Et Abraham dit à son serviteur, le plus ancien de sa maison, qui avait le gouvernement de tout ce qui était à lui : Mets, je te prie, ta main sous ma cuisse, |

And Abraham said to his servant, the eldest of his house, who ruled over all that he had, Put thy hand, I pray thee, under my thigh, |
Y dijo Abraham a un criado suyo, el más viejo de su casa, que era el que gobernaba en todo lo que tenía: Pon ahora tu mano debajo de mi muslo, |

And I will make thee swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: |
et je te ferai jurer par l'Éternel, le Dieu des cieux et le Dieu de la terre, que tu ne prendras pas de femme pour mon fils d'entre les filles des Cananéens, parmi lesquels j'habite ; |

and I will make thee swear by Jehovah, the God of the heavens and the God of the earth, that thou take not a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am dwelling; |
y te juramentaré por Jehová, Dios de los cielos y Dios de la tierra, que no tomarás para mi hijo mujer de las hijas de los cananeos, entre los cuales yo habito; |

But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac. |

And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest? |
Et le serviteur lui dit : Peut-être la femme ne voudra-t-elle pas me suivre dans ce pays-ci ; me faudra-t-il faire retourner ton fils dans le pays d'où tu es sorti ? |

And the servant said to him, Perhaps the woman will not be willing to follow me to this land: must I, then, bring thy son again in any case to the land from which thou hast removed? |
El criado le respondió: Quizá la mujer no querrá venir en pos de mí a esta tierra. ¿Volveré, pues, tu hijo a la tierra de donde saliste? |

And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again. |
Et Abraham lui dit : Garde-toi d'y faire retourner mon fils. |

The Lord God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence. |
L'Éternel, le Dieu des cieux, qui m'a pris de la maison de mon père et du pays de ma parenté, et qui m'a parlé et qui m'a juré, disant : Je donnerai à ta semence ce pays-ci, lui-même enverra son ange devant toi, et tu prendras de là une femme pour mon fils. |

Jehovah the God of the heavens, who took me out of my father's house, and out of the land of my nativity, and who has spoken to me, and who has sworn to me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land--he will send his angel before thee, that thou mayest take a wife for my son thence. |
Jehová, Dios de los cielos, que me tomó de la casa de mi padre y de la tierra de mi parentela, y me habló y me juró, diciendo: A tu descendencia daré esta tierra; él enviará su ángel delante de ti, y tú traerás de allá mujer para mi hijo. |

And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again. |
Et si la femme ne veut pas te suivre, alors tu seras quitte envers moi de ce serment ; seulement, tu ne feras pas retourner là mon fils. |

And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter. |
Et le serviteur mit sa main sous la cuisse d'Abraham, son seigneur, et lui jura au sujet de ces choses. |

And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. |
Et le serviteur prit dix chameaux d'entre les chameaux de son maître, et s'en alla ; or il avait tout le bien de son maître sous sa main. Et il se leva et s'en alla en Mésopotamiea, à la ville de Nakhor. |

And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; now all the treasure of his master was under his hand; and he arose and went to Aram-naharaim, to the city of Nahor. |
Y el criado tomó diez camellos de los camellos de su señor, y se fue, tomando toda clase de regalos escogidos de su señor; y puesto en camino, llegó a Mesopotamia, a la ciudad de Nacor. |

And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water. |
Et il fit agenouiller les chameaux en dehors de la ville, auprès d'un puits d'eau, au temps du soir, au temps où sortent celles qui vont puiser. |

And he made the camels kneel down outside the city by a well of water, at the time of the evening, when the women came out to draw water . |
E hizo arrodillar los camellos fuera de la ciudad, junto a un pozo de agua, a la hora de la tarde, la hora en que salen las doncellas por agua. |

And he said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. |
Et il dit : Éternel, Dieu de mon seigneur Abraham, fais-moi faire, je te prie, une [heureuse] rencontre aujourd'hui, et use de grâce envers mon seigneur Abraham. |

And he said, Jehovah, God of my master Abraham, meet me, I pray thee, with thy blessing this day, and deal kindly with my master Abraham. |
Y dijo: Oh Jehová, Dios de mi señor Abraham, dame, te ruego, el tener hoy buen encuentro, y haz misericordia con mi señor Abraham. |

Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: |
Voici, je me tiens près de la fontaine d'eau, et les filles des gens de la ville sortent pour puiser de l'eau ; |

And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master. |
qu'il arrive donc que la jeune fille à laquelle je dirai : Abaisse ta cruche, je te prie, afin que je boive, et qui dira : Bois, et j'abreuverai aussi tes chameaux, soit celle que tu as destinée à ton serviteur, à Isaac ; et à cela je connaîtrai que tu as usé de grâce envers mon seigneur. |

And let it come to pass, that the maiden to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink, and who will say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also, be she whom thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and hereby I shall know that thou hast dealt kindly with my master. |
Sea, pues, que la doncella a quien yo dijere: Baja tu cántaro, te ruego, para que yo beba, y ella respondiere: Bebe, y también daré de beber a tus camellos; que sea esta la que tú has destinado para tu siervo Isaac; y en esto conoceré que habrás hecho misericordia con mi señor. |

And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder. |
Et il arriva, avant qu'il eût achevé de parler, que voici sortir Rebeccab, sa cruche sur son épaule : elle était née à Bethuel, fils de Milca, femme de Nakhor, frère d'Abraham. |

And it came to pass before he had ended speaking, that behold, Rebecca came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother; and she had her pitcher upon her shoulder. |
Y aconteció que antes que él acabase de hablar, he aquí Rebeca, que había nacido a Betuel, hijo de Milca mujer de Nacor hermano de Abraham, la cual salía con su cántaro sobre su hombro. |

And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up. |
Et la jeune fille était très-belle de visage, vierge, et nul ne l'avait connue. Et elle descendit à la fontaine, et remplit sa cruche, et remonta. |

And the maiden was very fair in countenance; a virgin, and no man had known her. And she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up. |
Y la doncella era de aspecto muy hermoso, virgen, a la que varón no había conocido; la cual descendió a la fuente, y llenó su cántaro, y se volvía. |

And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher. |
Et le serviteur courut à sa rencontre et dit : Permets, je te prie, que je boive un peu d'eau de ta cruche. |

And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink. |
Et elle dit : Bois, mon seigneur. Et vite elle abaissa sa cruche sur sa main, et lui donna à boire. |

And she said, Drink, my lord! And she hasted and let down her pitcher on her hand, and gave him to drink. |
Ella respondió: Bebe, señor mío; y se dio prisa a bajar su cántaro sobre su mano, y le dio a beber. |

And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking. |
Et, après qu'elle eut achevé de lui donner à boire, elle dit : Je puiserai aussi pour tes chameaux, jusqu'à ce qu'ils aient fini de boire. |

And when she had given him enough to drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have drunk enough. |
Y cuando acabó de darle de beber, dijo: También para tus camellos sacaré agua, hasta que acaben de beber. |

And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels. |
Et elle se hâta et vida sa cruche dans l'auge, et elle courut encore au puits pour puiser, et puisa pour tous ses chameaux. |

And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the Lord had made his journey prosperous or not. |
Et l'homme la regardait avec étonnement sans rien dire, pour savoir si l'Éternel aurait fait prospérer son voyage, ou non. |

And the man was astonished at her, remaining silent, to know whether Jehovah had made his journey prosperous or not. |
Y el hombre estaba maravillado de ella, callando, para saber si Jehová había prosperado su viaje, o no. |

And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold; |
Et il arriva, quand les chameaux eurent fini de boire, que l'homme prit un anneauc d'or, du poids d'un demi-sicled, et deux bracelets pour ses mains, du poids de dix [sicles] d'or. |

And it came to pass when the camels had drunk enough, that the man took a gold ring, of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands, ten shekels weight of gold, |
Y cuando los camellos acabaron de beber, le dio el hombre un pendiente de oro que pesaba medio siclo, y dos brazaletes que pesaban diez, |

And said, Whose daughter art thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father’s house for us to lodge in? |
Et il dit : De qui es-tu fille ? Fais-le-moi savoir, je te prie. Y a-t-il pour nous, dans la maison de ton père, un lieu pour y loger ? |

y dijo: ¿De quién eres hija? Te ruego que me digas: ¿hay en casa de tu padre lugar donde posemos? |

And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor. |
Et elle lui dit : Je suis fille de Bethuel, fils de Milca, qu'elle a enfanté à Nakhor. |

And she said to him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor. |
Y ella respondió: Soy hija de Betuel hijo de Milca, el cual ella dio a luz a Nacor. |

She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in. |
Et elle lui dit : Il y a chez nous de la paille, et aussi du fourrage en abondance, et de la place pour loger. |

And she said to him, There is straw, and also much provender with us; also room to lodge. |
Y añadió: También hay en nuestra casa paja y mucho forraje, y lugar para posar. |

And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the Lord. |
Et l'homme s'inclina, et se prosterna devant l'Éternel, |

And the man stooped, and bowed down before Jehovah, |
El hombre entonces se inclinó, y adoró a Jehová, |
| 27 |
And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the Lord led me to the house of my master’s brethren. |
et dit : Béni soit l'Éternel, le Dieu de mon seigneur Abraham, qui ne s'est pas départi de sa grâce et de sa vérité envers mon seigneur. Lorsque j'étais en chemin, l'Éternel m'a conduit à la maison des frères de mon seigneur. |

and said, Blessed be Jehovah, God of my master Abraham, who has not withdrawn his loving-kindness and his faithfulness from my master; I being in the way, Jehovah has led me to the house of my master's brethren. |
y dijo: Bendito sea Jehová, Dios de mi amo Abraham, que no apartó de mi amo su misericordia y su verdad, guiándome Jehová en el camino a casa de los hermanos de mi amo. |

And the damsel ran, and told them of her mother’s house these things. |
Et la jeune fille courut, et rapporta ces choses dans la maison de sa mère ; |

And Rebekah had a brother, and his name was Laban: and Laban ran out unto the man, unto the well. |
or Rebecca avait un frère, nommé Laban ; et Laban courut vers l'homme, dehors, à la fontaine. |

And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister’s hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well. |
Et il arriva que, lorsqu'il vit l'anneau et les bracelets aux mains de sa sœur, et qu'il entendit les paroles de Rebecca, sa sœur, disant : Ainsi m'a parlé l'homme, il vint vers l'homme. Et voici, il se tenait auprès des chameaux, près de la fontaine. |

And it came to pass when he saw the ring and the bracelets on his sister's hand, and when he heard the words of Rebecca his sister, saying, Thus spoke the man to me--that he came to the man, and behold, he was standing by the camels, by the well. |
Y cuando vio el pendiente y los brazaletes en las manos de su hermana, que decía: Así me habló aquel hombre, vino a él; y he aquí que estaba con los camellos junto a la fuente. |

And he said, Come in, thou blessed of the Lord; wherefore standest thou without? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels. |
Et il dit : Entre, béni de l'Éternel ; pourquoi te tiens-tu dehors ? car j'ai préparé la maison, et de la place pour les chameaux. |

And he said, Come in, blessed of Jehovah! why standest thou outside? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels. |
Y le dijo: Ven, bendito de Jehová; ¿por qué estás fuera? He preparado la casa, y el lugar para los camellos. |

And the man came into the house: and he ungirded his camels, and gave straw and provender for the camels, and water to wash his feet, and the men’s feet that were with him. |
Et l'homme entra dans la maison, et on débarrassa les chameaux ; et on donna de la paille et du fourrage aux chameaux, et [pour lui] de l'eau pour laver ses pieds et les pieds des gens qui étaient avec lui. |

And the man came into the house; and he ungirded the camels, and gave the camels straw and provender, and water to wash his feet, and the feet of the men who were with him. |
Entonces el hombre vino a casa, y Labán desató los camellos; y les dio paja y forraje, y agua para lavar los pies de él, y los pies de los hombres que con él venían. |

And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on. |
Et on mit devant lui de quoi manger ; mais il dit : Je ne mangerai pas avant d'avoir dit ce que j'ai à diree. Et [Laban] dit : Parle. |

And there was set meat before him to eat; but he said, I will not eat until I have made known my business. And he said, Speak on. |
Y le pusieron delante qué comer; mas él dijo: No comeré hasta que haya dicho mi mensaje. Y él le dijo: Habla. |

And he said, I am Abraham’s servant. |
Et il dit : Je suis serviteur d'Abraham. |

And he said, I am Abraham's servant. |
Entonces dijo: Yo soy criado de Abraham. |

And the Lord hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. |
Or l'Éternel a béni abondamment mon seigneur, et il est devenu grand ; et il lui a donné du menu bétail, et du gros bétail, et de l'argent, et de l'or, et des serviteurs, et des servantes, et des chameaux, et des ânes. |

And Jehovah has blessed my master greatly, and he is become great; and he has given him sheep and cattle, and silver and gold, and bondmen and bondwomen, and camels and asses. |
Y Jehová ha bendecido mucho a mi amo, y él se ha engrandecido; y le ha dado ovejas y vacas, plata y oro, siervos y siervas, camellos y asnos. |

And Sarah my master’s wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath. |
Et Sara, femme de mon seigneur, a dans sa vieillesse enfanté un fils à mon seigneur ; et il lui a donné tout ce qu'il a. |

And Sarah, my master's wife, bore a son to my master after she had grown old; and unto him has he given all that he has. |
Y Sara, mujer de mi amo, dio a luz en su vejez un hijo a mi señor, quien le ha dado a él todo cuanto tiene. |

And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell: |
Et mon seigneur m'a fait jurer, disant : Tu ne prendras pas de femme pour mon fils d'entre les filles des Cananéens, dans le pays desquels j'habite ; |

And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanite, in whose land I am dwelling; |
Y mi amo me hizo jurar, diciendo: No tomarás para mi hijo mujer de las hijas de los cananeos, en cuya tierra habito; |

But thou shalt go unto my father’s house, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son. |

And I said unto my master, Peradventure the woman will not follow me. |
Et je dis à mon seigneur : Peut-être la femme ne viendra-t-elle pas après moi. |

And I said to my master, Perhaps the woman will not follow me? |
Y yo dije: Quizá la mujer no querrá seguirme. |

And he said unto me, The Lord, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father’s house: |
Et il me dit : L'Éternel, devant qui je marchef, enverra son ange avec toi et fera prospérer ton voyage, et tu prendras pour mon fils une femme de ma famille et de la maison de mon père. |

And he said to me, Jehovah, before whom I have walked, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way, that thou mayest take a wife for my son of my family, and out of my father's house. |
Entonces él me respondió: Jehová, en cuya presencia he andado, enviará su ángel contigo, y prosperará tu camino; y tomarás para mi hijo mujer de mi familia y de la casa de mi padre. |

Then shalt thou be clear from this my oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and if they give not thee one, thou shalt be clear from my oath. |
Quand tu seras arrivé auprès de ma famille, alors tu seras quitte du sermentg que je te fais faireh ; et, si on ne te la donne pas, tu seras quitte du serment que je te fais faire. |

Then shalt thou be quit of my oath, when thou shalt have come to my family. And if they give thee not one , thou shalt be quit of my oath. |
Entonces serás libre de mi juramento, cuando hayas llegado a mi familia; y si no te la dieren, serás libre de mi juramento. |

And I came this day unto the well, and said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go: |
Et je suis venu aujourd'hui à la fontaine, et j'ai dit : Éternel, Dieu de mon seigneur Abraham, si tu veux bien faire prospérer le voyage que je fais, |

And I came this day to the well, and said, Jehovah, God of my master Abraham, if now thou wilt prosper my way on which I go, |
Llegué, pues, hoy a la fuente, y dije: Jehová, Dios de mi señor Abraham, si tú prosperas ahora mi camino por el cual ando, |

Behold, I stand by the well of water; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin cometh forth to draw water, and I say to her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink; |
voici, je me tiens près de la fontaine d'eau : qu'il arrive que la jeune fille qui sortira pour puiser, et à laquelle je dirai : Donne-moi, je te prie, à boire un peu d'eau de ta cruche, et qui me dira : |

behold, I stand by the well of water, and let it come to pass that the damsel who cometh forth to draw water , and to whom I shall say, Give me, I pray thee, a little water out of thy pitcher to drink, |

And she say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the Lord hath appointed out for my master’s son. |
Bois toi-même, et je puiserai aussi pour tes chameaux, que celle-là soit la femme que l'Éternel a destinée au fils de mon seigneur. |

and she shall say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels--that she should be the woman whom Jehovah hath appointed for my master's son. |
y ella me respondiere: Bebe tú, y también para tus camellos sacaré agua; sea esta la mujer que destinó Jehová para el hijo de mi señor. |

And before I had done speaking in mine heart, behold, Rebekah came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down unto the well, and drew water: and I said unto her, Let me drink, I pray thee. |
Avant que j'eusse achevé de parler en mon cœur, voici sortir Rebecca, sa cruche sur son épaule ; et elle est descendue à la fontaine, et a puisé ; et je lui ai dit : Donne-moi à boire, je te prie. |

Before I ended speaking in my heart, behold, Rebecca came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder, and went down to the well, and drew water ; and I said to her, Give me, I pray thee, to drink. |

And she hasted and let down her pitcher from her shoulder , and said, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also. And I drank; and she gave the camels drink also. |
Y bajó prontamente su cántaro de encima de sí, y dijo: Bebe, y también a tus camellos daré de beber. Y bebí, y dio también de beber a mis camellos. |

And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter art thou? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor’s son, whom Milcah bare unto him: and I put the earring upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands. |
Et je l'ai interrogée, et j'ai dit : De qui es-tu fille ? Et elle a dit : Je suis fille de Bethuel, fils de Nakhor, que Milca lui a enfanté. Et j'ai mis l'anneau à son nez, et les bracelets à ses mains. |

And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter art thou? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor's son, whom Milcah bore to him. And I put the ring on her nose, and the bracelets on her hands. |

And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the Lord, and blessed the Lord God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter unto his son. |
Et je me suis incliné et je me suis prosterné devant l'Éternel, et j'ai béni l'Éternel, le Dieu de mon seigneur Abraham, qui m'a conduit par le vrai chemin, pour prendre la fille du frère de mon seigneur pour son fils. |

And I stooped, and bowed down before Jehovah; and I blessed Jehovah, God of my master Abraham, who has led me the right way to take my master's brother's daughter for his son. |
y me incliné y adoré a Jehová, y bendije a Jehová Dios de mi señor Abraham, que me había guiado por camino de verdad para tomar la hija del hermano de mi señor para su hijo. |

And now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left. |
Et maintenant, si vous voulez user de grâce et de vérité envers mon seigneur, déclarez-le-moi ; et sinon, déclarez-le-moi, et je me tournerai à droite ou à gauche. |

Behold, Rebekah is before thee, take her, and go, and let her be thy master’s son’s wife, as the Lord hath spoken. |
Voici Rebecca devant toi ; prends-la, et t'en va ; et qu'elle soit la femme du fils de ton seigneur, comme l'Éternel l'a dit. |

He ahí Rebeca delante de ti; tómala y vete, y sea mujer del hijo de tu señor, como lo ha dicho Jehová. |

And it came to pass, that, when Abraham’s servant heard their words, he worshipped the Lord, bowing himself to the earth. |
Et il arriva, lorsque le serviteur d'Abraham entendit leurs paroles, qu'il se prosterna en terre devant l'Éternel ; |

And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things. |
et le serviteur sortit des objets d'argent et des objets d'or, et des vêtements, et les donna à Rebecca ; il fit aussi de riches présents à son frère et à sa mère. |

And the servant brought forth silver articles, and gold articles, and clothing, and he gave them to Rebecca; and he gave to her brother, and to her mother, precious things. |
Y sacó el criado alhajas de plata y alhajas de oro, y vestidos, y dio a Rebeca; también dio cosas preciosas a su hermano y a su madre. |

And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master. |
Et ils mangèrent et burent, lui et les hommes qui étaient avec lui, et ils logèrent là ; et ils se levèrent le matin, et il dit : Renvoyez-moi à mon seigneur. |

And they ate and drank, he and the men that were with him, and lodged. And they rose up in the morning; and he said, Send me away to my master. |

And her brother and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us a few days, at the least ten; after that she shall go. |

Et il leur dit : Ne me retardez point, quand l'Éternel a fait prospérer mon voyage ; renvoyez-moi, et que je m'en aille vers mon seigneur. |

Y él les dijo: No me detengáis, ya que Jehová ha prosperado mi camino; despachadme para que me vaya a mi señor. |

And they said, We will call the damsel, and enquire at her mouth. |
Et ils dirent : Appelons la jeune fille, et entendons-laj. |

Ellos respondieron entonces: Llamemos a la doncella y preguntémosle. |

And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Wilt thou go with this man? And she said, I will go. |
Et ils appelèrent Rebecca, et lui dirent : Iras-tu avec cet homme ? Et elle dit : J'irai. |

Et ils bénirent Rebecca, et lui dirent : Toi, notre sœur, deviens des milliers de myriades, et que ta semence possède la porte de ses ennemis ! |

And they blessed Rebecca, and said to her, Thou art our sister; mayest thou become thousands of tens of thousands; and may thy seed possess the gate of their enemies! |
Y bendijeron a Rebeca, y le dijeron: Hermana nuestra, sé madre de millares de millares, y posean tus descendientes la puerta de sus enemigos. |

And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way. |
Et Rebecca se leva, et ses filles ; et elles montèrent sur les chameaux, et s'en allèrent après l'homme. Et le serviteur prit Rebecca, et s'en alla. |

And she had said to the servant, Who is the man that is walking in the fields to meet us? And the servant said, That is my master! Then she took the veil, and covered herself. |
porque había preguntado al criado: ¿Quién es este varón que viene por el campo hacia nosotros? Y el criado había respondido: Este es mi señor. Ella entonces tomó el velo, y se cubrió. |
