14 The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief. 16 In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light. Que de día para sí señalaron;

17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death. Car le matin est pour eux tous l'ombre de la mort, car ils connaissent les terreurs de l'ombre de la mort. 18 He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards. 19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned. La sécheresse et la chaleur emportent l'eau de neige ; ainsi le shéol fait-il de ceux qui ont péché. Así también el Seol a los pecadores.
20 The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree. Le sein maternel les oublie ; les vers se repaissent d'eux ; on ne se souvient plus d'eux : l'iniquité sera brisée comme du bois ! The womb forgetteth him; the worm feedeth sweetly on him: he shall be no more remembered; and unrighteousness is broken as a tree, -- Los olvidará el seno materno; de ellos sentirán los gusanos dulzura;
Nunca más habrá de ellos memoria,
Y como un árbol los impíos serán quebrantados.

22 He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life. Et par leur force ils traînentg les puissants ; ils se lèvent et on n'est plus sûr de sa vie. Una vez que se levante, ninguno está seguro de la vida.
23 Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways. [Dieu] leur donne la sécurité, et ils s'appuient sur elle ; mais il a ses yeux sur leurs voies. God setteth him in safety, and he resteth thereon; but his eyes are upon their ways. Él les da seguridad y confianza;
Sus ojos están sobre los caminos de ellos.
24 They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn. Ils sont élevés : dans peu, ils ne sont plus ; ils défaillent, et sont recueillis comme tous ; ils sont coupés comme la tête d'un épi. 25 And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth? Et si cela n'est pas, qui me fera menteur et réduira mon discours à néant ? If it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth? Y si no, ¿quién me desmentirá ahora,
O reducirá a nada mis palabras?
