Y mis mandamientos guardares dentro de ti,
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; pour rendre ton oreille attentive à la sagesse, si tu inclines ton cœur à l'intelligence, so that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom and thou apply thy heart to understanding; Haciendo estar atento tu oído a la sabiduría;
Si inclinares tu corazón a la prudencia,
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; si tu appelles le discernement, si tu adresses ta voix à l'intelligence, yea, if thou criest after discernment and liftest up thy voice to understanding; Si clamares a la inteligencia,
Y a la prudencia dieres tu voz;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; si tu la cherches comme de l'argent et que tu la recherches comme des trésors cachés, if thou seekest her as silver and searchest for her as for hidden treasures: Si como a la plata la buscares,
Y la escudriñares como a tesoros,
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. alors tu comprendras la crainte de l'Éternel et tu trouveras la connaissance de Dieu. then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah, and find the knowledge of God. Entonces entenderás el temor de Jehová,

6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Car l'Éternel donne la sagesse ; de sa bouche [procèdent] la connaissance et l'intelligence : For Jehovah giveth wisdom; out of his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Porque Jehová da la sabiduría,
Y de su boca viene el conocimiento y la inteligencia.
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. il réserve de sains conseilsa pour les hommes droits ; il est un bouclier pour ceux qui marchent dans l'intégrité, He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to them that walk in integrity; Él provee de sana sabiduría a los rectos;
Es escudo a los que caminan rectamente.
8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. protégeant les sentiers de juste jugement et gardant la voie de ses saintsb. guarding the paths of just judgment and keeping the way of his godly ones. Es el que guarda las veredas del juicio,
Y preserva el camino de sus santos.
9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. Alors tu discerneras la justice et le juste jugement et la droiture, toute bonne voie. Then shalt thou understand righteousness and judgment and equity: every good path. Entonces entenderás justicia, juicio
Y equidad, y todo buen camino.
10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Si la sagesse entre dans ton cœur et si la connaissance est agréable à ton âme, When wisdom entereth into thy heart and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul, Cuando la sabiduría entrare en tu corazón,
Y la ciencia fuere grata a tu alma,
11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: la réflexion te préservera, l'intelligence te protégera : discretion shall keep thee, understanding shall preserve thee: La discreción te guardará;
Te preservará la inteligencia,
12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; Pour te sauver du mauvais chemin, de l'homme qui prononce des choses perverses, To deliver thee from the way of evil, from the man that speaketh froward things; Para librarte del mal camino,
De los hombres que hablan perversidades,
13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; [de ceux] qui abandonnent les sentiers de la droiture pour marcher dans les voies de ténèbres, from those who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; Que dejan los caminos derechos,
Para andar por sendas tenebrosas;

Que se huelgan en las perversidades del vicio;

Y torcidos sus caminos.

De la ajena que halaga con sus palabras,

Y se olvida del pacto de su Dios.

Y sus veredas hacia los muertos;
19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life. aucun de ceux qui entrent auprès d'elle ne revient ni n'atteint les sentiers de la vie ; none that go unto her return again, neither do they attain to the paths of life: Todos los que a ella se lleguen, no volverán,
Ni seguirán otra vez los senderos de la vida.
20 That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous. — afin que tu marches dans la voie des gens de bien, et que tu gardes les sentiers des justes. --that thou mayest walk in the way of the good, and keep the paths of the righteous. Así andarás por el camino de los buenos,
Y seguirás las veredas de los justos;
21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. Car les hommes droits habiteront le pays, et les hommes intègres y demeureront de reste ; For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it; Porque los rectos habitarán la tierra,
Y los perfectos permanecerán en ella,
22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. mais les méchants seront retranchés du pays, et les perfides en seront arrachés. but the wicked shall be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful shall be plucked up out of it. Mas los impíos serán cortados de la tierra,
Y los prevaricadores serán de ella desarraigados.
