Ni desees estar con ellos;

E iniquidad hablan sus labios.
3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: Par la sagesse la maison est bâtie, et elle est établie par l'intelligence ; Through wisdom is a house built, and by understanding it is established; Con sabiduría se edificará la casa,
Y con prudencia se afirmará;
4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. et par la connaissance les chambres sont remplies de tous les biens précieux et agréables. and by knowledge are the chambers filled with all precious and pleasant substance. Y con ciencia se llenarán las cámaras
De todo bien preciado y agradable.
5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. L'homme sage a de la force, et l'homme de connaissance affermit sa puissance ; A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increaseth strength. El hombre sabio es fuerte,
Y de pujante vigor el hombre docto.
6 For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety. car sous une [sage] direction tu feras ta guerre, et le salut est dans le grand nombre des conseillers. For with good advice shalt thou make thy war; and in the multitude of counsellors there is safety. Porque con ingenio harás la guerra,
Y en la multitud de consejeros está la victoria.
7 Wisdom is too high for a fool: he openeth not his mouth in the gate. La sagesse est trop haute pour le foua, il n'ouvrira pas la bouche dans la porte. Wisdom is too high for a fool: he will not open his mouth in the gate. Alta está para el insensato la sabiduría;
En la puerta no abrirá él su boca.
8 He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person. Celui qui pense à mal faire, on l'appellera intrigant. He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a master of intrigues. Al que piensa hacer el mal,
Le llamarán hombre de malos pensamientos.
9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. Le plan de la folie est péché, et le moqueur est en abomination aux hommes. The purpose of folly is sin, and the scorner is an abomination to men. El pensamiento del necio es pecado,
Y abominación a los hombres el escarnecedor.
10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. Si tu perds courage au jour de la détresse, ta force est minceb. If thou losest courage in the day of trouble, thy strength is small. Si fueres flojo en el día de trabajo,
Tu fuerza será reducida.
11 If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; Délivre ceux qui sont menés à la mort, et ne te retire pas de ceux qui chancellent vers une mort violente. Deliver them that are taken forth unto death, and withdraw not from them that stagger to slaughter. Libra a los que son llevados a la muerte;
Salva a los que están en peligro de muerte.
12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? Si tu dis : Voici, nous n'en savions rien ; celui qui pèse les cœurs, lui ne le considérera-t-il pas ? et celui qui garde ton âme, lui le sait ; et il rend à l'homme selon son œuvre. If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not, will not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that preserveth thy soul, he knoweth it; and he rendereth to man according to his work. Porque si dijeres: Ciertamente no lo supimos,
¿Acaso no lo entenderá el que pesa los corazones?
El que mira por tu alma, él lo conocerá,
Y dará al hombre según sus obras.
13 My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: Mon fils, mange du miel, car il est bon ; et un rayon de miel est doux à ton palais. Eat honey, my son, for it is good; and a honeycomb is sweet to thy taste: Come, hijo mío, de la miel, porque es buena,
Y el panal es dulce a tu paladar.
14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. Ainsi connais pour ton âme la sagesse : si tu l'as trouvée, il y a un avenir, et ton attente ne sera point réduite à néant. so consider wisdom for thy soul; if thou hast found it, there shall be a result, and thine expectation shall not be cut off. Así será a tu alma el conocimiento de la sabiduría;
Si la hallares tendrás recompensa,
Y al fin tu esperanza no será cortada.
15 Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: Méchant, ne mets pas des embûches contre l'habitation du juste, ne dévaste pas son gîte. Lay not wait, O wicked man , against the dwelling of the righteous; lay not waste his resting-place. Oh impío, no aceches la tienda del justo,
No saquees su cámara;
16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. Car le juste tombe sept fois, et se relève ; mais les méchants trébuchent [pour tomber] dans le malheur. For the righteous falleth seven times, and riseth up again; but the wicked stumble into disaster. Porque siete veces cae el justo, y vuelve a levantarse;
Mas los impíos caerán en el mal.
17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Si ton ennemi tombe, ne te réjouis pas ; et s'il trébuche, que ton cœur ne s'égaye pas ; Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thy heart be glad when he stumbleth; Cuando cayere tu enemigo, no te regocijes,
Y cuando tropezare, no se alegre tu corazón;
18 Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him. de peur que l'Éternel ne le voie, et que cela ne soit mauvais à ses yeux, et qu'il ne détourne de dessus lui sa colère. lest Jehovah see it, and it be evil in his sight, and he turn away his anger from him. No sea que Jehová lo mire, y le desagrade,
Y aparte de sobre él su enojo.
19 Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked; Ne t'irrite pas à cause de ceux qui font le mal, n'envie pas les méchants ; Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, and be not envious of the wicked: No te entremetas con los malignos,
Ni tengas envidia de los impíos;
20 For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out. car il n'y a pas d'avenir pour l'inique : la lampe des méchants s'éteindra. for there shall be no future to the evil man ; the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. Porque para el malo no habrá buen fin,
Y la lámpara de los impíos será apagada.
21 My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: Mon fils, crains l'Éternel et le roi ; ne te mêle pas avec les gens remuants, My son, fear Jehovah and the king: meddle not with them that are given to change. Teme a Jehová, hijo mío, y al rey;
No te entremetas con los veleidosos;
22 For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? car leur calamité surgira tout à coup ; et qui sait la ruine des uns et des autres ? For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? Porque su quebrantamiento vendrá de repente;
Y el quebrantamiento de ambos,
¿quién lo comprende?
23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. ☆ Ces choses aussi viennent des sages :

24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him: Celui qui dit au méchant : Tu es juste, les peuples le maudiront, les peuplades seront indignées contre lui ; He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous, peoples shall curse him, nations shall abhor him; El que dijere al malo: Justo eres,
Los pueblos lo maldecirán, y le detestarán las naciones;
25 But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them. mais ceux qui le reprennent seront agréables, et une bénédiction de bien viendra sur eux. but to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing cometh upon them. Mas los que lo reprendieren tendrán felicidad,
Y sobre ellos vendrá gran bendición.
26 Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer. Celui qui répond des paroles justes baise les lèvres. He kisseth the lips who giveth a right answer. Besados serán los labios
Del que responde palabras rectas.
27 Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house. Prépare ton ouvrage au dehors, et mets en état ton champ, et après, bâtis ta maison. Prepare thy work without, and put thy field in order, and afterwards build thy house. Prepara tus labores fuera,
Y disponlas en tus campos,
Y después edificarás tu casa.
28 Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and deceive not with thy lips. Ne sois pas témoin, sans motif, contre ton prochain ; voudrais-tu donc tromper de tes lèvres ? Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and wouldest thou deceive with thy lips? No seas sin causa testigo contra tu prójimo,
Y no lisonjees con tus labios.
29 Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work. Ne dis pas : Comme il m'a fait, je lui ferai ; je rendrai à l'homme selon son œuvre. Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me, I will render to the man according to his work. No digas: Como me hizo, así le haré;
Daré el pago al hombre según su obra.
30 I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; J'ai passé près du champ de l'homme paresseux et près de la vigne de l'homme dépourvu de sens, I went by the field of a sluggard, and by the vineyard of a man void of understanding; Pasé junto al campo del hombre perezoso,
Y junto a la viña del hombre falto de entendimiento;
31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. et voici, tout y était monté en chardons ; les orties en avaient couvert la surface, et sa clôture de pierres était démolie. and lo, it was all grown over with thistles, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and its stone wall was broken down. Y he aquí que por toda ella habían crecido los espinos,
Ortigas habían ya cubierto su faz,
Y su cerca de piedra estaba ya destruida.
32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. Et je regardai, j'y appliquai mon cœur ; je vis, [et] je reçus instruction. Then I looked, I took it to heart; I saw, I received instruction: Miré, y lo puse en mi corazón;
Lo vi, y tomé consejo.
33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: Un peu de sommeil, un peu d'assoupissement, un peu croiser les mains pour dormir…, --A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest! Un poco de sueño, cabeceando otro poco,
Poniendo mano sobre mano otro poco para dormir;
34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man. et ta pauvreté viendra [comme] un voyageurc, et ton dénuement comme un homme armé. So shall thy poverty come as a roving plunderer, and thy penury as an armed man. Así vendrá como caminante tu necesidad,
