the temple of the Lord. |
Et le sacrificateur donna aux chefs de centaines les lances et les boucliers qui avaient appartenu au roi David, et qui étaient dans la maison de l'Éternel. |

And the priest gave to the captains of the hundreds king David's spears and shields which were in the house of Jehovah. |
Y el sacerdote dio a los jefes de centenas las lanzas y los escudos que habían sido del rey David, que estaban en la casa de Jehová. |

And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple. |
Et les coureurs se tinrent là, chacun ses armes à la main, depuis le côté droit de la maison jusqu'au côté gauche de la maison, vers l'autel et vers la maison, auprès du roi, tout autour. |

And the couriers stood by the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, toward the altar and the house. |
Y los de la guardia se pusieron en fila, teniendo cada uno sus armas en sus manos, desde el lado derecho de la casa hasta el lado izquierdo, junto al altar y el templo, en derredor del rey. |

And he brought forth the king’s son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king. |
Et on fit sortir le fils du roi, et on mit sur lui la couronne et le témoignage ; et ils le firent roi, et l'oignirent, et frappèrent des mains, et dirent : Vive le roi ! |

And when Athaliah heard the noise of the guard and of the people, she came to the people into the temple of the Lord. |

And when she looked, behold, the king stood by a pillar, as the manner was, and the princes and the trumpeters by the king, and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets: and Athaliah rent her clothes, and cried, Treason, Treason. |
Et elle regarda, et voici, le roi se tenait sur l'estrade, suivant l'usage, et les chefs et les trompettes étaient auprès du roi, et tout le peuple du pays se réjouissait et sonnait des trompettes. Et Athalie déchira ses vêtements, et s'écria : Conspiration ! Conspiration ! |

And she looked, and behold, the king stood on the dais, according to the custom, and the princes and the trumpeters were by the king; and all the people of the land rejoiced, and blew with trumpets. And Athaliah rent her garments and cried, Conspiracy! Conspiracy! |
Y cuando miró, he aquí que el rey estaba junto a la columna, conforme a la costumbre, y los príncipes y los trompeteros junto al rey; y todo el pueblo del país se regocijaba, y tocaban las trompetas. Entonces Atalía, rasgando sus vestidos, clamó a voz en cuello: ¡Traición, traición! |

But Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the host, and said unto them, Have her forth without the ranges: and him that followeth her kill with the sword. For the priest had said, Let her not be slain in the house of the Lord. |
Et Jehoïada, le sacrificateur, commanda aux chefs de centaines qui étaient préposés sur l'armée, et leur dit : Faites-la sortir en dehors des rangs, et celui qui la suivra mettez-le à mort par l'épée ; car le sacrificateur dit : Qu'elle ne soit pas mise à mort dans la maison de l'Éternel. |

And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds that were set over the host, and said to them, Lead her forth without the ranks; and whosoever follows her, slay with the sword; for the priest said, Let her not be put to death in the house of Jehovah. |
Mas el sacerdote Joiada mandó a los jefes de centenas que gobernaban el ejército, y les dijo: Sacadla fuera del recinto del templo, y al que la siguiere, matadlo a espada. (Porque el sacerdote dijo que no la matasen en el templo de Jehová.) |

And they laid hands on her; and she went by the way by the which the horses came into the king’s house: and there was she slain. |
Et ils lui firent place ; et elle alla par le chemin de l'entrée des chevaux dans la maison du roi, et là elle fut mise à mort. |

And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the Lord. |
Et tout le peuple du pays entra dans la maison de Baal, et ils la démolirent ; ses autels et ses images, ils les brisèrent entièrement ; et ils tuèrent devant les autels Matthan, sacrificateur de Baal. Et le sacrificateur établit des gardes sur la maison de l'Éternel. |

And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the Lord, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king’s house. And he sat on the throne of the kings. |
Et il prit les chefs de centaines, et les gardes, et les coureurs, et tout le peuple du pays, et ils firent descendre le roi de la maison de l'Éternel, et entrèrent dans la maison du roi par le chemin de la porte des coureurs ; et il s'assit sur le trône des rois. |

And he took the captains of the hundreds, and the bodyguard, and the couriers, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of Jehovah, and came by the way through the gate of the couriers into the king's house. And he sat upon the throne of the kings. |
Después tomó a los jefes de centenas, los capitanes, la guardia y todo el pueblo de la tierra, y llevaron al rey desde la casa de Jehová, y vinieron por el camino de la puerta de la guardia a la casa del rey; y se sentó el rey en el trono de los reyes. |

And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was in quiet: and they slew Athaliah with the sword beside the king’s house. |
