Y escucha todas mis palabras.
2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth. Voici, j'ai ouvert ma bouche, ma langue parle dans mon palais. Behold now, I have opened my mouth, my tongue speaketh in my palate, He aquí yo abriré ahora mi boca,
Y mi lengua hablará en mi garganta.
3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly. Mes paroles seront selon la droiture de mon cœur, et ce que je sais mes lèvres le diront avec pureté. My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart, and my lips shall utter knowledge purely. Mis razones declararán la rectitud de mi corazón,
Y lo que saben mis labios, lo hablarán con sinceridad.
4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. L'Esprit de ∗Dieu m'a fait, et le souffle du Tout-puissant m'a donné la vie. The Spirit of *God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. El espíritu de Dios me hizo,
Y el soplo del Omnipotente me dio vida.
5 If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up. Si tu le peux, réponds-moi ; arrange [des paroles] devant moi, tiens-toi là ! If thou canst, answer me; array thy words before me: take thy stand. Respóndeme si puedes;
Ordena tus palabras, ponte en pie.
6 Behold, I am according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay. Voici, je suis comme toi quant à ∗Dieua, je suis faitb d'argile, moi aussi. Behold, before *God I am as thou; I also am formed out of the clay. Heme aquí a mí en lugar de Dios, conforme a tu dicho;
De barro fui yo también formado.
7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee. Voici, ma terreur ne te troublera pas, et mon poids ne t'accablera pas. Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, nor my burden be heavy upon thee. He aquí, mi terror no te espantará,
Ni mi mano se agravará sobre ti.
8 Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying, ✱ Certainement tu as dit à mes propres oreilles, et j'ai entendu le son de [tes] discours : Surely thou hast spoken in my hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words: -- De cierto tú dijiste a oídos míos,
Y yo oí la voz de tus palabras que decían:
9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me. Moi, je suis net, sans transgression ; je suis pur, et il n'y a pas d'iniquité en moi ; I am clean without transgression; I am pure, and there is no iniquity in me; Yo soy limpio y sin defecto;
Soy inocente, y no hay maldad en mí.
10 Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy, Voici, il trouve des occasions d'inimitié contre moi, il me considère comme son ennemi ; Lo, he findeth occasions of hostility against me, he counteth me for his enemy; He aquí que él buscó reproches contra mí,
Y me tiene por su enemigo;
11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths. Il a mis mes pieds dans les ceps, il observe toutes mes voies. He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths. Puso mis pies en el cepo,
Y vigiló todas mis sendas.
12 Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man. ✱ Voici, je te répondrai qu'en cela tu n'as pas été juste, car †Dieu est plus grand que l'homme. Behold, I will answer thee in this, thou art not right; for +God is greater than man. He aquí, en esto no has hablado justamente;
Yo te responderé que mayor es Dios que el hombre.
13 Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters. Pourquoi contestes-tu avec lui ? car d'aucune de ses actions il ne rend compte. Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters. ¿Por qué contiendes contra él?
Porque él no da cuenta de ninguna de sus razones.
14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. Car ∗Dieu parle une fois, et deux fois — [et] l'on n'y prend pas garde — For *God speaketh once, and twice, -- and man perceiveth it not-- Sin embargo, en una o en dos maneras habla Dios;
Pero el hombre no entiende.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Dans un songe, dans une vision de nuit, quand un profond sommeil tombe sur les hommes, quand ils dorment sur leurs lits : In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Por sueño, en visión nocturna,
Cuando el sueño cae sobre los hombres,
Cuando se adormecen sobre el lecho,
16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, Alors il ouvre l'oreille aux hommes et scelle l'instruction qu'il leur donnec, Then he openeth men's ears, and sealeth their instruction, Entonces revela al oído de los hombres,
Y les señala su consejo,
17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. Pour détourner l'homme de ce qu'il fait ; et il cache l'orgueil à l'homme ; That he may withdraw man from his work, and hide pride from man. Para quitar al hombre de su obra,
Y apartar del varón la soberbia.
18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword. Il préserve son âme de la fosse, et sa vie de se jeter sur l'épée. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from passing away by the sword. Detendrá su alma del sepulcro,
Y su vida de que perezca a espada.
19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain: Il est châtié aussi sur son lit par la douleur, et la lutte de ses os est continuelle, He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and with constant strife in his bones; También sobre su cama es castigado
Con dolor fuerte en todos sus huesos,
20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat. Et sa vie prend en dégoût le pain, et son âme l'aliment qu'il aimait ; And his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty food; Que le hace que su vida aborrezca el pan,
Y su alma la comida suave.
21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out. Sa chair est consumée et ne se voit plus, et ses os, qu'on ne voyait pas, sont mis à nu ; His flesh is consumed away from view, and his bones that were not seen stick out; Su carne desfallece, de manera que no se ve,
Y sus huesos, que antes no se veían, aparecen.
22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers. Et son âme s'approche de la fosse, et sa vie, de ceux qui font mourir. And his soul draweth near to the pit, and his life to the destroyers. Su alma se acerca al sepulcro,
Y su vida a los que causan la muerte.
23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: S'il y a pour lui un messager, un interprète, un entre mille, pour montrer à l'homme ce qui, pour lui, est la droitured, If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his duty; Si tuviese cerca de él
Algún elocuente mediador muy escogido,
Que anuncie al hombre su deber;
24 Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. Il lui fera grâce, et il dira : Délivre-lee pour qu'il ne descende pas dans la fosse : j'ai trouvé une propitiationf. Then he will be gracious unto him, and say, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom. Que le diga que Dios tuvo de él misericordia,
Que lo libró de descender al sepulcro,
Que halló redención;
25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth: [Alors] sa chair aura plus de fraîcheur que dans l'enfance ; il reviendra aux jours de sa jeunesse ; His flesh shall be fresher than in childhood; he shall return to the days of his youth. Su carne será más tierna que la del niño,
Volverá a los días de su juventud.
26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. Il suppliera †Dieu, et [Dieu] l'aura pour agréable ; et il verra sa face avec des chants de triomphe, et [Dieu] rendra à l'homme sa justice. He shall pray unto +God, and he will receive him with favour; and he shall see his face with shoutings, and he will render unto man his righteousness. Orará a Dios, y este le amará,
Y verá su faz con júbilo;
Y restaurará al hombre su justicia.
27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not; Il chantera devantg les hommes, et dira : J'ai péché et j'ai perverti la droiture, et il ne me l'a pas rendu ; He will sing before men, and say, I have sinned, and perverted what was right, and it hath not been requited to me; Él mira sobre los hombres; y al que dijere:
Pequé, y pervertí lo recto,
Y no me ha aprovechado,
28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. Il a délivré mon âme pour qu'elle n'allât pas dans la fosse, et ma vie verra la lumière. He hath delivered my soul from going into the pit, and my life shall see the light. Dios redimirá su alma para que no pase al sepulcro,
Y su vida se verá en luz.
29 Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man, Voilà, ∗Dieu opère toutes ces choses deux fois, trois fois, avec l'homme, Lo, all these things worketh *God twice, thrice, with man, He aquí, todas estas cosas hace Dios
Dos y tres veces con el hombre,
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living. Pour détourner son âme de la fosse, pour qu'il soit illuminé de la lumière des vivants. To bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of the living. Para apartar su alma del sepulcro,
Y para iluminarlo con la luz de los vivientes.
31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak. ✱ Sois attentif, Job, écoute-moi ; tais-toi, et moi je parlerai. Mark well, Job, hearken unto me; be silent, and I will speak. Escucha, Job, y óyeme;
Calla, y yo hablaré.
32 If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee. S'il y a quelque chose à dire, réponds-moi ; parle, car je désire que tu sois trouvé juste ; If thou hast anything to say, answer me; speak, for I desire to justify thee. Si tienes razones, respóndeme;
Habla, porque yo te quiero justificar.
33 If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom. Sinon, écoute-moi ; tais-toi, et je t'enseignerai la sagesse. If not, hearken thou unto me; be silent, and I will teach thee wisdom. Y si no, óyeme tú a mí;
Calla, y te enseñaré sabiduría.
