And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; |
☆ Et l'Éternel lui apparut auprès des chênes de Mamré ; et il était assis à l'entrée de la tente, pendant la chaleur du jour. |

And Jehovah appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre. And he sat at the tent-door in the heat of the day. |
Después le apareció Jehová en el encinar de Mamre, estando él sentado a la puerta de su tienda en el calor del día. |

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, |
Et il leva les yeux et regarda ; et voici, trois hommes se tenaient près de lui ; et quand il les vit, il courut de l'entrée de la tente à leur rencontre, et se prosterna en terre ; |

And he lifted up his eyes and saw, and behold, three men standing near him. And when he saw them , he ran to meet them from the tent-door, and bowed himself to the earth, |
Y alzó sus ojos y miró, y he aquí tres varones que estaban junto a él; y cuando los vio, salió corriendo de la puerta de su tienda a recibirlos, y se postró en tierra, |

And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: |
et il dit : Seigneur, si j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, ne passe point outre, je te prie, d'auprès de ton serviteur. |

and said, Lord, if now I have found favour in thine eyes, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant. |
y dijo: Señor, si ahora he hallado gracia en tus ojos, te ruego que no pases de tu siervo. |

Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: |
Qu'on prenne, je te prie, un peu d'eau, et vous laverez vos pieds, et vous vous reposerez sous l'arbre ; |

Que se traiga ahora un poco de agua, y lavad vuestros pies; y recostaos debajo de un árbol, |

And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. |
et je prendrai un morceau de pain, et vous réconforterez votre cœur, après quoi vous passerez outre ; car c'est pour cela que vous avez passé près de votre serviteur. Et ils dirent : Fais ainsi, comme tu l'as dit. |

And I will fetch a morsel of bread; and refresh yourselves; after that ye shall pass on; for therefore have ye passed on towards your servant. And they said, So do as thou hast said. |
y traeré un bocado de pan, y sustentad vuestro corazón, y después pasaréis; pues por eso habéis pasado cerca de vuestro siervo. Y ellos dijeron: Haz así como has dicho. |

And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth. |
Et Abraham alla en hâte dans la tente vers Sara, et dit : Prends vite trois mesuresa de fleur de farine, pétris, et fais des gâteaux. |

And Abraham hastened into the tent to Sarah, and said, Knead quickly three seahs of wheaten flour, and make cakes. |
Entonces Abraham fue de prisa a la tienda a Sara, y le dijo: Toma pronto tres medidas de flor de harina, y amasa y haz panes cocidos debajo del rescoldo. |

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. |
Et Abraham courut au troupeau, et prit un veau tendre et bon, et le donna à un jeune homme qui se hâta de l'apprêter. |

Y corrió Abraham a las vacas, y tomó un becerro tierno y bueno, y lo dio al criado, y este se dio prisa a prepararlo. |

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat. |
Et il prit de la crème et du lait, et le veau qu'il avait apprêté, et le mit devant eux, et il se tint auprès d'eux sous l'arbre, et ils mangèrent. |

And he took thick and sweet milk, and the calf that he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood before them under the tree, and they ate. |
Tomó también mantequilla y leche, y el becerro que había preparado, y lo puso delante de ellos; y él se estuvo con ellos debajo del árbol, y comieron. |

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. |
Et ils lui dirent : Où est Sara, ta femme ? Et il dit : Voici, dans la tente. |

And they said to him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. |
Y le dijeron: ¿Dónde está Sara tu mujer? Y él respondió: Aquí en la tienda. |

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. |
Et il dit : Je reviendrai certainement vers toi quand [son] terme sera làb, et voici, Sara, ta femme, aura un fils. Et Sara écoutaitc à l'entrée de la tente, qui était derrière lui. |

And he said, I will certainly return to thee at this time of the year, and behold, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah was listening at the tent-door, which was behind him. |
Entonces dijo: De cierto volveré a ti; y según el tiempo de la vida, he aquí que Sara tu mujer tendrá un hijo.a Y Sara escuchaba a la puerta de la tienda, que estaba detrás de él. |

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. |
Or Abraham et Sara étaient vieux, avancés en âge ; Sara avait cessé d'avoir ce qu'ont les femmes. |

Y Abraham y Sara eran viejos, de edad avanzada; y a Sara le había cesado ya la costumbre de las mujeres. |

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? |
Et Sara rit en elle-même, disant : Étant vieille, aurai-je du plaisir ? … mon seigneur aussi est âgé. |

And Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am become old, shall I have pleasure, and my lord old? |
Se rio, pues, Sara entre sí, diciendo: ¿Después que he envejecido tendré deleite, siendo también mi señorb ya viejo? |

And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? |
Et l'Éternel dit à Abraham : Pourquoi Sara a-t-elle ri, disant : Est-ce que vraiment j'aurai un enfant, moi qui suis vieille ? |

And Jehovah said to Abraham, Why is this, that Sarah laughs, saying, Shall I indeed bear, when I am become old? |
Entonces Jehová dijo a Abraham: ¿Por qué se ha reído Sara diciendo: Será cierto que he de dar a luz siendo ya vieja? |

Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. |
Y a-t-il quelque chose qui soit trop difficile pour l'Éternel ? Au temps fixé je reviendrai vers toi, quand [son] terme sera làb, et Sara aura un fils. |

Is any matter too wonderful for Jehovah? At the time appointed I will return to thee, at this time of the year, and Sarah shall have a son. |
¿Hay para Dios alguna cosa difícil?c Al tiempo señalado volveré a ti, y según el tiempo de la vida, Sara tendrá un hijo. |

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh. |
Et Sara [le] nia, disant : Je n'ai pas ri ; car elle eut peur. Et il dit : Non, car tu as ri. |

And Sarah denied, saying, I did not laugh; for she was afraid. And he said, No; but thou didst laugh. |
Entonces Sara negó, diciendo: No me reí; porque tuvo miedo. Y él dijo: No es así, sino que te has reído. |

And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way. |
Et les hommes se levèrent de là, et regardèrent du côté de Sodome ; et Abraham allait avec eux pour leur faire la conduite. |

Y los varones se levantaron de allí, y miraron hacia Sodoma; y Abraham iba con ellos acompañándolos. |

And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; |
Et l'Éternel dit : Cacherai-je à Abraham ce que je vais faire, |

And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing? |
Y Jehová dijo: ¿Encubriré yo a Abraham lo que voy a hacer, |
| 18 |
Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? |
puisque Abraham doit certainement devenir une nation grande et forte, et qu'en lui seront bénies toutes les nations de la terre ? |

Since Abraham shall indeed become a great and mighty nation; and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him. |
habiendo de ser Abraham una nación grande y fuerte, y habiendo de ser benditas en él todas las naciones de la tierra? |
| 19 |
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. |
Car je le connais, [et je sais] qu'il commandera à ses fils et à sa maison après lui de garder la voie de l'Éternel, pour pratiquer ce qui est juste et droit, afin que l'Éternel fasse venir sur Abraham ce qu'il a dit à son égard. |
|
For I know him that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice, in order that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham what he hath spoken of him. |
Porque yo sé que mandará a sus hijos y a su casa después de sí, que guarden el camino de Jehová, haciendo justicia y juicio, para que haga venir Jehová sobre Abraham lo que ha hablado acerca de él. |
| 20 |
And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; |
Et l'Éternel dit : Parce que le cri de Sodome et de Gomorrhe est grand, et que leur péché est très-aggravé, |

And Jehovah said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grievous, |
Entonces Jehová le dijo: Por cuanto el clamor contra Sodoma y Gomorra se aumenta más y más, y el pecado de ellos se ha agravado en extremo, |

I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. |
eh bien, je descendrai, et je verrai s'ils ont fait entièrement selon le cri qui en est venu jusqu'à moi ; et sinon, je le saurai. |

And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the Lord. |
Et les hommes se détournèrent de là, et ils allaient vers Sodome ; et Abraham se tenait encore devant l'Éternel. |

And the men turned thence, and went towards Sodom; and Abraham remained yet standing before Jehovah. |
Y se apartaron de allí los varones, y fueron hacia Sodoma; pero Abraham estaba aún delante de Jehová. |
| 23 |
And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? |
Et Abraham s'approcha, et dit : Feras-tu périr le juste avec le méchant ? |

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also cause the righteous to perish with the wicked? |
Y se acercó Abraham y dijo: ¿Destruirás también al justo con el impío? |
| 24 |
Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? |
Peut-être y a-t-il cinquante justes dans la ville ; [la] détruiras-tu, et ne pardonneras-tu pas à la villed à cause des cinquante justes qui seront en elle ? |

There are perhaps fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not forgive the place for the sake of the fifty righteous that are therein? |
Quizá haya cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad: ¿destruirás también y no perdonarás al lugar por amor a los cincuenta justos que estén dentro de él? |
| 25 |
That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? |
Loin de toi d'agir de cette manière, de faire mourir le juste avec le méchant, et qu'il en soit du juste comme du méchant ! Loin de toi ! Le juge de toute la terre ne fera-t-il pas ce qui est juste ? |

Far be it from thee to do so, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that the righteous should be as the wicked--far be it from thee! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right? |
Lejos de ti el hacer tal, que hagas morir al justo con el impío, y que sea el justo tratado como el impío; nunca tal hagas. El Juez de toda la tierra, ¿no ha de hacer lo que es justo? |
| 26 |
And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. |
Et l'Éternel dit : Si je trouve dans Sodome cinquante justes, au dedans de la ville, je pardonnerai à tout le lieu à cause d'eux. |

And Jehovah said, If I find at Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will forgive all the place for their sakes. |
Entonces respondió Jehová: Si hallare en Sodoma cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad, perdonaré a todo este lugar por amor a ellos. |
| 27 |
And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes: |
Et Abraham répondit et dit : Voici, je te prie, j'ai osé parler au Seigneur, moi qui suis poussière et cendre. |

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have ventured to speak unto the Lord; I, who am dust and ashes. |
Y Abraham replicó y dijo: He aquí ahora que he comenzado a hablar a mi Señor, aunque soy polvo y ceniza. |
| 28 |
Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it. |
Peut-être en manquera-t-il cinq, des cinquante justes ; détruiras-tu pour cinq toute la ville ? Et il dit : Je ne la détruirai pas, si j'y en trouve quarante-cinq. |

Perhaps there may want five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city on account of the five? And he said, If I shall find forty-five there, I will not destroy it . |
Quizá faltarán de cincuenta justos cinco; ¿destruirás por aquellos cinco toda la ciudad? Y dijo: No la destruiré, si hallare allí cuarenta y cinco. |

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake. |
Et il continua encore de lui parler, et dit : Peut-être s'y en trouvera-t-il quarante ? Et il dit : Je ne le ferai pas, à cause des quarante. |

And he continued yet to speak with him, and said, Perhaps there may be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for the forty's sake. |
Y volvió a hablarle, y dijo: Quizá se hallarán allí cuarenta. Y respondió: No lo haré por amor a los cuarenta. |
| 30 |
And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. |
Et il dit : Je te prie, que le Seigneur ne s'irrite pas, et je parlerai : Peut-être s'y en trouvera-t-il trente ? Et il dit : Je ne le ferai pas, si j'y en trouve trente. |

And he said, Oh, let not the Lord be angry that I speak! Perhaps there may be thirty found there. And he said, I will not do it if I find thirty there. |
Y dijo: No se enoje ahora mi Señor, si hablare: quizá se hallarán allí treinta. Y respondió: No lo haré si hallare allí treinta. |
| 31 |
And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake. |
Et il dit : Voici, j'ai osé parler au Seigneur : Peut-être s'y en trouvera-t-il vingt ? Et il dit : Je ne la détruirai pas, à cause des vingt. |

And he said, Behold now, I have ventured to speak with the Lord. Perhaps there may be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for the twenty's sake. |
Y dijo: He aquí ahora que he emprendido el hablar a mi Señor: quizá se hallarán allí veinte. No la destruiré, respondió, por amor a los veinte. |
| 32 |
And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake. |
Et il dit : Je te prie, que le Seigneur ne s'irrite pas, et je parlerai encore une seule fois : Peut-être s'y en trouvera-t-il dix ? Et il dit : Je ne la détruirai pas, à cause des dix. |

And he said, Oh, let not the Lord be angry, that I speak yet but this time! Perhaps there may be ten found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for the ten's sake. |
Y volvió a decir: No se enoje ahora mi Señor, si hablare solamente una vez: quizá se hallarán allí diez. No la destruiré, respondió, por amor a los diez. |

And the Lord went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place. |
Et l'Éternel s'en alla quand il eut achevé de parler à Abraham ; et Abraham s'en retourna en son lieu. |

And Jehovah went away when he had ended speaking to Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place. |
Y Jehová se fue, luego que acabó de hablar a Abraham; y Abraham volvió a su lugar. |
