1 Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. À toi Éternel, j'élève mon âme. Unto thee, Jehovah, do I lift up my soul. A ti, oh Jehová, levantaré mi alma.
2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Mon Dieu, en toi j'ai mis ma confiance ; que je ne sois pas confus, que mes ennemis ne triomphent pas de moi. My God, I confide in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Dios mío, en ti confío;
No sea yo avergonzado,
No se alegren de mí mis enemigos.
3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Non, aucun de ceux qui s'attendent à toi ne sera confus ; ceux-là seront confus qui agissent perfidement sans cause. Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed: they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause. Ciertamente ninguno de cuantos esperan en ti será confundido;
Serán avergonzados los que se rebelan sin causa.
4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. ✱ Fais-moi connaître tes voies, ô Éternel ! enseigne-moi tes sentiers. Make me to know thy ways, O Jehovah; teach me thy paths. Muéstrame, oh Jehová, tus caminos;
Enséñame tus sendas.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Fais-moi marcher dans ta vérité, et enseigne-moi, car tu es le Dieu de mon salut ; c'est à toi que je m'attends tout le jour. Porque tú eres el Dios de mi salvación;

6 Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. Souviens-toi de ta miséricorde, ô Éternel, et de ta bonté ; car elles sont de tout temps. Remember, Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses; for they are from everlasting. Acuérdate, oh Jehová, de tus piedades y de tus misericordias,
Que son perpetuas.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord. Ne te souviens pas des péchés de ma jeunesse ni de mes transgressionsb ; selon ta gratuité souviens-toi de moi à cause de ta bonté, ô Éternel. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy loving-kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, Jehovah. De los pecados de mi juventud, y de mis rebeliones, no te acuerdes;
Conforme a tu misericordia acuérdate de mí,
Por tu bondad, oh Jehová.
8 Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. ✱ L'Éternel est bon et droit ; c'est pourquoi il enseignera le chemin aux pécheurs. Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way: Bueno y recto es Jehová;
Por tanto, él enseñará a los pecadores el camino.

10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. 11 For thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. À cause de ton nom, ô Éternel ! tu me pardonneras mon iniquité ; car elle est grande. For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, thou wilt indeed pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. Por amor de tu nombre, oh Jehová,
Perdonarás también mi pecado, que es grande.
12 What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. Qui est l'homme qui craint l'Éternel ? Il lui enseignera le chemin qu'il doit choisird. What man is he that feareth Jehovah? him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. ¿Quién es el hombre que teme a Jehová?

13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth. Son âme habitera au milieu du bien, et sa semence possédera la terre. His soul shall dwell in prosperity, and his seed shall inherit the earth. Gozará él de bienestar,

14 The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Le secrete de l'Éternel est pour ceux qui le craignent, pour leur faire connaître son alliance. The secret of Jehovah is with them that fear him, that he may make known his covenant to them. La comunión íntima de Jehová es con los que le temen,
Y a ellos hará conocer su pacto.
15 Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Mes yeux sont continuellement sur l'Éternel ; car c'est lui qui fera sortir mes pieds du filet. Mine eyes are ever toward Jehovah; for he will bring my feet out of the net. Mis ojos están siempre hacia Jehová,
Porque él sacará mis pies de la red.
16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. ✱ Tourne-toi vers moi et use de grâce envers moi, car je suis seul et affligé. Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted. Mírame, y ten misericordia de mí,

Y con odio violento me aborrecen.
