2 Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth. Écoutez donc le bruit éclatant de sa voix et le grondement qui sort de sa bouche ! Hear attentively the roar of his voice, and the murmur going forth from his mouth. Oíd atentamente el estrépito de su voz,
Y el sonido que sale de su boca.
3 He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. Il le dirige sous tous les cieux, et son éclaira, jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre : He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. Debajo de todos los cielos lo dirige,
Y su luz hasta los fines de la tierra.
4 After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. Après lui une voix rugit. Il tonne de sa voix majestueuse, et il ne retient pas sesb éclairs quand il fait entendre sa voix. Truena él con voz majestuosa;
Y aunque sea oída su voz, no los detiene.
5 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. ∗Dieu tonne merveilleusement de sa voix, faisant de grandes choses que nous ne comprenons pas. *God thundereth marvellously with his voice, doing great things which we do not comprehend. Truena Dios maravillosamente con su voz;
Él hace grandes cosas, que nosotros no entendemos.
6 For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength. Car il dit à la neige : Tombe sur la terre ! et aussi aux averses de pluie, et aux averses des pluies de sa force. For he saith to the snow, Fall on the earth! and to the pouring rain, even the pouring rains of his might. Porque a la nieve dice: Desciende a la tierra;
También a la llovizna, y a los aguaceros torrenciales.
7 He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work. Il met un sceau sur la main de tout homme, afin que tous les hommes connaissent son œuvrec. He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work. Así hace retirarse a todo hombre,
Para que los hombres todos reconozcan su obra.
8 Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places. Les bêtes sauvages rentrent dans leurs gîtes, et demeurent dans leurs repaires. And the wild beast goeth into its lair, and they remain in their dens. Las bestias entran en su escondrijo,
Y se están en sus moradas.
9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. Des chambres [du midi] vient le tourbillon, et des vents du nord, le froid. From the chamber of the south cometh the whirlwind; and cold from the winds of the north. Del sur viene el torbellino,
Y el frío de los vientos del norte.
10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened. Au souffle de ∗Dieu se forme la glace, et la largeur des eaux se resserre. By the breath of *God ice is given; and the breadth of the waters is straitened. Por el soplo de Dios se da el hielo,
Y las anchas aguas se congelan.
11 Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud: Il charge d'eau le nuage ; sa lumière dissipe les nuées ; Also with plentiful moisture he loadeth the thick clouds, his light dispels the cloud; Regando también llega a disipar la densa nube,
Y con su luz esparce la niebla.
12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. Et sous sa conduite elles tournoient en tout sens, pour accomplir leur œuvre, tout ce qu'il leur commande sur la face du cercled de la terre, And they are turned every way by his guidance, that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the circuit of the earth, Asimismo por sus designios se revuelven las nubes en derredor,
Para hacer sobre la faz del mundo,
En la tierra, lo que él les mande.
13 He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy. Soit qu'il les fasse venir comme verge, ou pour sa terre, ou en bonté. Whether he cause it to come as a rod, or for his land, or in mercy. Unas veces por azote, otras por causa de su tierra,
Otras por misericordia las hará venir.
14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God. ✱ Écoute ceci, Job ; tiens-toi là, et discerne les œuvres merveilleuses de ∗Dieu. Hearken unto this, Job; stand still and discern the wondrous works of *God. Escucha esto, Job;
Detente, y considera las maravillas de Dios.
15 Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine? Sais-tu comment †Dieu les a disposées et comment il fait briller l'éclaire de sa nue ? Dost thou know how +God hath disposed them, and how he causeth the lightning of his cloud to flash? ¿Sabes tú cómo Dios las pone en concierto,
Y hace resplandecer la luz de su nube?
16 Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge? Comprends-tu le balancement des nuages, les œuvres merveilleuses de celui qui est parfait en connaissance, — Dost thou know about the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him that is perfect in knowledge? ¿Has conocido tú las diferencias de las nubes,
Las maravillas del Perfecto en sabiduría?
17 How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind? Pourquoi tes vêtements sont chauds quand il donne du repos à la terre par le vent du midi ? How thy garments become warm when he quieteth the earth by the south wind? ¿Por qué están calientes tus vestidos
Cuando él sosiega la tierra con el viento del sur?
18 Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass? As-tu étendu avec lui la voûte céleste, aussi ferme qu'un miroir de fonte ? Hast thou with him spread out the sky, firm, like a molten mirror? ¿Extendiste tú con él los cielos,
Firmes como un espejo fundido?
19 Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness. Fais-nous savoir ce que nous lui dirons ! Nous ne savons préparer [des paroles], à cause de [nos] ténèbres. Teach us what we shall say unto him! We cannot order our words by reason of darkness. Muéstranos qué le hemos de decir;
Porque nosotros no podemos ordenar las ideas a causa de las tinieblas.
20 Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up. Lui racontera-t-on que je parle ? Si quelqu'un lui parle, il sera sûrement englouti. Shall it be told him if I would speak? if a man so say, surely he shall be swallowed up. ¿Será preciso contarle cuando yo hablare?
Por más que el hombre razone, quedará como abismado.
21 And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them. Et maintenant on ne voit pas la lumière brillante, elle est [cachée] dans les nues ; mais le vent passe et les [chasse, et] produit un ciel clairf. And now men see not the light as it gleameth, it is hidden in the skies. But the wind passeth by and cleareth them. Mas ahora ya no se puede mirar la luz esplendente en los cielos,
Luego que pasa el viento y los limpia,
22 Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty. L'org vient du nord ; — par devers †Dieu est la majesté terrible. From the north cometh gold; with +God is terrible majesty. Viniendo de la parte del norte la dorada claridad.
En Dios hay una majestad terrible.
23 Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. Le Tout-puissant, nous ne le trouvons pas ; grand en force, en jugementh et en beaucoup de justice, il n'opprime pasi. The Almighty, we cannot find him out: excellent in power, and in judgment, and in abundance of justice, he doth not afflict. Él es Todopoderoso, al cual no alcanzamos, grande en poder;
Y en juicio y en multitud de justicia no afligirá.
24 Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart. C'est pourquoi les hommes le craindront ; aucun des sages de cœur ne le contempleraj. Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart. Lo temerán por tanto los hombres;
Él no estima a ninguno que cree en su propio corazón ser sabio.
