2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. Les trésors de la méchanceté ne profitent de rien, mais la justice délivre de la mort. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; but righteousness delivereth from death. Los tesoros de maldad no serán de provecho;
Mas la justicia libra de muerte.
3 The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. L'Éternel ne laisse pas l'âme du juste avoir faim, mais il repousse l'avidité des méchants. Jehovah suffereth not the soul of the righteous man to famish; but he repelleth the craving of the wicked. Jehová no dejará padecer hambre al justo;
Mas la iniquidad lanzará a los impíos.
4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. Celui qui agit d'une main lâche devient pauvre, mais la main des diligents enrichit. He cometh to want that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. La mano negligente empobrece;
Mas la mano de los diligentes enriquece.
5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. Celui qui amasse en été est un fils sage ; celui qui dort durant la moisson est un fils qui fait honte. 6 Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Il y a des bénédictions sur la tête du juste, mais la bouche des méchants couvre la violenceb. Blessings are upon the head of a righteous man ; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence. Hay bendiciones sobre la cabeza del justo;
Pero violencia cubrirá la boca de los impíos.
7 The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot. La mémoire du juste est en bénédiction, mais le nom des méchants tombe en pourriture. The memory of the righteous man shall be blessed; but the name of the wicked shall rot. La memoria del justo será bendita;
Mas el nombre de los impíos se pudrirá.
8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall. Celui qui est sage de cœur reçoit les commandements, mais l'insensé de lèvres tombe. The wise in heart receiveth commandments; but a prating fool shall fall. El sabio de corazón recibirá los mandamientos;
Mas el necio de labios caerá.
9 He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. Celui qui marche dans l'intégrité marche en sûreté, mais celui qui pervertit ses voies sera connu. He that walketh in integrity walketh securely; but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. El que camina en integridad anda confiado;
Mas el que pervierte sus caminos será quebrantado.
10 He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall. Celui qui cligne de l'œil cause du chagrin, et l'insensé de lèvres tombe. He that winketh with the eye causeth grief, and a prating fool shall fall. El que guiña el ojo acarrea tristeza;
Y el necio de labios será castigado.
11 The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. La bouche du juste est une fontaine de vie, mais la bouche des méchants couvre la violencec. The mouth of a righteous man is a fountain of life; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence. Manantial de vida es la boca del justo;
Pero violencia cubrirá la boca de los impíos.
12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins. La haine excite les querelles, mais l'amour couvre toutes les transgressions. Hatred stirreth up strifes; but love covereth all transgressions. El odio despierta rencillas;

13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. Sur les lèvres de l'homme intelligent se trouve la sagesse, mais la verge est pour le dos de celui qui est dépourvu de sens. 14 Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. Les sages tiennent en réserve la connaissance, mais la ruine est près de la bouche du foud. The wise lay up knowledge; but the mouth of the fool is near destruction. Los sabios guardan la sabiduría;
Mas la boca del necio es calamidad cercana.
15 The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty. Les biens du riche sont sa ville forte ; la ruine des misérables, c'est leur pauvreté. The rich man's wealth is his strong city; the destruction of the poor is their poverty. Las riquezas del rico son su ciudad fortificada;
Y el desmayo de los pobres es su pobreza.
16 The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin. L'œuvre du juste est pour la vie, le revenu du méchant est pour le péché. The labour of a righteous man tendeth to life; the revenue of a wicked man , to sin. La obra del justo es para vida;
Mas el fruto del impío es para pecado.
17 He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. Garder l'instructione, [c'est] le sentier [qui mène] à la vie ; mais celui qui abandonne la répréhension s'égare. Keeping instruction is the path to life; but he that forsaketh reproof goeth astray. Camino a la vida es guardar la instrucción;
Pero quien desecha la reprensión, yerra.
18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. Celui qui couvre la haine a des lèvres menteuses, et celui qui propage les calomnies est un sot. He that covereth hatred hath lying lips, and he that sendeth forth a slander is a fool. El que encubre el odio es de labios mentirosos;
Y el que propaga calumnia es necio.
19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise. Dans la multitude des paroles la transgression ne manque pas, mais celui qui retient ses lèvres est sage. In the multitude of words there wanteth not transgression; but he that restraineth his lips doeth wisely. En las muchas palabras no falta pecado;
Mas el que refrena sus labios es prudente.
20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth. La langue du juste est de l'argent choisi, le cœur des méchants est peu de chose. The tongue of the righteous man is as choice silver; the heart of the wicked is little worth. Plata escogida es la lengua del justo;
Mas el corazón de los impíos es como nada.
21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom. Les lèvres du juste en repaissent plusieurs, mais les fous mourront faute de sens. The lips of a righteous man feed many; but fools die for want of understanding. Los labios del justo apacientan a muchos,
Mas los necios mueren por falta de entendimiento.
22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. La bénédiction de l'Éternel est ce qui enrichit, et il n'y ajoute aucune peinef. The blessing of Jehovah, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow to it. La bendición de Jehová es la que enriquece,
Y no añade tristeza con ella.
23 It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom. C'est comme une plaisanterie pour le sot que de commettre un crime, mais la sagesse est pour l'homme intelligent. It is as sport to a foolish man to do wickedness; but a man of understanding hath wisdom. El hacer maldad es como una diversión al insensato;
Mas la sabiduría recrea al hombre de entendimiento.
24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. Ce que craint le méchant lui arrive, mais le désir des justes [Dieu] l'accorde. The fear of a wicked man , it shall come upon him; but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. Lo que el impío teme, eso le vendrá;
Pero a los justos les será dado lo que desean.
25 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation. Comme passe le tourbillon, ainsi le méchant n'est plus ; mais le juste est un fondement pour toujours. As a whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more ; but the righteous is an everlasting foundation. Como pasa el torbellino, así el malo no permanece;
Mas el justo permanece para siempre.
26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him. Ce que le vinaigre est aux dents, et la fumée aux yeux, tel est le paresseux pour ceux qui l'envoient. Así es el perezoso a los que lo envían.
27 The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. La crainte de l'Éternel ajoute des jours, mais les années des méchants seront raccourcies. The fear of Jehovah prolongeth days; but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. El temor de Jehová aumentará los días;
Mas los años de los impíos serán acortados.
28 The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. L'attente des justes est une joie, mais l'espérance des méchants périra. The hope of the righteous is joy; but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. La esperanza de los justos es alegría;
Mas la esperanza de los impíos perecerá.
29 The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. La voie de l'Éternel est la force pour l'homme intègre, mais elle est la ruine pour les ouvriers d'iniquité. The way of Jehovah is strength to the perfect man , but destruction to the workers of iniquity. El camino de Jehová es fortaleza al perfecto;
Pero es destrucción a los que hacen maldad.
30 The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. Le juste ne sera jamais ébranlé, mais les méchants n'habiteront pas le paysg. The righteous man shall never be moved; but the wicked shall not inhabit the land. El justo no será removido jamás;
Pero los impíos no habitarán la tierra.
31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out. La bouche du juste produit la sagesse, mais la langue perverse sera retranchée. The mouth of a righteous man putteth forth wisdom; but the froward tongue shall be cut out. La boca del justo producirá sabiduría;
Mas la lengua perversa será cortada.
32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. Les lèvres du juste savent ce qui est agréable, mais la bouche des méchants n'est que perversité. The lips of a righteous man know what is acceptable; but the mouth of the wicked is frowardness. Los labios del justo saben hablar lo que agrada;
Mas la boca de los impíos habla perversidades.
