For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. |

They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. |

So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. |

And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. |

But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. |

And when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more, and they received also themselves each a denarius. |

And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, |

Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. |
disant : Ces derniers n'ont travaillé qu'une heure, et tu les as faits égaux à nous qui avons porté le faix du jour et la chaleur. |

But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? |

Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. |

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? |

is it not lawful for me to do what I will in my own affairs? Is thine eye evil because *I* am good? |

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. |

And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, |

And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again. |
et ils le livreront aux nations pour s'en moquer, et le fouetter, et le crucifier ; et le troisième jour il ressuscitera. |

and they will deliver him up to the nations to mock and to scourge and to crucify, and the third day he shall rise again. |

Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. |

And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. |
Et il lui dit : Que veux-tu ? Elle lui dit : Ordonne que mes deux fils que voici, s'asseyent, l'un à ta droite et l'un à ta gauche, dans ton royaume. |
Él le dijo: ¿Qué quieres? Ella le dijo: Ordena que estos dos hijos míos se sienten, el uno a tu derecha y el otro a tu izquierda, en tu reino. |
And he said to her, What wilt thou? She says to him, Speak the word that these my two sons may sit, one on thy right hand and one on thy left in thy kingdom. |

But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. |
Et Jésus, répondant, dit : Vous ne savez ce que vous demandez. Pouvez-vous boire la coupe que moi, je vais boire ? Ils lui disent : Nous le pouvons. |
Pero Jesús respondiendo dijo: No sabéis lo que pedís. ¿Podéis acaso beber de la copa que yo voy a beber? Le dijeron: Podemos. |
And Jesus answering said, Ye know not what ye ask. Can ye drink the cup which *I* am about to drink? They say to him, We are able. |

And he says to them, Ye shall drink indeed my cup, but to sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine to give, but to those for whom it is prepared of my Father. |

And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. |
Et les dix, l'ayant entendu, furent indignés à l'égard des deux frères. |

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. |
Et Jésus, les ayant appelés auprès de lui, dit : Vous savez que les chefs des nations dominent sur elles, et que les grands usent d'autorité sur elles. |
Pero Jesús, llamándolos les dijo: Sabéis que los gobernantes de las naciones se enseñorean de ellas; y los potentados con autoridad las dominan. |
But Jesus having called them to him , said, Ye know that the rulers of the nations exercise lordship over them, and the great exercise authority over them. |
Entonces Jesús, llamándolos, dijo: Sabéis que los gobernantes de las naciones se enseñorean de ellas, y los que son grandes ejercen sobre ellas potestad. |

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; |
Il n'en sera pas ainsi parmi vous ; mais quiconque voudra devenir grand parmi vous sera votre serviteur ; |
No será así entre vosotros; pero el que desee ser grande entre vosotros, sea vuestro siervo; |
It shall not be thus amongst you, but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your servant; |
Mas entre vosotros no será así,c sino que el que quiera hacerse grande entre vosotros será vuestro servidor, |

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: |
et quiconque voudra être le premier parmi vous, qu'il soit votre esclave ; |

and whosoever will be first among you, let him be your bondman; |

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. |
de même que le fils de l'homme n'est pas venu pour être servi, mais pour servir et pour donner sa vie en rançon pour plusieurs. |

as indeed the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many. |

And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. |
Et voici, deux aveugles assis sur le bord du chemin, ayant ouï que Jésus passait, s'écrièrent, disant : Aie pitié de nous, Seigneur, Fils de David. |
Había dos ciegos sentados junto al camino, y al oír que Jesús pasaba, clamaron: ¡Señor, Hijo de David ten compasión de nosotros! |
And lo, two blind men, sitting by the wayside, having heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out saying, Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David. |
Y dos ciegos que estaban sentados junto al camino, cuando oyeron que Jesús pasaba, clamaron, diciendo: ¡Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros! |

And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. |
Et la foule les reprit, afin qu'ils se tussent ; mais ils criaient plus fort, disant : Aie pitié de nous, Seigneur, Fils de David. |
La gente los reprendía para que callasen, pero ellos gritaron con más fuerza: ¡Señor, Hijo de David ten compasión de nosotros! |
But the crowd rebuked them, that they might be silent. But they cried out the more, saying, Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David. |

And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? |

So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him. |
