And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. |
Et le pays ne pouvait les porter pour qu'ils habitassent ensemble ; car leur bien était grand, et ils ne pouvaient habiter ensemble. |

Y la tierra no era suficiente para que habitasen juntos, pues sus posesiones eran muchas, y no podían morar en un mismo lugar. |

And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. |
Et il y eut querelle entre les bergers des troupeaux d'Abram et les bergers des troupeaux de Lot. Et le Cananéen et le Phérézien habitaient alors dans le pays. |

And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram's cattle and the herdsmen of Lot's cattle. And the Canaanite and the Perizzite were dwelling then in the land. |
Y hubo contienda entre los pastores del ganado de Abram y los pastores del ganado de Lot; y el cananeo y el ferezeo habitaban entonces en la tierra. |

And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren. |
Et Abram dit à Lot : Qu'il n'y ait point, je te prie, de contestation entre moi et toi, et entre mes bergers et tes bergers, car nous sommes frèresb. |

And Abram said to Lot, I pray thee let there be no contention between me and thee, and between my herdsmen and thy herdsmen, for we are brethren. |
Entonces Abram dijo a Lot: No haya ahora altercado entre nosotros dos, entre mis pastores y los tuyos, porque somos hermanos. |

Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. |
Tout le pays n'est-il pas devant toi ? Sépare-toi, je te prie, d'avec moi. Si [tu prends] la gauche, j'irai à droite ; et si [tu prends] la droite, j'irai à gauche. |

Is not the whole land before thee? Separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if to the left, then I will take the right; and if to the right, then I will take the left. |
¿No está toda la tierra delante de ti? Yo te ruego que te apartes de mí. Si fueres a la mano izquierda, yo iré a la derecha; y si tú a la derecha, yo iré a la izquierda. |

And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. |
Et Lot leva ses yeux et vit toute la plaine du Jourdain, qui était arrosée partout, avant que l'Éternel détruisît Sodome et Gomorrhe, comme le jardin de l'Éternel, comme le pays d'Égypte, quand tu viens à Tsoar. |

And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of the Jordan that it was thoroughly watered, before Jehovah had destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah; as the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as one goes to Zoar. |
Y alzó Lot sus ojos, y vio toda la llanura del Jordán, que toda ella era de riego, como el huerto de Jehová,a como la tierra de Egipto en la dirección de Zoar, antes que destruyese Jehová a Sodoma y a Gomorra. |

Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. |
Et Lot choisit pour lui toute la plaine du Jourdain ; et Lot partit vers l'orient. Et ils se séparèrent l'un de l'autre : |

Entonces Lot escogió para sí toda la llanura del Jordán; y se fue Lot hacia el oriente, y se apartaron el uno del otro. |

Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. |
Abram habita dans le pays de Canaan, et Lot habita dans les villes de la plaine, et dressa ses tentes jusqu'à Sodome. |

Abram acampó en la tierra de Canaán, en tanto que Lot habitó en las ciudades de la llanura, y fue poniendo sus tiendas hasta Sodoma. |

But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly. |
Or les hommes de Sodome étaient méchants, et grands pécheurs devant l'Éternel. |

Mas los hombres de Sodoma eran malos y pecadores contra Jehová en gran manera. |

And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: |
Et l'Éternel dit à Abram, après que Lot se fut séparé de lui : Lève tes yeux, et regarde, du lieu où tu es, vers le nord, et vers le midi, et vers l'orient, et vers l'occident ; |

And Jehovah said to Abram, after that Lot had separated himself from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art, northward and southward and eastward and westward; |
Y Jehová dijo a Abram, después que Lot se apartó de él: Alza ahora tus ojos, y mira desde el lugar donde estás hacia el norte y el sur, y al oriente y al occidente. |

For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. |
car tout le pays que tu vois, je te le donnerai, et à ta semence, pour toujours ; |

Porque toda la tierra que ves, la daré a ti y a tu descendencia para siempre.b |

And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. |
et je ferai que ta semence sera comme la poussière de la terre ; en sorte que, si quelqu'un peut compter la poussière de la terre, ta semence aussi sera comptée. |

Y haré tu descendencia como el polvo de la tierra; que si alguno puede contar el polvo de la tierra, también tu descendencia será contada. |

Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord. |
Et Abram leva ses tentes, et vint et habita auprès des chênes de Mamré, qui sont à Hébron ; et il bâtit là un autel à l'Éternel. |
