1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? La sagesse ne crie-t-elle pas, et l'intelligence ne fait-elle pas retentir sa voix ? Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding give forth her voice? ¿No clama la sabiduría,
Y da su voz la inteligencia?
2 She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. Au sommet des hauteurs, sur le chemin, aux carrefours, elle se tient debout. On the top of high places by the way, at the cross-paths she taketh her stand. En las alturas junto al camino,
A las encrucijadas de las veredas se para;
3 She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors. 7 For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. car mon palais méditera la vérité, et la méchanceté sera une abomination pour mes lèvres. For my palate shall meditate truth, and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. Porque mi boca hablará verdad,
Y la impiedad abominan mis labios.
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. Justas son todas las razones de mi boca;

9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. elles sont toutes claires pour celui qui a de l'intelligence, et droites pour ceux qui ont trouvé la connaissance. Y razonables a los que han hallado sabiduría.
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. Recevez mon instruction, et non pas de l'argent, et la connaissance plutôt que l'or fin choisi ; Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold: Recibid mi enseñanza, y no plata;
Y ciencia antes que el oro escogido.
11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. car la sagesse est meilleure que les rubisa, et rien de ce qui fait nos délices ne l'égale. for wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not equal to it. Porque mejor es la sabiduría que las piedras preciosas;
Y todo cuanto se puede desear, no es de compararse con ella.
12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. Moi, la sagesse, je demeure avec la prudence, et je trouve la connaissance [qui vient] de la réflexion. I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find the knowledge which cometh of reflection. Yo, la sabiduría, habito con la cordura,
Y hallo la ciencia de los consejos.
13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. La crainte de l'Éternel, c'est de haïr le mal. Je hais l'orgueil et la hauteur, et la voie d'iniquité, et la bouche perverse. The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth do I hate. El temor de Jehová es aborrecer el mal;
La soberbia y la arrogancia, el mal camino,
Y la boca perversa, aborrezco.
14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. À moi le conseil et le savoir-faireb ; je suis l'intelligence ; à moi la force. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am intelligence; I have strength. Conmigo está el consejo y el buen juicio;
Yo soy la inteligencia; mío es el poder.
15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. Par moi les rois règnent, et les princes statuent la justice. By me kings reign, and rulers make just decrees; Por mí reinan los reyes,
Y los príncipes determinan justicia.
16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth. Par moi les chefs dominent, et les nobles, tous les juges de la terre. by me princes rule, and nobles, all the judges of the earth. Por mí dominan los príncipes,
Y todos los gobernadores juzgan la tierra.
17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. J'aime ceux qui m'aiment ; et ceux qui me recherchent me trouveront. I love those that love me; and they that seek me early shall find me. Yo amo a los que me aman,
Y me hallan los que temprano me buscan.
18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. Avec moi sont les richesses et les honneurs, les biens éclatantsc et la justice. Riches and honour are with me; durable wealth and righteousness. Las riquezas y la honra están conmigo;
Riquezas duraderas, y justicia.
19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. Mon fruit est meilleur que l'or fin, même que l'or pur ; et mon revenu [meilleur] que l'argent choisi. My fruit is better than fine gold, yea, than pure gold; and my revenue than choice silver. Mejor es mi fruto que el oro, y que el oro refinado;

Y bienaventurados los que guardan mis caminos.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Écoutez l'instruction, et soyez sages, et ne la rejetez point. hear instruction and be wise, and refuse it not. Atended el consejo, y sed sabios,
Y no lo menospreciéis.
34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Bienheureux l'homme qui m'écoute, veillant à mes portes tous les jours, gardant les poteaux de mes entrées ! 35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord. Car celui qui m'a trouvée a trouvé la vie, et acquiert faveur de la part de l'Éternel ; For whoso findeth me findeth life, and obtaineth favour of Jehovah; Porque el que me halle, hallará la vida,
Y alcanzará el favor de Jehová.
36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death. mais celui qui pèche contre moi fait tortg à son âme ; tous ceux qui me haïssent aiment la mort. but he that sinneth against me doeth violence to his own soul: all they that hate me love death. Mas el que peca contra mí, defrauda su alma;
Todos los que me aborrecen aman la muerte.
