2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man. Certes, moi je suis plus stupide que personne, et je n'ai pas l'intelligence d'un homme ; Truly *I* am more stupid than any one; and I have not a man's intelligence. Ciertamente más rudo soy yo que ninguno,
Ni tengo entendimiento de hombre.

4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell? Qui est monté dans les cieux, et qui en est descendu ? Qui a rassemblé le vent dans le creux de ses mains ? Qui a serré les eaux dans un manteau ? Qui a établi toutes les bornes de la terre ? No me las niegues antes que muera:

9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. de peur que je ne sois rassasié, et que je ne te renie et ne dise : Qui est l'Éternel ? et de peur que je ne sois appauvri, et que je ne dérobe, et que je ne parjure led nom de mon Dieu. lest I be full and deny thee , and say, Who is Jehovah? or lest I be poor and steal, and outrage the name of my God. No sea que me sacie, y te niegue, y diga: ¿Quién es Jehová?
O que siendo pobre, hurte,
Y blasfeme el nombre de mi Dios.
10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty. N'accuse pas un serviteur auprès de son maître, de peur qu'il ne te maudisse, et que tu n'en portes la peine. 20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness. Y la cuarta ella no puede sufrir:
22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat; sous le serviteur quand il règne, et l'homme vil quand il est rassasié de pain ; Under a servant when he reigneth, and a churl when he is filled with meat; Por el siervo cuando reina;
Por el necio cuando se sacia de pan;

Y las mismas son más sabias que los sabios:

Y en el verano preparan su comida;
26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; les damansf, peuple sans puissance, et qui ont placé leurs maisons dans le rocher ; the rock-badgers are but a feeble folk, yet they make their house in the cliff; Los conejos, pueblo nada esforzado,
Y ponen su casa en la piedra;

Y salen todas por cuadrillas;
28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces. tu saisis le lézard avec les mains, et il est dans les palais des rois. thou takest hold of the lizard with the hands, yet is she in kings' palaces. La araña que atrapas con la mano,
Y está en palacios de rey.
29 There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going: Il y a trois choses qui ont une belle allure, et quatre qui ont une belle démarche : There are three things which have a stately step, and four are comely in going: Tres cosas hay de hermoso andar,
Y la cuarta pasea muy bien:
30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any; le lion, le fort parmi les bêtes, et qui ne se détourne devant qui que ce soit ; The lion, mighty among beasts, which turneth not away for any; El león, fuerte entre todos los animales,
Que no vuelve atrás por nada;
31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up. le [coursier] qui a les reins ceints ; ou le bouc ; et le roi, contre qui personne ne peut se lever. a horse girt in the loins; or the he-goat; and a king, against whom none can rise up. El ceñido de lomos; asimismo el macho cabrío;
Y el rey, a quien nadie resiste.
32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth. 33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.
