| 6 | Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law. | il a même tenté de profaner le temple : aussi l'avons-nous saisi, [et nous avons voulu le juger selon notre loi ; | Incluso intentó profanar el templo. | 8 | Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him. | donnant ordre que ses accusateurs vinssent auprès de toi] ; et par lui tu pourras toi-même, en l'interrogeant, arriver à la pleine connaissance de toutes ces choses dont nous l'accusons. | y mandó a sus acusadores que viniesen ante ti]. | 10 | Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself: | Et Paul, après que le gouverneur lui eut fait signe de parler, répondit : Sachant que depuis plusieurs années tu es juge de cette nation, je fais mon apologie avec plus de courage : | Entonces Pablo, después de que el gobernador le hizo señal de que hablara, respondió: Como sé que desde hace muchos años eres juez de esta nación, con confianza presentaré mi defensa; | But Paul, the governor having beckoned to him to speak, answered, Knowing that for many years thou hast been judge to this nation, I answer readily as to the things which concern myself. | Habiéndole hecho señal el gobernador a Pablo para que hablase, este respondió: Porque sé que desde hace muchos años eres juez de esta nación, con buen ánimo haré mi defensa. |

| 20 | Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council, | ou bien, que ceux-ci eux-mêmes disent quelle injustice ils ont trouvée en moi, quand j'ai été devant le sanhédrin, | O bien decir estos mismos qué delito hallaron, estando yo ante el Sanedrín; | or let these themselves say what wrong they found in me when I stood before the council, | O digan estos mismos si hallaron en mí alguna cosa mal hecha, cuando comparecí ante el concilio, |

| 23 | And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him. | — ordonnant au centurion que [Paul] fût gardé, et qu'il eût [quelque] liberté, et qu'on n'empêchât aucun des siens de le servir. | Mandó al centurión que guardara a Pablo, que lo tratara con indulgencia y que no impidiera a ninguno de los suyos hacerle algún servicio. | ordering the centurion to keep him, and that he should have freedom, and to hinder none of his friends to minister to him. | Y mandó al centurión que se custodiase a Pablo, pero que se le concediese alguna libertad, y que no impidiese a ninguno de los suyos servirle o venir a él. |

| 25 | And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee. | Et comme il discourait sur la justice et sur la tempérance et sur le jugement à venir, Félix tout effrayé répondit : Pour le présent va-t'en ; quand je trouverai un moment convenable, je te ferai appeler, | Al disertar Pablo en lo concerniente a la justicia, el dominio propio y el juicio venidero, Félix, aterrado, respondió: Por ahora vete; cuando tenga un momento oportuno, te enviaré a llamar. | And as he reasoned concerning righteousness, and temperance, and the judgment about to come, Felix, being filled with fear, answered, Go for the present, and when I get an opportunity I will send for thee; | Pero al disertar Pablo acerca de la justicia, del dominio propio y del juicio venidero, Félix se espantó, y dijo: Ahora vete; pero cuando tenga oportunidad te llamaré. |
| 26 | He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him. | — espérant en même temps que Paul lui donnerait quelque argent ; c'est pourquoi aussi il le faisait venir souvent et s'entretenait avec lui. | También esperaba que Pablo le diese dinero; por eso lo llamaba con frecuencia y conversaba con él. | hoping at the same time that money would be given him by Paul: wherefore also he sent for him the oftener and communed with him. | Esperaba también con esto, que Pablo le diera dinero para que le soltase; por lo cual muchas veces lo hacía venir y hablaba con él. |
| 27 | But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound. | Or, quand deux ans furent accomplis, Félix eut pour successeur Porcius Festus ; et, voulant gagner la faveur des Juifs, Félix laissa Paul prisonnier. | Al cabo de dos años, Félix tuvo por sucesor a Porcio Festo; y queriendo ganarse el favor de los judíos, Félix dejó prisionero a Pablo. | But when two years were completed, Felix was relieved by Porcius Festus as his successor; and Felix, desirous to oblige the Jews, to acquire their favour, left Paul bound. | Pero al cabo de dos años recibió Félix por sucesor a Porcio Festo; y queriendo Félix congraciarse con los judíos, dejó preso a Pablo. |
