Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. |

What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? |
Quel est l'homme d'entre vous, qui, ayant cent brebis et en ayant perdu une, ne laisse les quatre-vingt-dix-neuf au désert, et ne s'en aille après celle qui est perdue, jusqu'à ce qu'il l'ait trouvée ? |

And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. |

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. |
Je vous dis, qu'ainsi il y aura de la joie au ciel pour un seul pécheur qui se repent, plus que pour quatre-vingt-dix-neuf justes qui n'ont pas besoin de repentance. |

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. |

Thus, I say unto you, there is joy before the angels of God for one repenting sinner. |

And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. |

And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. |

And after not many days the younger son gathering all together went away into a country a long way off, and there dissipated his property, living in debauchery. |

And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. |

But when he had spent all there arose a violent famine throughout that country, and he began to be in want. |

And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. |
Et il s'en alla et se joignit à l'un des citoyens de ce pays-là, et celui-ci l'envoya dans ses champs pour paître des pourceaux. |
Entonces se acercó a uno de los ciudadanos de aquel país, quien lo envió a sus campos a apacentar cerdos. |
And he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. |
Y fue y se arrimó a uno de los ciudadanos de aquella tierra, el cual le envió a su hacienda para que apacentase cerdos. |

And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. |
Et il désirait de remplir son ventre des gousses que les pourceaux mangeaient ; et personne ne lui donnait [rien]. |

And he longed to fill his belly with the husks which the swine were eating; and no one gave to him. |

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! |
Et étant revenu à lui-même, il dit : Combien de mercenairesb de mon père ont du pain en abondance, et moi je péris ici de faim ! |

And coming to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have abundance of bread, and *I* perish here by famine. |

I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, |
Je me lèverai et je m'en irai vers mon père, et je lui dirai : Père, j'ai péché contre le ciel et devant toi ; |

And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. |

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. |
Et se levant, il vint vers son père. Et comme il était encore loin, son père le vit et fut ému de compassion, et, courant [à lui], se jeta à son cou et le couvrit de baisers. |

And he rose up and went to his own father. But while he was yet a long way off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell upon his neck, and covered him with kisses. |
Y levantándose, vino a su padre. Y cuando aún estaba lejos, lo vio su padre, y fue movido a misericordia, y corrió, y se echó sobre su cuello, y le besó. |

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. |
Et le fils lui dit : Père, j'ai péché contre le ciel et devant toi ; je ne suis plus digne d'être appelé ton fils. |

And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee; I am no longer worthy to be called thy son. |

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: |

But the father said to his bondmen, Bring out the best robe and clothe him in it , and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; |

Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. |

And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. |

And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. |

Él le respondió: Tu hermano ha venido y tu padre ha hecho matar el becerro cebado, porque lo ha recobrado sano y salvo. |
And he said to him, Thy brother is come, and thy father has killed the fatted calf because he has received him safe and well. |

And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him. |

And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: |
Mais lui, répondant, dit à son père : Voici tant d'années que je te sersd, et jamais je n'ai transgressé ton commandement ; et tu ne m'as jamais donné un chevreau pour faire bonne chère avec mes amis ; |

But he answering said to his father, Behold, so many years I serve thee, and never have I transgressed a commandment of thine; and to me hast thou never given a kid that I might make merry with my friends: |

But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. |
mais quand celui-ci, ton fils, qui a mangé ton bien avec des prostituées, est venu, tu as tué pour lui le veau gras. |

And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. |

It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. |
mais il fallait faire bonne chère et se réjouir ; car celui-ci, ton frère, était mort, et il est revenu à la vie ; il était perdu, et il est retrouvé. |
Convenía alegrarse y regocijarse, porque este hermano tuyo estaba muerto y ha vuelto a vivir; estaba perdido y ha sido hallado. |
But it was right to make merry and rejoice, because this thy brother was dead and has come to life again, and was lost and has been found. |
Mas era necesario hacer fiesta y regocijarnos, porque este tu hermano era muerto, y ha revivido; se había perdido, y es hallado. |
