To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. ☆ Au chef de musique. Des fils de Coré. Psaume. To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm. Al músico principal. Salmo de los hijos de Coré.
1 Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: Vous, tous les peuples, entendez ceci ; vous, tous les habitants du monde, prêtez l'oreille ; Hear this, all ye peoples; give ear, all inhabitants of the world: Oíd esto, pueblos todos;
Escuchad, habitantes todos del mundo,
2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together. Fils des gens du commun, et fils des grands, le riche et le pauvre pareillement : Both men of low and men of high degree, rich and poor alike. Así los plebeyos como los nobles,
El rico y el pobre juntamente.
3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. Ma bouche dira des paroles de sagessea, et la méditation de mon cœur sera [pleine] d'intelligence ; My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding: Mi boca hablará sabiduría,
Y el pensamiento de mi corazón inteligencia.
4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp. Je prêterai l'oreille au discours sentencieux, j'exposerai mon énigme sur la harpe. I will incline mine ear to a parable, I will open my riddle upon the harp. Inclinaré al proverbio mi oído;
Declararé con el arpa mi enigma.
5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about? Wherefore should I fear in the days of adversity, when the iniquity of my supplanters encompasseth me?
6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; Ils se confient en leurs biens et se glorifient en l'abondance de leurs richesses…. They depend upon their wealth, and boast themselves in the abundance of their riches. ...
7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: Un homme ne pourra en aucune manière racheter son frère, ni donner à Dieu sa rançon, None can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him, Ninguno de ellos podrá en manera alguna redimir al hermano,
Ni dar a Dios su rescate
8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) (Car précieux est le rachat de leur âme, et il faut qu'il y renonce à jamais,) (For the redemption of their soul is costly, and must be given up for ever,) (Porque la redención de su vida es de gran precio,
Y no se logrará jamás),
9 That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption. That he should still live perpetually, and not see corruption. Para que viva en adelante para siempre,
Y nunca vea corrupción.
10 For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others. Car il voit que les sages meurent, que le sot et l'insensé périssent pareillement et laissent leurs biens à d'autres. For he seeth that wise men die; all alike, the fool and the brutish perish, and they leave their wealth to others. Pues verá que aun los sabios mueren;
11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. Their inward thought is, that their houses are for ever, their dwelling-places from generation to generation: they call the lands after their own names.
Y sus habitaciones para generación y generación;
Dan sus nombres a sus tierras.
12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish. Pourtant l'homme qui est en honneur ne dure pas ; il est semblable aux bêtes qui périssent. Nevertheless, man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish. Mas el hombre no permanecerá en honra;
Es semejante a las bestias que perecen.
13 This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah. Ce chemin qu'ils tiennent est leur folie ; mais ceux qui viennent après eux prennent plaisir aux propos de leur bouche. Sélah. This their way is their folly, yet they that come after them delight in their sayings. Selah. Este su camino es locura;
Selah
14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. Like sheep are they laid in Sheol: Death feedeth on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their comeliness shall be for Sheol to consume, that there be no habitation for them.
Y los rectos se enseñorearán de ellos por la mañana;
15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol: for he will receive me. Selah.
Selah
16 Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; Ne crains pas quand un homme s'enrichit, quand la gloire de sa maison s'accroît ; Be not afraid when a man becometh rich, when the glory of his house is increased: No temas cuando se enriquece alguno,
Cuando aumenta la gloria de su casa;
17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. Car, lorsqu'il mourra, il n'emportera rien ; sa gloire ne descendra pas après lui, For when he dieth, he shall carry nothing away; his glory shall not descend after him. Porque cuando muera no llevará nada,
Ni descenderá tras él su gloria.
18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself. Quoique pendant sa vie il bénît son âme (et on te louera, si tu te fais du bien), Though he blessed his soul in his lifetime, --and men will praise thee when thou doest well to thyself, -- Aunque mientras viva, llame dichosa a su alma,
Y sea loado cuando prospere,
19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light. It shall go to the generation of his fathers: they shall never see light. Entrará en la generación de sus padres,
Y nunca más verá la luz.
20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish. Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
