1 Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said, ☆ Et l'Éternel répondit à Job du milieu du tourbillon et dit : And Jehovah answered Job and said, Además respondió Jehová a Job, y dijo:
2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it. Ceins tes reins comme un homme ; je t'interrogerai, et tu m'instruiras ! Shall he that will contend with the Almighty instruct him ? he that reproveth +God, let him answer it. ¿Es sabiduría contender con el Omnipotente?
El que disputa con Dios, responda a esto.
3 Then Job answered the Lord, and said, Veux-tu donc anéantir mon jugement ? Me démontreras-tu inique afin de te justifier ? And Job answered Jehovah and said, Entonces respondió Job a Jehová, y dijo:
4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth. As-tu un bras comme ∗Dieu et tonneras-tu de ta voix comme lui ? Behold, I am nought: what shall I answer thee? I will lay my hand upon my mouth. He aquí que yo soy vil; ¿qué te responderé?
Mi mano pongo sobre mi boca.
5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further. Pare-toi, je te prie, de grandeur et de magnificence ; revêts-toi de majesté et de gloire ! Once have I spoken, and I will not answer; yea twice, but I will proceed no further. Una vez hablé, mas no responderé;
Aun dos veces, mas no volveré a hablar.
6 Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Répands les fureurs de ta colère, et regarde tout ce quia s'élève et abaisse-le ; And Jehovah answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, Respondió Jehová a Job desde el torbellino, y dijo:
7 Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. Regarde tout ce quia s'élève [et] humilie-le, et écrase sur place les méchants ; Gird up now thy loins like a man: I will demand of thee, and inform thou me. Cíñete ahora como varón tus lomos;
Yo te preguntaré, y tú me responderás.
8 Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous? Cache-les ensemble dans la poussière, lie leurs faces dans un lieu caché : Wilt thou also annul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me that thou mayest be righteous? ¿Invalidarás tú también mi juicio?
¿Me condenarás a mí, para justificarte tú?
9 Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? Alors moi aussi je te célébrerai, parce que ta droite te sauve ! Hast thou an arm like *God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? ¿Tienes tú un brazo como el de Dios?
¿Y truenas con voz como la suya?
10 Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. ✱ Vois le béhémothb, que j'ai fait avec toi : il mange l'herbe comme le bœuf. Deck thyself now with glory and excellency, and clothe thyself with majesty and splendour. Adórnate ahora de majestad y de alteza,
Y vístete de honra y de hermosura.
11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him. Regarde donc : sa force est dans ses reins, et sa puissance dans les muscles de son ventre. Cast abroad the ragings of thine anger, and look on every one that is proud, and abase him: Derrama el ardor de tu ira;
Mira a todo altivo, y abátelo.
12 Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place. Il courbe sa queue comme un cèdre ; les nerfs de sa cuisse sont entrelacés ; Look on every one that is proud, bring him low, and tread down the wicked in their place: Mira a todo soberbio, y humíllalo,
Y quebranta a los impíos en su sitio.
13 Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret. Ses os sont des tubes d'airain, ses membres sont des barres de fer ! Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in secret. Encúbrelos a todos en el polvo,
Encierra sus rostros en la oscuridad;

Hierba come como buey.

18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. Voici, que le fleuve déborde avec violence, il ne se précipite pas ; il est plein d'assurance si un Jourdain se jette contre sa gueule. His bones are tubes of bronze, his members are like bars of iron. Sus huesos son fuertes como bronce,
Y sus miembros como barras de hierro.
19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. Le prendra-t-on en face ? Lui percera-t-on le nez dans une trappe ? He is the chief of *God's ways: he that made him gave him his sword. Él es el principio de los caminos de Dios;

22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. Te fera-t-il beaucoup de supplications, ou te dira-t-il des choses douces ? Lotus-bushes cover him with their shade; the willows of the brook surround him. Los árboles sombríos lo cubren con su sombra;
Los sauces del arroyo lo rodean.
23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. Fera-t-il une alliance avec toi ? Le prendras-tu comme serviteur à toujours ? Lo, the river overfloweth--he startleth not: he is confident though a Jordan break forth against his mouth. He aquí, sale de madre el río, pero él no se inmuta;

24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares. Joueras-tu avec lui comme avec un oiseau, et l'attacheras-tu pour tes jeunes filles ? Shall he be taken in front? will they pierce through his nose in the trap? ¿Lo tomará alguno cuando está vigilante,
Y horadará su nariz?
25 Des associése feront-ils trafic de lui ? Le partageront-ils entre des marchands ?
26 Rempliras-tu sa peau de dards, et sa tête de harpons à poissons ?
27 Mets ta main sur lui : souviens-toi de la bataille, — n'y reviens pas !
