And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, |

And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. |

And getting into one of the ships, which was Simon's, he asked him to draw out a little from the land; and he sat down and taught the crowds out of the ship. |

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. |

But when he ceased speaking, he said to Simon, Draw out into the deep water and let down your nets for a haul. |

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. |

And Simon answering said to him, Master, having laboured through the whole night we have taken nothing, but at thy word I will let down the net. |

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. |

And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. |
Et ils firent signe à leurs compagnons qui étaient dans l'autre nacelle de venir les aider ; et ils vinrent et remplirent les deux nacelles, de sorte qu'elles enfonçaient. |

And they beckoned to their partners who were in the other ship to come and help them, and they came, and filled both the ships, so that they were sinking. |

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. |
Et Simon Pierre, ayant vu cela, se jeta aux genoux de Jésus, disant : Seigneur, retire-toi de moi, car je suis un homme pécheur. |
Al ver esto Simón Pedro, cayó de rodillas ante Jesús, y dijo: ¡Apártate de mí, Señor, porque soy hombre pecador! |
But Simon Peter, seeing it, fell at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord. |

For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: |
Car la frayeur l'avait saisi, lui et tous ceux qui étaient avec lui, à cause de la prise de poissons qu'ils venaient de faire ; |

For astonishment had laid hold on him, and on all those who were with him, at the haul of fishes which they had taken; |

And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. |

and in like manner also on James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Fear not; henceforth thou shalt be catching men. |
y asimismo de Jacobo y Juan, hijos de Zebedeo, que eran compañeros de Simón. Pero Jesús dijo a Simón: No temas; desde ahora serás pescador de hombres. |

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him. |

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. |
Et il arriva, comme il était dans une des villes, que voici un homme plein de lèpre ; et voyant Jésus, il se jeta sur sa face et le supplia, disant : Seigneur, si tu veux, tu peux me rendre net. |
Estando él en una de las ciudades, sucedió que había allí un hombre lleno de lepra; cuando vio a Jesús, cayó rostro en tierra, y le suplicaba: ¡Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme! |
And it came to pass as he was in one of the cities, that behold, there was a man full of leprosy, and seeing Jesus, falling upon his face, he besought him saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou art able to cleanse me. |
Sucedió que estando él en una de las ciudades, se presentó un hombre lleno de lepra, el cual, viendo a Jesús, se postró con el rostro en tierra y le rogó, diciendo: Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme. |

And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. |
Et étendant la main, il le toucha, disant : Je veux, sois net. Et aussitôt la lèpre se retira de lui. |
Extendiendo él la mano, lo tocó, diciendo: Quiero; queda limpio. Y al instante la lepra lo dejó. |
And stretching forth his hand he touched him, saying, I will; be thou cleansed: and immediately the leprosy departed from him. |

And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. |
Et il lui commanda de ne le dire à personne : mais va et montre-toi au sacrificateur, et offre pour ta purification selon ce que Moïse a ordonnéb, pour que cela leur serve de témoignage. |
Y le mandó que no lo dijese a nadie, sino: ve, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu purificación, conforme mandó Moisés, en testimonio para ellos. |
And he enjoined him to tell no one; but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing as Moses ordained, for a testimony to them. |
Y él le mandó que no lo dijese a nadie; sino ve, le dijo, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu purificación, según mandó Moisés,d para testimonio a ellos. |

But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. |
Et sa renommée se répandait de plus en plus ; et de grandes foules s'assemblèrent pour l'entendre et pour être guéries de leurs infirmités ; |

But the report concerning him was spread abroad still more, and great crowds came together to hear, and to be healed from their infirmities. |

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. |

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judæa, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. |
Et il arriva, l'un de ces joursc, qu'il enseignait. Et des pharisiens et des docteurs de la loi, qui étaient venus de chaque bourgade de Galilée, et de Judée, et de Jérusalem, étaient assis [là], et la puissance du ∗Seigneur était [là] pour les guérir. |

And it came to pass on one of the days, that *he* was teaching, and there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, who were come out of every village of Galilee and Judaea and out of Jerusalem; and the Lord's power was there to heal them. |
Aconteció un día, que él estaba enseñando, y estaban sentados los fariseos y doctores de la ley, los cuales habían venido de todas las aldeas de Galilea, de Judea y Jerusalén; y el poder del Señor estaba con él para sanar. |

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. |
Et voici des hommes portant sur un lit un homme qui était paralysé ; et ils cherchaient à l'introduire et à le mettre devant lui. |
Entonces llegaron unos hombres trayendo sobre una camilla a un hombre que estaba paralítico, a quien trataban de introducir y poner delante de él. |
And lo, men bringing upon a couch a man who was paralysed; and they sought to bring him in, and put him before him. |
Y sucedió que unos hombres que traían en un lecho a un hombre que estaba paralítico, procuraban llevarle adentro y ponerle delante de él. |

And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. |
Et ne trouvant pas par quel moyen ils pourraient l'introduire, à cause de la foule, ils montèrent sur le toit et le descendirent par les tuiles, avec son petit lit, au milieu, devant Jésus. |
Al no encontrar la manera de llevarlo dentro a causa de la multitud, subieron a la azotea y, quitando las tejas, lo bajaron con su camilla y lo pusieron en medio, delante de Jesús. |
And not finding what way to bring him in, on account of the crowd, going up on the housetop they let him down through the tiles, with his little couch, into the midst before Jesus. |
Pero no hallando cómo hacerlo a causa de la multitud, subieron encima de la casa, y por el tejado le bajaron con el lecho, poniéndole en medio, delante de Jesús. |

And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. |
Et voyant leur foi, il dit : Homme, tes péchés te sont pardonnés. |

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? |
Et les scribes et les pharisiens se mirent à raisonner, disant : Qui est celui-ci qui profère des blasphèmes ? Qui peut pardonner les péchés, si ce n'est Dieu seul ? |

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? |

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. |
Or, afin que vous sachiez que le fils de l'homme a le pouvoir sur la terre de pardonner les péchés (il dit au paralytique) : Je te dis, lève-toi, et, prenant ton petit lit, va dans ta maison. |

And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. |

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. |

And after these things he went forth and saw a tax-gatherer, Levi by name, sitting at the receipt of taxes, and said to him, Follow me. |

But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? |

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. |

And they said to him, Why do the disciples of John fast often and make supplications, in like manner those also of the Pharisees, but thine eat and drink? |

And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? |
Et il leur dit : Pouvez-vous faire jeûner les fils de la chambre nuptialee pendant que l'époux est avec eux ? |
Jesús les respondió: ¿Podéis acaso hacer ayunar a los amigos del esposo mientras que el esposo está con ellos? |
And he said to them, Can ye make the sons of the bridechamber fast when the bridegroom is with them? |

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days. |

And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. |
Et il leur dit aussi une parabole : Personne ne met un morceau d'un habit neuf à un vieil habit ; autrement il déchirera le neuf, et aussi la pièce [prise] du neuf ne s'accordera pas avec le vieux. |
Les dijo también una parábola: Nadie pone un retal de un vestido nuevo para remendar un vestido viejo; porque entonces no solo romperá el nuevo, sino que tampoco al viejo le quedará bien el retal quitado al nuevo. |
And he spoke also a parable to them: No one puts a piece of a new garment upon an old garment, otherwise he will both rend the new, and the piece which is from the new will not suit with the old. |
Les dijo también una parábola: Nadie corta un pedazo de un vestido nuevo y lo pone en un vestido viejo; pues si lo hace, no solamente rompe el nuevo, sino que el remiendo sacado de él no armoniza con el viejo. |

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. |
Et personne ne met du vin nouveau dans de vieilles outres ; autrement le vin nouveau rompra les outres, et il se répandra, et les outres seront perdues ; |

And no one puts new wine into old skins, otherwise the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; |

But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. |
