1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. Ne t'irrite pas à cause de ceux qui font le mal, ne sois pas jaloux de ceux qui pratiquent l'iniquité ; Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, and be not envious of them that work unrighteousness; No te impacientes a causa de los malignos,
Ni tengas envidia de los que hacen iniquidad.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. car bientôt, comme l'herbe, ils seront fauchés, et, comme l'herbe verte, ils se faneront. for they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and fade as the green herb. Porque como hierba serán pronto cortados,
Y como la hierba verde se secarán.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Confie-toi en l'Éternel et pratique le bien ; habite le pays, et repais-toi deb fidélité, Confide in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness; Confía en Jehová, y haz el bien;
Y habitarás en la tierra, y te apacentarás de la verdad.
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. et fais tes délices de l'Éternel : et il te donnera les demandes de ton cœur. and delight thyself in Jehovah, and he will give thee the desires of thy heart. Deléitate asimismo en Jehová,
Y él te concederá las peticiones de tu corazón.
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Remets ta voie sur l'Éternel, et confie-toi en lui ; Commit thy way unto Jehovah, and rely upon him: he will bring it to pass; Encomienda a Jehová tu camino,
Y confía en él; y él hará.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. et lui, il agira, et il produirac ta justice comme la lumière, et ton droit comme le plein midi. and he will bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Exhibirá tu justicia como la luz,
Y tu derecho como el mediodía.
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Demeure tranquille, [appuyé] sur l'Éternel, et attends-toi à lui. Ne t'irrite pas à cause de celui qui prospère dans son chemin, à cause de l'homme qui vient à bout de ses desseins. Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him that prospereth in his way, because of the man that bringeth mischievous devices to pass. Guarda silencio ante Jehová, y espera en él.
No te alteres con motivo del que prospera en su camino,
Por el hombre que hace maldades.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. Laisse la colère et abandonne le courroux ; ne t'irrite pas, au moins pour faire le mal : Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; fret not thyself: it would be only to do evil. Deja la ira, y desecha el enojo;
No te excites en manera alguna a hacer lo malo.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. car ceux qui font le mal seront retranchés, et ceux qui s'attendent à l'Éternel, ceux-là posséderont le pays. For evil-doers shall be cut off; but those that wait on Jehovah, they shall possess the land. Porque los malignos serán destruidos,
Pero los que esperan en Jehová, ellos heredarán la tierra.
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. Encore un peu de temps, et le méchant ne sera plus ; et tu considéreras son lieu, et il n'y sera plus ; For yet a little while, and the wicked is not; and thou considerest his place, but he is not. Pues de aquí a poco no existirá el malo;
Observarás su lugar, y no estará allí.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. et les débonnaires posséderont le pays, et feront leurs délices d'une abondance de paix. But the meek shall possess the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of prosperity. Pero los mansos heredarán la tierra,a
Y se recrearán con abundancia de paz.
12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. ✱ Le méchant complote contre le juste, et grince les dents contre lui : The wicked plotteth against the righteous, and gnasheth his teeth against him. Maquina el impío contra el justo,
Y cruje contra él sus dientes;
13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. le Seigneur se rira de lui, car il voit que son jour vient. The Lord laugheth at him; for he seeth that his day is coming. El Señor se reirá de él;
Porque ve que viene su día.
14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. Les méchants ont tiré l'épée et ont bandé leur arc, pour faire tomber l'affligé et le pauvre, pour égorger ceux qui marchent dans la droiture : The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the afflicted and needy, to slay those that are upright in the way: Los impíos desenvainan espada y entesan su arco,
Para derribar al pobre y al menesteroso,
Para matar a los de recto proceder.
15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. leur épée entrera dans leur cœur, et leurs arcs seront brisés. their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. Su espada entrará en su mismo corazón,
Y su arco será quebrado.
16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. Mieux vaut le peu du juste que l'abondance de beaucoup de méchants ; The little that the righteous hath is better than the abundance of many wicked; Mejor es lo poco del justo,
Que las riquezas de muchos pecadores.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. car les bras des méchants seront brisés, mais l'Éternel soutient les justes. for the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Jehovah upholdeth the righteous. Porque los brazos de los impíos serán quebrados;
Mas el que sostiene a los justos es Jehová.
18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. L'Éternel connaît les jours de ceux qui sont intègres, et leur héritage sera pour toujours : Jehovah knoweth the days of the perfect; and their inheritance shall be for ever: Conoce Jehová los días de los perfectos,
Y la heredad de ellos será para siempre.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. ils ne seront pas confus au mauvais temps, et ils seront rassasiés aux jours de la famine. they shall not be ashamed in the time of evil, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. No serán avergonzados en el mal tiempo,
Y en los días de hambre serán saciados.
20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. Car les méchants périront, et les ennemis de l'Éternel comme la graisse des agneauxd ; ils s'en iront, comme la fumée ils s'en iront. For the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume, like smoke shall they consume away. Mas los impíos perecerán,
Y los enemigos de Jehová como la grasa de los carneros
Serán consumidos; se disiparán como el humo.
21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. Le méchant emprunte, et ne rend pas ; mais le juste use de grâce, et donne : The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again; but the righteous is gracious and giveth: El impío toma prestado, y no paga;
Mas el justo tiene misericordia, y da.
22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. car ceux qui sont bénis de lui posséderont le pays ; mais ceux qui sont maudits de lui seront retranchés. for those blessed of him shall possess the land, and they that are cursed of him shall be cut off. Porque los benditos de él heredarán la tierra;
Y los malditos de él serán destruidos.
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. ✱ Par l'Éternel les pas de l'homme sont affermis, et il prend plaisir à sa voie : The steps of a man are established by Jehovah, and he delighteth in his way: Por Jehová son ordenados los pasos del hombre,
Y él aprueba su camino.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. s'il tombe, il ne sera pas entièrement abattu ; car l'Éternel lui soutient la main. though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Jehovah upholdeth his hand. Cuando el hombre cayere, no quedará postrado,
Porque Jehová sostiene su mano.
25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. J'ai été jeune, et je suis vieux, et je n'ai pas vu le juste abandonné, ni sa semence cherchant du pain : I have been young, and now am old, and I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed seeking bread: Joven fui, y he envejecido,
Y no he visto justo desamparado,
Ni su descendencia que mendigue pan.
26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. il use de grâce tout le jour, et il prête ; et sa semence sera en bénédiction. all the day he is gracious and lendeth, and his seed shall be a blessing. En todo tiempo tiene misericordia, y presta;
Y su descendencia es para bendición.
27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. Retire-toi du mal, et fais le bien, et demeure pour toujours ; Depart from evil, and do good, and dwell for evermore; Apártate del mal, y haz el bien,
Y vivirás para siempre.
28 For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. car l'Éternel aime la droiture, et il n'abandonnera pas ses saintse : ils seront gardés à toujours, mais la semence des méchants sera retranchée. for Jehovah loveth judgment, and will not forsake his saints: They are preserved for ever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. Porque Jehová ama la rectitud,
Y no desampara a sus santos.
Para siempre serán guardados;
Mas la descendencia de los impíos será destruida.
29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. Les justes posséderont le pays, et ils l'habiteront à perpétuité. The righteous shall possess the land, and dwell therein for ever. Los justos heredarán la tierra,
Y vivirán para siempre sobre ella.
30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. ✱ La bouche du juste profère la sagesse, et sa langue parle la droiture ; The mouth of the righteous proffereth wisdom, and his tongue speaketh judgment; La boca del justo habla sabiduría,
Y su lengua habla justicia.
31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. la loi de son Dieu est dans son cœur, ses pas ne chancelleront pas. the law of his God is in his heart; his goings shall not slide. La ley de su Dios está en su corazón;
Por tanto, sus pies no resbalarán.
32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. Le méchant épie le juste, et cherche à le faire mourir : The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him: Acecha el impío al justo,
Y procura matarlo.
33 The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. l'Éternel ne l'abandonnera pas entre ses mains, et ne le condamnera pas, quand il sera jugé. Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. Jehová no lo dejará en sus manos,
Ni lo condenará cuando le juzgaren.
34 Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. Attends-toi à l'Éternel, et garde sa voie ; et il t'élèvera afin que tu possèdes le pays : quand les méchants seront retranchés, tu le verras. Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, and he will exalt thee to possess the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it . Espera en Jehová, y guarda su camino,
Y él te exaltará para heredar la tierra;
Cuando sean destruidos los pecadores, lo verás.
35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. ✱ J'ai vu le méchant puissant, et s'étendant comme un arbre vert croissant dans son lieu natal ; I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading like a green tree in its native soil: Vi yo al impío sumamente enaltecido,
Y que se extendía como laurel verde.
36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. mais ilf passa, et voici, il n'était plus ; et je l'ai cherché, et il ne s'est plus trouvé. but he passed away, and behold, he was not; and I sought him, but he was not found. Pero él pasó, y he aquí ya no estaba;
Lo busqué, y no fue hallado.
37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. Prends garde à l'homme intègre, et regarde l'homme droit, car la fing d'un [tel] homme est la paix ; Mark the perfect, and behold the upright, for the end of that man is peace; Considera al íntegro, y mira al justo;
Porque hay un final dichoso para el hombre de paz.
38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. mais les transgresseurs seront détruits ensemble ; la fing des méchants, c'est d'être retranchéh ; but the transgressors shall be destroyed together; the future of the wicked shall be cut off. Mas los transgresores serán todos a una destruidos;
La posteridad de los impíos será extinguida.
39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. Mais le salut des justes vient de l'Éternel ; il est leur force au temps de la détresse, et l'Éternel leur aidera et les délivrera ; But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah: he is their strength in the time of trouble. Pero la salvación de los justos es de Jehová,
Y él es su fortaleza en el tiempo de la angustia.
40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. il les délivrera des méchants et les sauvera, car ils se sont confiés en lui. And Jehovah will help them and deliver them: he will deliver them from the wicked, and save them; for they trust in him. Jehová los ayudará y los librará;
Los libertará de los impíos, y los salvará,
Por cuanto en él esperaron.
