1	My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.	Mon souffle est corrompu, mes jours s'éteignent : pour moi sont les sépulcres !	My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are mine.	Mi aliento se agota, se acortan mis días, Y me está preparado el sepulcro.
2	Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?	Les moqueurs ne sont-ils pas autour de moi, et mes yeux ne demeurent-ils pas au milieu de leurs insultes ?	Are there not mockers around me? and doth not mine eye abide in their provocation?	No hay conmigo sino escarnecedores, En cuya amargura se detienen mis ojos.
3	Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me?	Dépose, je te prie, [un gage] ; cautionne-moi auprès de toi-même : qui donc frappera dans ma maina ?	Lay down now a pledge , be thou surety for me with thyself: who is he that striketh hands with me?	Dame fianza, oh Dios; sea mi protección cerca de ti. Porque ¿quién querría responder por mí?
4	For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them.	Car tu as fermé leur cœur à l'intelligence ; c'est pourquoi tu ne les élèveras pas.	For thou hast hidden their heart from understanding; therefore thou wilt not exalt them .	Porque a estos has escondido de su corazón la inteligencia; Por tanto, no los exaltarás.
5	He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.	Celui qui trahit ses amis pour qu'ils soient pillés, les yeux de ses fils seront consumés.	He that betrayeth friends for a prey--even the eyes of his children shall fail.	Al que denuncia a sus amigos como presa, Los ojos de sus hijos desfallecerán.
6	He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.	✱ Et il a fait de moi un proverbe des peuples, et je suis devenu un homme auquel on crache au visage.	And he hath made me a proverb of the peoples; and I am become one to be spit on in the face.	Él me ha puesto por refrán de pueblos, Y delante de ellos he sido como tamboril.
7	Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.	Mon œil est terni par le chagrin, et mes membres sont tous comme une ombre.	And mine eye is dim by reason of grief, and all my members are as a shadow.	Mis ojos se oscurecieron por el dolor, Y mis pensamientos todos son como sombra.
8	Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.	Les hommes droits en seront étonnés, et l'innocent s'élèvera contre l'impie ;	Upright men shall be astonished at this, and the innocent shall be stirred up against the ungodly;	Los rectos se maravillarán de esto, Y el inocente se levantará contra el impío.
9	The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.	Mais le juste tiendra ferme dans sa voie, et celui qui a les mains pures croîtra en force.	But the righteous shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall increase in strength.	No obstante, proseguirá el justo su camino, Y el limpio de manos aumentará la fuerza.
10	But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.	Mais quant à vous tous, revenez encore, je vous prie ; mais je ne trouverai pas un sage parmi vous.	But as for you all, pray come on again; and I shall not find one wise man among you.	Pero volved todos vosotros, y venid ahora, Y no hallaré entre vosotros sabio.
11	My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.	✱ Mes jours sont passés, mes desseins sont frustrés, — les plans chéris de mon cœur.	My days are past, my purposes are broken off, the cherished thoughts of my heart.	Pasaron mis días, fueron arrancados mis pensamientos, Los designios de mi corazón.
12	They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.	Ilsb font de la nuit le jour, la lumière proche en présence des ténèbres.	They change the night into day; the light they imagine near in presence of the darkness.	Pusieron la noche por día, Y la luz se acorta delante de las tinieblas.
13	If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.	Si j'espère, le shéol est ma maison, j'étends mon lit dans les ténèbres ;	If I wait, Sheol is my house; I spread my bed in the darkness:	Si yo espero, el Seol es mi casa; Haré mi cama en las tinieblas.
14	I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my sister.	Je crie à la fossec : Tu es mon père ! aux vers : Ma mère et ma sœur !	I cry to the grave, Thou art my father! to the worm, My mother, and my sister!	A la corrupción he dicho: Mi padre eres tú; A los gusanos: Mi madre y mi hermana.
15	And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?	Où donc est mon espoir ? Et mon espoir, qui le verra ?	And where is then my hope? yea, my hope, who shall see it?	¿Dónde, pues, estará ahora mi esperanza? Y mi esperanza, ¿quién la verá?
16	They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.	Il descendra vers les barresd du shéol, lorsque ensemble nous aurons du repos dans la poussière.	It shall go down to the bars of Sheol, when our rest shall be together in the dust.	A la profundidad del Seol descenderán, Y juntamente descansarán en el polvo.
