1 Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish. Qui aime l'instruction aime la connaissance, et qui hait la répréhension est stupide. Whoso loveth discipline loveth knowledge, but he that hateth reproof is brutish. El que ama la instrucción ama la sabiduría;
Mas el que aborrece la reprensión es ignorante.
2 A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. L'homme de bien obtient la faveur de par l'Éternel, mais l'homme qui fait des machinations, il le condamne. A good man obtaineth favour of Jehovah; but a man of mischievous devices will he condemn. El bueno alcanzará favor de Jehová;
Mas él condenará al hombre de malos pensamientos.
3 A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. L'homme n'est point affermi par la méchanceté, mais la racine des justes n'est pas ébranlée. A man shall not be established by wickedness; but the root of the righteous shall not be moved. El hombre no se afirmará por medio de la impiedad;
Mas la raíz de los justos no será removida.
4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. Une femme vertueusea est la couronne de son mari, mais celle qui fait honte est comme de la pourriture dans ses os. A woman of worth is a crown to her husband; but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. La mujer virtuosa es corona de su marido;
Mas la mala, como carcoma en sus huesos.
5 The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. Les pensées des justes sont jugementb, les desseins des méchants sont fraude. The thoughts of the righteous are right; the counsels of the wicked are deceit. Los pensamientos de los justos son rectitud;
Mas los consejos de los impíos, engaño.
6 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. Les paroles des méchants sont des embûches pour [verser] le sang, mais la bouche des hommes droits les délivrera. The words of the wicked are a lying-in-wait for blood; but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them. Las palabras de los impíos son asechanzas para derramar sangre;
Mas la boca de los rectos los librará.
7 The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. Renversez les méchants, et ils ne sont plus ; mais la maison des justes demeure. Overthrow the wicked, and they are no more ; but the house of the righteous shall stand. Dios trastornará a los impíos, y no serán más;
Pero la casa de los justos permanecerá firme.
8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. Un homme est loué d'après sa prudence, mais le cœur perverti est en butte au mépris. A man is commended according to his wisdom; but he that is of a perverted heart shall be despised. Según su sabiduría es alabado el hombre;
Mas el perverso de corazón será menospreciado.
9 He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread. Mieux vaut celui qui est d'humble condition, et qui a un serviteur, que celui qui fait l'important et qui manque de pain. Better is he that is lightly esteemed, and hath a servant, than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread. Más vale el despreciado que tiene servidores,
Que el que se jacta, y carece de pan.
10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. Le juste regarde à la vie de sa bête, mais les entrailles des méchants sont cruelles. A righteous man is concerned for the life of his beast; but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel. El justo cuida de la vida de su bestia;
Mas el corazón de los impíos es cruel.
11 He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding. Celui qui laboure sa terre sera rassasié de pain, mais celui qui court après les fainéants est dépourvu de sens. He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread; but he that followeth the worthless is void of understanding. El que labra su tierra se saciará de pan;
Mas el que sigue a los vagabundos es falto de entendimiento.
12 The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit. Le méchant désire la proie des mauvaises gens, mais la racine des justes est productive. The wicked desireth the net of evil men ; but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit . Codicia el impío la red de los malvados;
Mas la raíz de los justos dará fruto.
13 The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble. Il y a un mauvais piège dans la transgression des lèvres, mais le juste sort de la détresse. In the transgression of the lips is an evil snare; but a righteous man shall go forth out of trouble. El impío es enredado en la prevaricación de sus labios;
Mas el justo saldrá de la tribulación.
14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him. Du fruit de sa bouche un homme est rassasié de biens, et on rendra à l'homme l'œuvre de ses mains. A man is satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth; and the recompense of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him. El hombre será saciado de bien del fruto de su boca;
Y le será pagado según la obra de sus manos.
15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. La voie du fou est droite à ses yeux, mais celui qui écoute le conseil est sage. The way of a fool is right in his own eyes; but he that is wise hearkeneth unto counsel. El camino del necio es derecho en su opinión;
Mas el que obedece al consejo es sabio.
16 A fool’s wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame. L'irritation du fou se connaît le jour même, mais l'homme avisé couvre sa honte. The vexation of the fool is presently known; but a prudent man covereth shame. El necio al punto da a conocer su ira;
Mas el que no hace caso de la injuria es prudente.
17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit. Celui qui dit la vérité annonce la justice, mais le faux témoin, la fraude. He that uttereth truth sheweth forth righteousness; but a false witness deceit. El que habla verdad declara justicia;
Mas el testigo mentiroso, engaño.
18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health. Il y a tel homme qui dit légèrement ce qui perce comme une épée, mais la langue des sages est santé. There is that babbleth like the piercings of a sword; but the tongue of the wise is health. Hay hombres cuyas palabras son como golpes de espada;
Mas la lengua de los sabios es medicina.
19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment. La lèvre véridique est ferme pour toujours, mais la langue fausse n'est que pour un instant. The lip of truth shall be established for ever; but a lying tongue is but for a moment. El labio veraz permanecerá para siempre;
Mas la lengua mentirosa solo por un momento.
20 Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy. La fraude est dans le cœur de ceux qui machinent le mal, mais il y a de la joie pour ceux qui conseillent la paix. Deceit is in the heart of them that devise evil; but to the counsellors of peace is joy. Engaño hay en el corazón de los que piensan el mal;
Pero alegría en el de los que piensan el bien.
21 There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. Aucun malheur n'arrive au juste, mais les méchants seront comblés de mauxc. There shall no evil happen to a righteous man ; but the wicked shall be filled with mischief. Ninguna adversidad acontecerá al justo;
Mas los impíos serán colmados de males.
22 Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight. Les lèvres menteuses sont en abomination à l'Éternel, mais ceux qui pratiquent la fidélité lui sont agréables. Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah; but they that deal truly are his delight. Los labios mentirosos son abominación a Jehová;
Pero los que hacen verdad son su contentamiento.
23 A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness. L'homme avisé couvre la connaissance, mais le cœur des sots proclame la folie. A prudent man concealeth knowledge; but the heart of the foolish proclaimeth folly. El hombre cuerdo encubre su saber;
Mas el corazón de los necios publica la necedad.
24 The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. La main des diligents dominera, mais la [main] paresseuse sera tributaire. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule; but the slothful hand shall be under tribute. La mano de los diligentes señoreará;
Mas la negligencia será tributaria.
25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. L'inquiétude dans le cœur d'un homme l'abat, mais une bonne parole le réjouit. Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop; but a good word maketh it glad. La congoja en el corazón del hombre lo abate;
Mas la buena palabra lo alegra.
26 The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them. Le juste montre le chemin à son compagnon, mais la voie des méchants les fourvoie. The righteous guideth his neighbour; but the way of the wicked misleadeth them. El justo sirve de guía a su prójimo;
Mas el camino de los impíos les hace errar.
27 The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious. Le paresseux ne rôtit pas sa chasse ; mais les biens précieux de l'homme sont au diligent. The slothful roasteth not what he took in hunting; but man's precious substance is to the diligent. El indolente ni aun asará lo que ha cazado;
Pero haber precioso del hombre es la diligencia.
28 In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death. La vie est dans le sentier de la justice, et il n'y a pas de mort dans le chemin qu'elle trace. In the path of righteousness is life, and in the pathway thereof there is no death. En el camino de la justicia está la vida;
Y en sus caminos no hay muerte.
