1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion. Le méchant se sauve quand personne ne le poursuit, mais les justes sont pleins d'assurance comme un jeune lion. The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are bold as a lion. Huye el impío sin que nadie lo persiga;
2 For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged. À cause de l'iniquité d'un pays, ses princes sont nombreux ; mais, par un homme intelligent qui a de la connaissance, la stabilité se prolonge. By the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; but by a man of understanding and of knowledge, its stability is prolonged. Por la rebelión de la tierra sus príncipes son muchos;
3 A poor man that oppresseth the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food. A poor man who oppresseth the helpless is a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. Ceux qui abandonnent la loi louent les méchants, mais ceux qui gardent la loi leur font la guerre. They that forsake the law praise the wicked; but such as keep the law contend with them. Los que dejan la ley alaban a los impíos;
5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things. Les hommes adonnés au mal ne comprennent pas le juste jugement, mais ceux qui cherchent l'Éternel comprennent tout. Evil men understand not judgment; but they that seek Jehovah understand everything. Los hombres malos no entienden el juicio;
6 Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich. Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse, double in ways, though he be rich.
7 Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father. Qui garde la loi est un fils intelligent ; mais le compagnon des débauchés fait honte à son père. Whoso observeth the law is a son that hath understanding; but he that is a companion of profligates bringeth shame to his father. El que guarda la ley es hijo prudente;
8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor. He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance gathereth it for him that is gracious to the poor.
9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
10 Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession. Whoso causeth the upright to go astray in an evil way, shall himself fall into his own pit; but the perfect shall inherit good.
Él caerá en su misma fosa;
Mas los perfectos heredarán el bien.
11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out. L'homme riche est sage à ses yeux, mais le pauvre qui est intelligent le sonde. A rich man is wise in his own eyes; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out. El hombre rico es sabio en su propia opinión;
Mas el pobre entendido lo escudriña.
12 When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden. Quand les justes se réjouissent il y a beaucoup de gloire ; mais quand les méchants se lèvent, les hommes se cachent. When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men conceal themselves. Cuando los justos se alegran, grande es la gloria;
13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Celui qui cache ses transgressions ne prospérera point, mais celui qui les confesse et les abandonne obtiendra miséricorde. He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy. El que encubre sus pecados no prosperará;
14 Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. Bienheureux l'homme qui craint continuellement ; mais celui qui endurcit son cœur tombera dans le malheur. Happy is the man that feareth always; but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into evil. Bienaventurado el hombre que siempre teme a Dios;
15 As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people. A roaring lion, and a ranging bear, is a wicked ruler over a poor people.
16 The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. Le prince privé d'intelligence opprime beaucoup, [mais] celui qui hait le gain déshonnête prolongera [ses] jours. The prince void of intelligence is also a great oppressor: he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. El príncipe falto de entendimiento multiplicará la extorsión;
17 A man that doeth violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him. A man laden with the blood of any person, fleeth to the pit: let no man stay him.
18 Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once. Qui marche dans l'intégrité sera sauvé, mais qui suit tortueusement deux voies tombera une fois pour toutesa. Whoso walketh in integrity shall be saved; but he that is perverted in his double ways, shall fall in one of them . El que en integridad camina será salvo;
19 He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. Qui laboure sa terre sera rassasié de pain, mais qui court après les fainéants sera rassasié de pauvreté. He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread; but he that followeth the worthless shall have poverty enough. El que labra su tierra se saciará de pan;
20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. L'homme fidèle abonde en bénédictions, mais celui qui a hâte de s'enrichir ne demeurera pas innocent. A faithful man aboundeth with blessings; but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. El hombre de verdad tendrá muchas bendiciones;
21 To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress. Faire acception des personnes n'est pas bien ; même pour un morceau de pain un homme commettra une transgression. To have respect of persons is not good; but for a piece of bread will a man transgress. Hacer acepción de personas no es bueno;
22 He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him. He that hath an evil eye hasteth after wealth, and knoweth not that poverty shall come upon him.
23 He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue. He that rebuketh a man shall afterwards find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
24 Whoso robbeth his father or his mother, and saith, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer. Whoso robbeth his father and his mother, and saith, It is no transgression, the same is the companion of a destroyer. El que roba a su padre o a su madre, y dice que no es maldad,
Compañero es del hombre destruidor.
25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat. Celui qui a l'âme altière excite la querelle ; mais qui se confie en l'Éternel sera engraissé. He that is puffed up in soul exciteth contention; but he that relieth upon Jehovah shall be made fat. El altivo de ánimo suscita contiendas;
Mas el que confía en Jehová prosperará.
26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Qui se confie en son propre cœur est un sot ; mais qui marche dans la sagesse, celui-là sera délivré. He that confideth in his own heart is a fool; but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. El que confía en su propio corazón es necio;
27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. Qui donne au pauvre ne manquera de rien, mais qui détourne les yeux sera comblé de malédictions. He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; but he that withdraweth his eyes shall have many a curse. El que da al pobre no tendrá pobreza;
28 When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase. Quand les méchants se lèvent, les hommes se cachent ; mais quand ils périssent, les justes se multiplient. When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous increase. Cuando los impíos son levantados se esconde el hombre;
Mas cuando perecen, los justos se multiplican.
