1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said, Et Job reprit son discours sentencieux et dit : And Job continued his parable and said, Reasumió Job su discurso, y dijo:
2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul; ∗Dieu qui a écarté mon droit, le Tout-puissant qui met l'amertume dans mon âme, est vivant : As *God liveth, who hath taken away my right, and the Almighty, who hath embittered my soul, Vive Dios, que ha quitado mi derecho,
3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils; Tant que mon souffle est en moi et l'esprit de †Dieu dans mes narines, All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of +God is in my nostrils, Que todo el tiempo que mi alma esté en mí,
4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit. My lips shall not speak unrighteousness, nor my tongue utter deceit! Mis labios no hablarán iniquidad,
Ni mi lengua pronunciará engaño.
5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. Loin de moi que je vous justifie ! Jusqu'à ce que j'expire, je ne lâcherai pas ma perfectiona ; Be it far from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not remove my blamelessness from me. Nunca tal acontezca que yo os justifique;
6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live. Je tiendrai ferme ma justice et je n'en ferai pas abandon ; mon cœur ne me reproche aucun de mes jours. My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart reproacheth me not one of my days. Mi justicia tengo asida, y no la cederé;
7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous. Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous. Sea como el impío mi enemigo,
Y como el inicuo mi adversario.
8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul? For what is the hope of the ungodly, when God cutteth him off, when +God taketh away his soul?
9 Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him? Will *God hear his cry when distress cometh upon him? ¿Oirá Dios su clamor
Cuando la tribulación viniere sobre él?
10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God? Trouvera-t-il ses délices dans le Tout-puissant ? Invoquera-t-il †Dieu en tout temps ? Doth he delight himself in the Almighty? will he at all times call upon +God? ¿Se deleitará en el Omnipotente?
¿Invocará a Dios en todo tiempo?
11 I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal. ✱ Je vous enseignerai comment ∗Dieu agitd, je ne cacherai pas ce qui est par devers le Tout-puissant. I will teach you concerning the hand of *God; what is with the Almighty will I not conceal. Yo os enseñaré en cuanto a la mano de Dios;
12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain? Voici, vous-mêmes, vous l'avez tous vu : et pourquoi entretenez-vous ces vaines pensées ? Behold, ye yourselves have all seen it ; and why are ye thus altogether vain? He aquí que todos vosotros lo habéis visto;
13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. Voici quelle est, par devers ∗Dieu, la part de l'homme méchant et l'héritage que les violents reçoivent du Tout-puissant : This is the portion of the wicked man with *God, and the heritage of the violent, which they receive from the Almighty: -- Esta es para con Dios la porción del hombre impío,
14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. Si ses fils se multiplient, c'est pour l'épée, et ses descendants ne sont pas rassasiés de pain. If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword, and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread; Si sus hijos fueren multiplicados, serán para la espada;
15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep. Those that remain of him shall be buried by death, and his widows shall not weep.
16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; S'il entasse l'argent comme la poussière et se prépare des vêtements comme de la boue, Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay; Aunque amontone plata como polvo,
Y prepare ropa como lodo;
17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on; and the innocent shall divide the silver.
18 He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh. He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a booth that a keeper maketh. Edificó su casa como la polilla,
Y como enramada que hizo el guarda.
19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not. Il se couche riche, et il ne le refera pasf ; il ouvre ses yeux, et il n'est plus. He lieth down rich, but will do so no more; he openeth his eyes, and he is not. Rico se acuesta, pero por última vez;
Abrirá sus ojos, y nada tendrá.
20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night. Les frayeurs le surprennent comme des eaux ; l'ouragan l'emporte de nuit ; Terrors overtake him like waters; a whirlwind stealeth him away in the night. Se apoderarán de él terrores como aguas;
Torbellino lo arrebatará de noche.
21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place. Le vent d'orient l'enlève, et il s'en va, et dans un tourbillon il l'emporte de son lieu. The east wind carrieth him away and he is gone; and as a storm it hurleth him out of his place. Le eleva el solano, y se va;
Y tempestad lo arrebatará de su lugar.
22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. [Dieu] lance [ses dards] sur lui et ne l'épargne pas ; il voudrait fuir loin de sa main. And God shall cast upon him and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand. Dios, pues, descargará sobre él, y no perdonará;
Hará él por huir de su mano.
23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place. Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place. Batirán las manos sobre él,
Y desde su lugar le silbarán.
