2	And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.	et disant : Repentez-vous, car le royaume des cieux s'est approché.	diciendo: Arrepentíos; porque el reino de los cielos se ha acercado.	and saying, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn nigh.	y diciendo: Arrepentíos, porque el reino de los cielosa se ha acercado.b
3	For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.	Car c'est ici celui dont il a été parlé par Ésaïe le prophète, disant : «Voix de celui qui crie dans le désert : Préparez le chemin du ∗Seigneur, faites droits ses sentiers» [Ésaïe 40:3].	Este es el anunciado por el profeta Isaías, diciendo: «Voz de uno que clama en el desierto: Preparad el camino del Señor°; enderezad sus sendas.» [Isaías 40:3]	For this is he who has been spoken of through Esaias the prophet, saying, Voice of him that crieth in the wilderness: prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight his paths. 4	And the same John had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 7	But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?	Et voyant plusieurs des pharisiens et des sadducéens venir à son baptême, il leur dit : Race de vipères, qui vous a avertis de fuir la colère qui vient ?	Pero cuando vio a muchos de los fariseos y saduceos que venían para ser bautizados, les dijo: ¡Engendro de víboras! ¿Quién os enseñó a huir de la ira venidera?	But seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, Offspring of vipers, who has forewarned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8	Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:	Produisez donc du fruit qui convienne à la repentance ;	Dad, pues, digno fruto de arrepentimiento;	Produce therefore fruit worthy of repentance.	Haced, pues, frutos dignos de arrepentimiento,
9	And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.	et ne pensez pas de dire en vous-mêmes : Nous avons Abraham pour père ; car je vous dis que Dieu peut, de ces pierres, susciter des enfants à Abraham.	y no penséis decir dentro de vosotros: A Abraham tenemos por padre; porque os digo que Dios puede levantar hijos a Abraham de estas piedras. 10	And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.	Et déjà la cognée est mise à la racine des arbres ; tout arbre donc qui ne produit pas de bon fruit est coupé et jeté au feu.	El hacha ya está puesta en la raíz de los árboles; por tanto, todo árbol que no produce buen fruto es cortado y echado al fuego. 11	I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:	Moi, je vous baptise d'eau pour la repentance ; mais celui qui vient après moi est plus puissant que moi, et je ne suis pas digne de porter ses sandales : lui vous baptisera de l'Esprit Saint et de feu.	Yo, en verdad, os bautizo en agua para arrepentimiento; pero el que viene después de mí, más poderoso es que yo, cuyas sandalias no soy digno de llevar; él os bautizará en Espíritu Santo y fuego.	I indeed baptise you with water to repentance, but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not fit to bear; he shall baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire;	Yo a la verdad os bautizo en agua para arrepentimiento; pero el que viene tras mí, cuyo calzado yo no soy digno de llevar, es más poderoso que yo; él os bautizará en Espíritu Santo y fuego.
12	Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.	Il a son van dans sa main, et il nettoiera entièrement son aire et assemblera son froment dans le grenier ; mais il brûlera la balle au feu inextinguibleb.	Tiene su aventador en la mano, limpiará su era y recogerá su trigo en el granero; pero quemará la paja en fuego inextinguible.	whose winnowing fan is in his hand, and he shall thoroughly purge his threshing-floor, and shall gather his wheat into the garner, but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable. 13	Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.	Alors Jésus vient de Galilée au Jourdain auprès de Jean, pour être baptisé par lui ;	Entonces Jesús fue de Galilea al Jordán, donde estaba Juan, para ser bautizado por él. 14	But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?	mais Jean l'en empêchait fort, disant : Moi, j'ai besoin d'être baptisé par toi, et toi, tu viens à moi !	Pero Juan quería impedírselo, diciendo: Yo necesito ser bautizado por ti, ¿y tú vienes a mí?	but John urgently forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptised of thee; and comest thou to me?	Mas Juan se le oponía, diciendo: Yo necesito ser bautizado por ti, ¿y tú vienes a mí?
15	And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.	Et Jésus, répondant, lui dit : Laisse faire maintenant, car ainsi il nous est convenable d'accomplir toute justice. Alors il le laissa faire.	Pero Jesús respondiendo, le dijo: Permítelo ahora; porque así nos conviene cumplir lo que es justo. Entonces lo consintió.	But Jesus answering said to him, Suffer it now; for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffers him.	Pero Jesús le respondió: Deja ahora, porque así conviene que cumplamos toda justicia. Entonces le dejó.
16	And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:	Et Jésus, ayant été baptisé, monta aussitôt, s'éloignant de l'eau ; et voici, les cieux lui furent ouverts, et il vit l'Esprit de Dieu descendre comme une colombe, et venir sur lui.	Habiendo sido bautizado, Jesús salió enseguida del agua; y he aquí que los cielos se abrieron, y vio al Espíritu de Dios que bajaba como paloma y venía sobre él.	And Jesus, having been baptised, went up straightway from the water, and lo, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him:	Y Jesús, después que fue bautizado, subió luego del agua; y he aquí los cielos le fueron abiertos, y vio al Espíritu de Dios que descendía como paloma, y venía sobre él.
17	And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.	Et voici une voix qui venait des cieux, disant : Celui-ci est mon Fils bien-aimé, en qui j'ai trouvé mon plaisir.	Y he aquí una voz de los cielos que decía: Este es mi amado Hijo, en quien tengo complacencia.	and behold, a voice out of the heavens saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I have found my delight.	Y hubo una voz de los cielos, que decía: Este es mi Hijo amado, en quien tengo complacencia.h
