To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the Lord, who spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, ☆ Au chef de musique. Du serviteur de l'Éternel, de David, qui adressa à l'Éternel les paroles de ce cantique, le jour où l'Éternel l'eut délivré de la main de tous ses ennemis, et de la main de Saül. Et il dit : To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David, the servant of Jehovah, who spoke to Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies and out of the hand of Saul. And he said, Al músico principal. Salmo de David, siervo de Jehová, el cual dirigió a Jehová las palabras de este cántico el día que le libró Jehová de mano de todos sus enemigos, y de mano de Saúl. Entonces dijo:
1 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. Je t'aimerai, ô Éternel, ma force ! I will love thee, O Jehovah, my strength. Te amo, oh Jehová, fortaleza mía.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Éternel, mon rocher, et mon lieu fort, et celui qui me délivre ! Mon ∗Dieu, mon rocher, en qui je me confie, mon bouclier et la corne de mon salut, ma haute retraite ! Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my *God, my rock, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. Jehová, roca mía y castillo mío, y mi libertador;
Dios mío, fortaleza mía, en él confiaré;
Mi escudo, y la fuerza de mi salvación, mi alto refugio.
3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Je crierai à l'Éternel, qui est digne d'être loué, et je serai sauvé de mes ennemis. I will call upon Jehovah, who is to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Invocaré a Jehová, quien es digno de ser alabado,

4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. ✱ Les cordeaux de la mort m'ont environné, et les torrents de Béliala m'ont fait peur ; The bands of death encompassed me, and torrents of Belial made me afraid. Me rodearon ligaduras de muerte,
Y torrentes de perversidad me atemorizaron.
5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. Les cordeaux du shéolb m'ont entouré, les filets de la mort m'ont surpris : The bands of Sheol surrounded me, the cords of death encountered me. Ligaduras del Seol me rodearon,
Me tendieron lazos de muerte.
6 In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. Dans ma détresse j'ai invoqué l'Éternel, et j'ai crié à mon Dieu : de son temple, il a entendu ma voix, et mon cri est parvenu devant lui à ses oreilles. In my distress I called upon Jehovah, and I cried out to my God; he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, into his ears. En mi angustia invoqué a Jehová,
Y clamé a mi Dios.
Él oyó mi voz desde su templo,
Y mi clamor llegó delante de él, a sus oídos.
7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. ✱ Alors la terre fut ébranlée, et trembla, et les fondements des montagnes furent secoués et furent ébranlés, parce qu'il était irrité. Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains trembled and shook, because he was wroth. La tierra fue conmovida y tembló;
Se conmovieron los cimientos de los montes,
Y se estremecieron, porque se indignó él.
8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. Une fumée montait de ses narines, et un feu sortant de sa bouche dévorait ; des charbons en jaillissaient embrasés. Y de su boca fuego consumidor;

9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. Et il abaissa les cieux, et descendit ; et il y avait une obscurité profonde sous ses pieds. And he bowed the heavens, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. Inclinó los cielos, y descendió;
Y había densas tinieblas debajo de sus pies.
10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. Il était monté sur un chérubin, et volait, et il planait sur les ailes du vent. And he rode upon a cherub and did fly; yea, he flew fast upon the wings of the wind. Cabalgó sobre un querubín, y voló;

11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. Il mit les ténèbres pour sa demeure secrète comme sa tente autour de lui, des ténèbres d'eaux, d'épaisses nuées de l'air. He made darkness his secret place, his tent round about him: darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies. Puso tinieblas por su escondedero, por cortina suya alrededor de sí;
Oscuridad de aguas, nubes de los cielos.
12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire. De la splendeur qui était devant lui, ses nuées épaisses passaient, de la grêle et des charbons de feu. From the brightness before him his thick clouds passed forth: hail and coals of fire. Por el resplandor de su presencia, sus nubes pasaron;
Granizo y carbones ardientes.
13 The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire. Et l'Éternel tonna dans les cieux, et le Très-haut fit retentir sa voix, — de la grêle et des charbons de feu. And Jehovah thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered his voice: hail and coals of fire. Tronó en los cielos Jehová,
Y el Altísimo dio su voz;
Granizo y carbones de fuego.
14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them. Et il tira ses flèches et dispersa [mes ennemis] c ; il lança des éclairsd et les mit en déroute. And he sent his arrows, and scattered mine enemies ; and he shot forth lightnings, and discomfited them. Envió sus saetas, y los dispersó;
Lanzó relámpagos, y los destruyó.
15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. Alors les lits des eaux parurent, et les fondements du monde furent mis à découvert, quand tu les tanças, ô Éternel, par le souffle du vent de tes narines. And the beds of the waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were uncovered at thy rebuke, Jehovah, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. Entonces aparecieron los abismos de las aguas,
Y quedaron al descubierto los cimientos del mundo,
A tu reprensión, oh Jehová,
Por el soplo del aliento de tu nariz.
16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. D'en haut il étendit [sa main], il me prit, il me tira des grandes eaux ; He reached forth from above, he took me, he drew me out of great waters: Envió desde lo alto; me tomó,
Me sacó de las muchas aguas.
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. Il me délivra de mon puissant ennemi et de ceux qui me haïssaient ; car ils étaient plus forts que moi. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me; for they were mightier than I. Me libró de mi poderoso enemigo,
Y de los que me aborrecían; pues eran más fuertes que yo.
18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay. Ils m'avaient surpris au jour de ma calamité, mais l'Éternel fut mon appui. They encountered me in the day of my calamity, but Jehovah was my stay. Me asaltaron en el día de mi quebranto,
Mas Jehová fue mi apoyo.
19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. ✱ Et il me fit sortir au large, il me délivra, parce qu'il prenait son plaisir en moi. And he brought me forth into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. Me sacó a lugar espacioso;
Me libró, porque se agradó de mí.
20 The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. L'Éternel m'a récompensé selon ma justice, il m'a rendu selon la pureté de mes mains ; Jehovah hath rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. Jehová me ha premiado conforme a mi justicia;
Conforme a la limpieza de mis manos me ha recompensado.
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God. Car j'ai gardé les voies de l'Éternel, et je ne me suis point méchamment détourné de mon Dieu. For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, and have not wickedly departed from my God. Porque yo he guardado los caminos de Jehová,
Y no me aparté impíamente de mi Dios.
22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me. Car toutes ses ordonnances ont été devant moi ; et ses statuts, je ne les ai pas écartés de moi. For all his ordinances were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me; Pues todos sus juicios estuvieron delante de mí,
Y no me he apartado de sus estatutos.
23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity. Et j'ai été parfaite avec lui, et je me suis gardé de mon iniquité. And I was upright with him, and kept myself from mine iniquity. Fui recto para con él, y me he guardado de mi maldad,
24 Therefore hath the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. Et l'Éternel m'a rendu selon ma justice, selon la pureté de mes mains devant ses yeux. And Jehovah hath recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight. Por lo cual me ha recompensado Jehová conforme a mi justicia;
Conforme a la limpieza de mis manos delante de su vista.
25 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; Avec celui qui use de grâce, tu uses de grâce ; avec l'homme parfait, tu te montres parfait ; With the gracious thou dost shew thyself gracious; with the upright man thou dost shew thyself upright; Con el misericordioso te mostrarás misericordioso,
Y recto para con el hombre íntegro.
26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. Avec celui qui est pur, tu te montres pur ; et avec le pervers, tu es roidef. With the pure thou dost shew thyself pure; and with the perverse thou dost shew thyself contrary. Limpio te mostrarás para con el limpio,
Y severo serás para con el perverso.
27 For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks. Car toi tu sauveras le peuple affligé, et tu abaisseras les yeux hautains. For it is thou that savest the afflicted people; but the haughty eyes wilt thou bring down. Porque tú salvarás al pueblo afligido,
Y humillarás los ojos altivos.
28 For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. Car c'est toi qui fais luire ma lampe : l'Éternel, mon Dieu, fait resplendir mes ténèbres. For it is thou that makest my lamp to shine: Jehovah my God enlighteneth my darkness. Tú encenderás mi lámpara;
Jehová mi Dios alumbrará mis tinieblas.
29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. Car, par toi, je courrai au travers d'une troupe, et, par mon Dieu, je franchirai une muraille. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall. Contigo desbarataré ejércitos,
Y con mi Dios asaltaré muros.
30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. ✱ Quant à ∗Dieu, sa voie est parfaite ; la parole de l'Éternel est affinée ; il est un bouclier à tous ceux qui se confient en lui. As for *God, his way is perfect; the word of Jehovah is tried: he is a shield to all that trust in him. En cuanto a Dios, perfecto es su camino,
Y acrisolada la palabra de Jehová;
Escudo es a todos los que en él esperan.
31 For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God? Car qui est †Dieug, hormis l'Éternel, et qui est un rocher, si ce n'est notre Dieu, For who is +God save Jehovah? and who is a rock if not our God? Porque ¿quién es Dios sino solo Jehová?
¿Y qué roca hay fuera de nuestro Dios?
32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. Le ∗Dieu qui me ceint de force et qui rend ma voie parfaite ? — The *God who girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect, Dios es el que me ciñe de poder,
Y quien hace perfecto mi camino;
33 He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places. Qui rend mes pieds pareils à ceux des biches, et me fait tenir debout sur mes lieux élevés ; Who maketh my feet like hinds' feet , and setteth me upon my high places; Quien hace mis pies como de ciervas,a
Y me hace estar firme sobre mis alturas;
34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Qui enseigne mes mains à combattre, et mes bras bandenth un arc d'airain. Who teacheth my hands to war, and mine arms bend a bow of brass; Quien adiestra mis manos para la batalla,
Para entesar con mis brazos el arco de bronce.
35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Et tu m'as donné le bouclier de ton salut, et ta droite m'a soutenu, et ta débonnaireté m'a agrandi. And thou didst give me the shield of thy salvation, and thy right hand held me up; and thy condescending gentleness hath made me great. Me diste asimismo el escudo de tu salvación;
Tu diestra me sustentó,
Y tu benignidad me ha engrandecido.
36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip. Tu as mis au large mes pas sous moi, et les chevilles de mes pieds n'ont pas chancelé. Thou didst enlarge my steps under me, and mine ankles have not wavered. Ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí,
Y mis pies no han resbalado.
37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed. J'ai poursuivi mes ennemis, et je les ai atteints ; et je ne m'en suis pas retourné que je ne les aie consumés. I pursued mine enemies, and overtook them; and I turned not again till they were consumed. Perseguí a mis enemigos, y los alcancé,
Y no volví hasta acabarlos.
38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet. Je les ai transpercés, et ils n'ont pu se relever ; ils sont tombés sous mes pieds. I crushed them, and they were not able to rise: they fell under my feet. Los herí de modo que no se levantasen;
Cayeron debajo de mis pies.
39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. Et tu m'as ceint de force pour le combat ; tu as courbé sous moi ceux qui s'élevaient contre moi. And thou girdedst me with strength to battle; thou didst subdue under me those that rose up against me. Pues me ceñiste de fuerzas para la pelea;
Has humillado a mis enemigos debajo de mí.
40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me. Et tu as fait que mes ennemis m'ont tourné le dos ; et ceux qui me haïssaient, je les ai détruits. And mine enemies didst thou make to turn their backs unto me, and those that hated me I destroyed. Has hecho que mis enemigos me vuelvan las espaldas,
Para que yo destruya a los que me aborrecen.
41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the Lord, but he answered them not. Ils criaient, et il n'y avait point de sauveur ; [ils criaient] à l'Éternel, et il ne leur a pas répondu. They cried, and there was none to save; --unto Jehovah, and he answered them not. Clamaron, y no hubo quien salvase;
Aun a Jehová, pero no los oyó.
42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. Et je les ai brisés menu comme la poussière devant le vent ; je les ai jetés loin comme la boue des rues. And I did beat them small as dust before the wind; I did cast them out as the mire of the streets. Y los molí como polvo delante del viento;
Los eché fuera como lodo de las calles.
43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me. ✱ Tu m'as délivré des débats du peuple ; tu m'as établi chef des nations ; un peuple que je ne connaissais pas me servira. Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; thou hast made me the head of the nations: a people I knew not doth serve me. Me has librado de las contiendas del pueblo;
Me has hecho cabeza de las naciones;
Pueblo que yo no conocía me sirvió.
44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me. Dès qu'ils ont entendu de leur oreille, ils m'ont obéi ; les fils de l'étranger se sont soumis à moi en dissimulanti. At the hearing of the ear, they obey me: strangers come cringing unto me. Al oír de mí me obedecieron;
Los hijos de extraños se sometieron a mí.
45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places. Les fils de l'étranger ont dépéri, et ils sont sortis en tremblant de leurs lieux cachésj. Strangers have faded away, and they come trembling forth from their close places. Los extraños se debilitaron
Y salieron temblando de sus encierros.
46 The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. ✱ L'Éternel est vivant ; et que mon Rocher soit béni ! Et que le Dieu de mon salut soit exalté, Jehovah liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation, Viva Jehová, y bendita sea mi roca,
Y enaltecido sea el Dios de mi salvación;
47 It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. Le ∗Dieu qui m'a donné des vengeances, et qui m'a assujetti les peuples, The *God who hath avenged me, and hath subjected the peoples to me; El Dios que venga mis agravios,
Y somete pueblos debajo de mí;
48 He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man. Qui m'a délivré de mes ennemis ! Même tu m'as élevé au-dessus de ceux qui s'élèvent contre moi, tu m'as délivré de l'homme violent. Who hath delivered me from mine enemies: yea, thou hast lifted me up above them that rose up against me; from the man of violence hast thou delivered me. El que me libra de mis enemigos,
Y aun me eleva sobre los que se levantan contra mí;
Me libraste de varón violento.
49 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. C'est pourquoi, Éternel ! je te célébrerai parmi les nations, et je chanterai des cantiques à [la gloire de] ton nom. Therefore will I give thanks to thee, Jehovah, among the nations, and will sing psalms to thy name. Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las naciones, oh Jehová,
Y cantaré a tu nombre.b
50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore. [C'est lui] qui a donné de grandes délivrances à son roi, et qui use de bonté envers son oint, envers David, et envers sa semence, à toujours. It is he who giveth great deliverances to his king, and sheweth loving-kindness to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore. Grandes triunfos da a su rey,
Y hace misericordia a su ungido,
A David y a su descendencia, para siempre.
