At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? |

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. |

And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. |

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. |
Et quiconque est une occasion de chute pour un de ces petits qui croient en moi, il serait avantageux pour lui qu'on lui eût pendu au cou une meule d'âneb et qu'il eût été noyé dans les profondeurs de la mer. |
Pero el que haga tropezar a uno solo de estos pequeños que creen en mí, mejor le sería que se le colgase al cuello una piedra de molino, y que fuese sumergido en lo profundo del mar. |
But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones who believe in me, it were profitable for him that a great millstone had been hanged upon his neck and he be sunk in the depths of the sea. |
Y cualquiera que haga tropezar a alguno de estos pequeños que creen en mí, mejor le fuera que se le colgase al cuello una piedra de molino de asno, y que se le hundiese en lo profundo del mar. |

Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! |
Malheur au monde à cause des occasions de chute ! car il est nécessaire qu'il arrive des occasions de chute ; mais malheur à cet homme par qui l'occasion de chute arrive. |

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. |
Et si ta main ou ton pied est pour toi une occasion de chute, coupe-les et jette-les loin de toi : il vaut mieux pour toi d'entrer dans la vie boiteux ou estropié, que d'avoir deux mains ou deux pieds, et d'être jeté dans le feu éternel. |
Por tanto, si tu mano o tu pie te es ocasión de caer, córtalo y échalo de ti; más te vale entrar en la vida cojo o manco, que teniendo dos manos o dos pies ser echado al fuego eterno. |

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. |
Et si ton œil est pour toi une occasion de chute, arrache-le et jette-le loin de toi ; car il vaut mieux pour toi d'entrer dans la vie n'ayant qu'un œil, que d'avoir deux yeux, et d'être jeté dans la géhennec du feu. |
Si tu ojo te es ocasión de caer, sácalo y échalo de ti; más te vale entrar en la vida con un solo ojo, que teniendo dos ojos ser echado en el fuego de la gehena. |

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. |
Prenez garde de ne pas mépriser un de ces petits ; car je vous dis que, dans les cieux, leurs anges voient continuellement la face de mon Père qui est dans les cieux. |

How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? |
Que vous en semble ? Si un homme a cent brebis, et que l'une d'elles se soit égarée, ne laisse-t-il pas les quatre-vingt-dix-neuf sur les montagnes, pour s'en aller chercher celle qui s'est égarée ? |
¿Qué os parece? Si un hombre tiene cien ovejas, y se extravía una de ellas, ¿no dejará las 99, e irá a buscar la extraviada? |
What think ye? If a certain man should have a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, does he not, leaving the ninety and nine on the mountains, go and seek the one that has gone astray? |
¿Qué os parece? Si un hombre tiene cien ovejas, y se descarría una de ellas, ¿no deja las noventa y nueve y va por los montes a buscar la que se había descarriado? |

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. |
Et s'il arrive qu'il la trouve, — en vérité, je vous dis qu'il a plus de joie de celle-là que des quatre-vingt-dix-neuf qui ne se sont pas égarées. |
Si llega a encontrarla, de cierto os digo que se alegra más por aquella, que por las 99 que no se extraviaron. |
And if it should come to pass that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoices more because of it than because of the ninety and nine not gone astray. |

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. |
Ainsi, ce n'est pas la volonté de votre Père qui est dans les cieux, qu'un seul de ces petits périsse. |
De la misma manera, no es el deseo de vuestro Padre celestial que perezca uno de estos pequeños. |
So it is not the will of your Father who is in the heavens that one of these little ones should perish. |
Así, no es la voluntad de vuestro Padre que está en los cielos, que se pierda uno de estos pequeños. |

Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. |
Et si ton frère pèche contre toi, va, reprends-led, entre toi et lui seul ; s'il t'écoute, tu as gagné ton frère ; |
Si tu hermano peca contra ti, ve y repréndelo a solas; si te escucha, has ganado a tu hermano. |
But if thy brother sin against thee, go, reprove him between thee and him alone. If he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. |
Por tanto, si tu hermano peca contra ti, ve y repréndele estando tú y él solos; si te oyere, has ganado a tu hermano.f |

But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. |
mais s'il ne t'écoute pas, prends avec toi encore une ou deux personnes, afin que par la bouche de deux ou de trois témoins toute parole soit établiee. |
Pero si no te escucha, toma contigo uno o dos, para que de boca de dos o tres testigos conste toda palabra. |
But if he do not hear thee , take with thee one or two besides, that every matter may stand upon the word of two witnesses or of three. |

And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. |
Et s'il ne veut pas les écouter, dis-le à l'assemblée ; et s'il ne veut pas écouter l'assemblée non plus, qu'il te soit comme un homme des nations et comme un publicain. |
Si no los escucha a ellos, lo dices a la iglesia; pero si no escucha a la iglesia, sea para ti como un gentil y un cobrador de impuestos. |
But if he will not listen to them, tell it to the assembly; and if also he will not listen to the assembly, let him be to thee as one of the nations and a tax-gatherer. |

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. |
En vérité, je vous dis : Tout ce que vous lierez sur la terre sera lié dans le ciel, et tout ce que vous délierez sur la terre sera délié dans le ciel. |
En verdad os digo, que todo lo que atéis en la tierra, será atado en el cielo; y todo lo que desatéis en la tierra, será desatado en el cielo. |
Verily I say to you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on the earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever ye shall loose on the earth shall be loosed in heaven. |
De cierto os digo que todo lo que atéis en la tierra, será atado en el cielo; y todo lo que desatéis en la tierra, será desatado en el cielo.h |

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. |
Je vous dis encore que si deux d'entre vous sont d'accord sur la terre pour une chose quelconque, quelle que soit la chose qu'ils demanderont, elle sera faite pour eux par mon Père qui est dans les cieux ; |
Otra vez os digo, que si dos de vosotros estáis de acuerdo en la tierra sobre cualquier cosa que pidáis, les será concedido por mi Padre que está en los cielos. |
Again I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on the earth concerning any matter, whatsoever it may be that they shall ask, it shall come to them from my Father who is in the heavens. |
Otra vez os digo, que si dos de vosotros se pusieren de acuerdo en la tierra acerca de cualquiera cosa que pidieren, les será hecho por mi Padre que está en los cielos. |

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. |
car là où deux ou trois sont assemblés enf mon nom, je suis là au milieu d'eux. |

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? |
Alors Pierre, s'approchant de lui, dit : Seigneur, combien de fois mon frère péchera-t-il contre moi, et lui pardonnerai-je ? Sera-ce jusqu'à sept fois ? |
Entonces se acercó Pedro, y le dijo: Señor ¿cuántas veces perdonaré a mi hermano si me ofende?, ¿hasta siete? |
Then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? until seven times? |

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. |

Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. |
C'est pourquoi le royaume des cieux a été fait semblable à un roi qui voulut compter avec ses esclaves. |

For this cause the kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who would reckon with his bondmen. |

And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. |
Et quand il eut commencé à compter, on lui en amena un qui lui devait dix mille talentsg. |

But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. |
Et comme il n'avait pas de quoi payer, son seigneur ordonna qu'il fût vendu, [lui], et sa femme, et ses enfants, et tout ce qu'il avait ; et que le payement fût fait. |
Y no teniendo con qué pagar, su señor mandó venderlo a él, a su mujer e hijos y todo cuanto tenía, para saldar la deuda. |
But he not having anything to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and his children, and everything that he had, and that payment should be made. |
A este, como no pudo pagar, ordenó su señor venderle, y a su mujer e hijos, y todo lo que tenía, para que se le pagase la deuda. |

The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. |
L'esclave donc, se jetant à ses pieds, lui rendit hommage, disant : Seigneur, use de patience envers moi, et je te payerai tout. |
Por tanto, el siervo, cayendo postrado ante él, le dijo: ¡Señor, ten paciencia conmigo, y te lo pagaré todo! |
The bondman therefore falling down did him homage, saying, Lord, have patience with me and I will pay thee all. |
Entonces aquel siervo, postrado, le suplicaba, diciendo: Señor, ten paciencia conmigo, y yo te lo pagaré todo. |

Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. |
Et le seigneur de cet esclave-là, touché de compassion, le relâcha et lui remit la dette. |
Entonces el señor de aquel siervo, compadecido de él, le soltó y le perdonó la deuda. |
And the lord of that bondman, being moved with compassion, loosed him and forgave him the loan. |

But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. |
Mais cet esclave, étant sorti, trouva un de ceux qui étaient esclaves avec lui, qui lui devait cent deniersg ; et l'ayant saisi, il l'étranglait, disant : Paye, si tu dois quelque chose. |
Pero al salir este siervo, se encontró con uno de sus compañeros de esclavitud que le debía 100 denarios; y agarrándole lo ahogaba, diciendo: ¡Paga lo que me debes! |
But that bondman having gone out, found one of his fellow-bondmen who owed him a hundred denarii. And having seized him, he throttled him, saying, Pay me if thou owest anything. |
Pero saliendo aquel siervo, halló a uno de sus consiervos, que le debía cien denarios; y asiendo de él, le ahogaba, diciendo: Págame lo que me debes. |

And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. |
Celui donc qui était esclave avec lui, se jetant à ses pieds, le supplia, disant : Use de patience envers moi, et je te payerai. |
Entonces su compañero de esclavitud, cayendo postrado ante él, le rogaba diciendo: ¡Ten paciencia conmigo, y te lo pagaré! |
His fellow-bondman therefore, having fallen down at his feet , besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee. |

And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. |
Et il ne voulut pas ; mais il s'en alla et le jeta en prison jusqu'à ce qu'il eût payé la dette. |

But he would not, but went away and cast him into prison, until he should pay what was owing. |

So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. |
Or ceux qui étaient esclaves avec lui, voyant ce qui était arrivé, furent extrêmement affligés, et s'en vinrent et déclarèrent à leur seigneur tout ce qui s'était passé. |
Viendo los otros compañeros de esclavitud lo sucedido, se entristecieron mucho y fueron y contaron a su señor todo lo que había pasado. |
But his fellow-bondmen, having seen what had taken place, were greatly grieved, and went and recounted to their lord all that had taken place. |

Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: |
Alors son seigneur, l'ayant appelé auprès de lui, lui dit : Méchant esclave, je t'ai remis toute cette dette, parce que tu m'en as supplié ; |
Entonces, llamándolo su señor, le dijo: ¡Siervo malvado! Te perdoné toda aquella deuda, porque me rogaste; |
Then his lord, having called him to him , says to him, Wicked bondman! I forgave thee all that debt because thou besoughtest me; |

Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? |
n'aurais-tu pas dû aussi avoir pitié de celui qui est esclave avec toi, comme moi aussi j'ai eu pitié de toi ? |
¿no debías tú también tener compasión de tu compañero de esclavitud, así como yo tuve compasión de ti? |
shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow-bondman, as *I* also had compassion on thee? |

And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. |
Et son seigneur, étant en colère, le livra aux bourreaux, jusqu'à ce qu'il eût payé tout ce qui lui était dû. |
Y su señor, encolerizado, le entregó a los verdugos, hasta que pagase todo lo que debía. |
And his lord being angry delivered him to the tormentors till he paid all that was owing to him. |

So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. |
Ainsi aussi mon Père céleste vous fera, si vous ne pardonnez pas de tout votre cœur, chacun à son frère. |
Así también hará con vosotros mi Padre celestial, si no perdonáis de corazón cada uno a su hermano. |
Thus also my heavenly Father shall do to you if ye forgive not from your hearts every one his brother. |
