And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And it came to pass after these things, that God tried Abraham, and said to him, Abraham! and he said, Here am I. Aconteció después de estas cosas, que probó Dios a Abraham, y le dijo: Abraham. Y él respondió: Heme aquí.
And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son , whom thou lovest, Isaac, and get thee into the land of Moriah, and there offer him up for a burnt-offering on one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he clave the wood for the burnt-offering, and rose up and went to the place that God had told him of.
Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar.
And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. And Abraham said to his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you.
And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt-offering, and laid it on Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and the knife, and they went both of them together.
And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, My father! And he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood; but where is the sheep for a burnt-offering?
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself with the sheep for a burnt-offering. And they went both of them together. E iban juntos.
And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built the altar there, and piled the wood; and he bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And Abraham stretched out his hand, and took the knife to slaughter his son.
And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. Mais l'Ange de l'Éternel lui cria des cieux, et dit : Abraham ! Abraham ! Et il dit : Me voici. And the Angel of Jehovah called to him from the heavens, and said, Abraham, Abraham! And he said, Here am I. Entonces el ángel de Jehová le dio voces desde el cielo, y dijo: Abraham, Abraham. Y él respondió: Heme aquí.
And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And he said, Stretch not out thy hand against the lad, neither do anything to him; for now I know that thou fearest God, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son , from me.
And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold, behind was a ram caught in the thicket by its horns; and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt-offering instead of his son.
And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah–jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh; as it is said at the present day, On the mount of Jehovah will be provided.
And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, Et l'Ange de l'Éternel cria des cieux à Abraham, une seconde fois, And the Angel of Jehovah called to Abraham from the heavens a second time, Y llamó el ángel de Jehová a Abraham por segunda vez desde el cielo,
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: et dit : J'ai juré par moi-même, dit l'Éternel : Parce que tu as fait cette chose-là, et que tu n'as pas refusé ton fils, ton unique, and said, By myself I swear, saith Jehovah, that, because thou hast done this, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son , y dijo: Por mí mismo he jurado, dice Jehová, que por cuanto has hecho esto, y no me has rehusado tu hijo, tu único hijo;
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; certainement je te bénirai, et je multiplierai abondamment ta semence comme les étoiles des cieux et comme le sable qui est sur le bord de la mer ; et ta semence possédera la porte de ses ennemis. I will richly bless thee, and greatly multiply thy seed, as the stars of heaven, and as the sand that is on the sea-shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; de cierto te bendeciré, y multiplicaréd tu descendencia como las estrellas del cielo y como la arena que está a la orilla del mar;e y tu descendencia poseerá las puertas de sus enemigos.
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Et toutes les nations de la terre se bénirontc en ta semence, parce que tu as écouté ma voix. and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth bless themselves, because thou hast hearkened to my voice.
So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer–sheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beer–sheba. And Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beer-sheba. And Abraham dwelt at Beer-sheba.
And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor; ☆ Et il arriva, après ces choses, qu'on rapporta à Abraham en disant : Voici, Milca, elle aussi, a enfanté des enfants à Nakhor, ton frère : And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she also has borne sons to thy brother Nahor: Aconteció después de estas cosas, que fue dada noticia a Abraham, diciendo: He aquí que también Milca ha dado a luz hijos a Nacor tu hermano:
Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram, Uts, son premier-né ; et Buz, son frère ; et Kemuel, père d'Aram ; Uz his first-born, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram, Uz su primogénito, Buz su hermano, Kemuel padre de Aram,
And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. et Késed, et Hazo, et Pildash, et Jidlaph, et Bethuel. and Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. Quesed, Hazo, Pildas, Jidlaf y Betuel.
And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham’s brother. Or Bethuel engendra Rebecca. Milca enfanta ces huit à Nakhor, frère d'Abraham. (And Bethuel begot Rebecca.) These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham's brother.
And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah. And his concubine, named Reumah, she also bore Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maacah.
