Moreover the Lord said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Maher–shalal–hash–baz. |

And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah. |
Et je me pris de fidèles témoins pour témoigner, Urie, le sacrificateur, et Zacharie, fils de Jebérékia. |

Y junté conmigo por testigos fieles al sacerdote Urías y a Zacarías hijo de Jeberequías. |

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the Lord to me, Call his name Maher–shalal–hash–baz. |
Et je m'approchai de la prophétesse, et elle conçut, et enfanta un fils ; et l'Éternel me dit : Appelle son nom : Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz ; |

Y me llegué a la profetisa, la cual concibió, y dio a luz un hijo. Y me dijo Jehová: Ponle por nombre Maher-salal-hasbaz. |

For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria. |
car avant que l'enfant sache crier : Mon père, et, Ma mère, on emportera la puissanceb de Damas et le butin de Samarie devant le roi d'Assyrie. |

For before the lad knoweth to cry, My father! and, My mother! the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria. |
Porque antes que el niño sepa decir: Padre mío, y Madre mía, será quitada la riqueza de Damasco y los despojos de Samaria delante del rey de Asiria. |

The Lord spake also unto me again, saying, |

Otra vez volvió Jehová a hablarme, diciendo: |

Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son; |
Parce que ce peuple rejette les eaux de Siloé qui vont doucement, et qu'il trouve son plaisir en Retsin et dans le fils de Remalia ; |

Por cuanto desechó este pueblo las aguas de Siloé, que corren mansamente, y se regocijó con Rezín y con el hijo de Remalías; |

Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks: |
à cause de cela, voici, le Seigneur fait monter sur eux les eaux du fleuve, fortes et grosses, le roi d'Assyrie et toute sa gloire ; et il montera sur tout son lit, et s'en ira par-dessus tous ses bords ; |

therefore behold, the Lord will bring up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, the king of Assyria and all his glory; and he shall mount up over all his channels, and go over all his banks: |
he aquí, por tanto, que el Señor hace subir sobre ellos aguas de ríos, impetuosas y muchas, esto es, al rey de Asiria con todo su poder; el cual subirá sobre todos sus ríos, y pasará sobre todas sus riberas; |

And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel. |
et il traversera Juda, il débordera et passera outre, il atteindra jusqu'au cou ; et le déploiement de ses ailes remplira la largeur de ton pays, ô Emmanuel. |

y pasando hasta Judá, inundará y pasará adelante, y llegará hasta la garganta; y extendiendo sus alas, llenará la anchura de tu tierra, oh Emanuel. |

Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. |
Associez-vousc, peuples, et vous serez brisés ; et prêtez l'oreille, vous tous qui habitez au loin sur la terre ! Ceignez-vous, et vous serez brisés ! Ceignez-vous, et vous serez brisés ! |

Rage, ye peoples, and be broken in pieces! And give ear, all ye distant parts of the earth: Gird yourselves, and be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and be broken in pieces! |
Reuníos, pueblos, y seréis quebrantados; oíd, todos los que sois de lejanas tierras; ceñíos, y seréis quebrantados; disponeos, y seréis quebrantados. |

Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. |

For the Lord spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, |
Car ainsi m'a dit l'Éternel avec main forte, et il m'a averti de ne pas marcher dans le chemin de ce peuple, disant : |

Porque Jehová me dijo de esta manera con mano fuerte, y me enseñó que no caminase por el camino de este pueblo, diciendo: |

Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid. |
Ne dites pas conjuration, de tout ce dont ce peuple dira conjuration, et ne craignez pas leur crainte, et ne soyez pas effrayés ; |

Ye shall not say, Conspiracy, of everything of which this people saith, Conspiracy; and fear ye not their fear, and be not in dread. |
No llaméis conspiración a todas las cosas que este pueblo llama conspiración; ni temáis lo que ellos temen, ni tengáis miedo. |

Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. |
l'Éternel des armées, lui, sanctifiez-le, et que lui soit votre crainte, et lui, votre frayeur ; |

And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. |
et il sera pour sanctuaire, et pour pierre d'achoppement et rocher de trébuchement aux deux maisons d'Israël, pour piège et pour lacet aux habitants de Jérusalem. |

Entonces él será por santuario; pero a las dos casas de Israel, por piedra para tropezar, y por tropezadero para caer, y por lazo y por red al morador de Jerusalén. |

And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. |

And I will wait upon the Lord, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. |

Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. |
Voici, moi et les enfants que l'Éternel m'a donnés, nous sommes pour signes et pour prodiges en Israël de la part de l'Éternel des armées qui demeure en la montagne de Sion. |

Behold, I and the children that Jehovah hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel, from Jehovah of hosts, who dwelleth in mount Zion. |
He aquí, yo y los hijos que me dio Jehováe somos por señales y presagios en Israel, de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos, que mora en el monte de Sion. |

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? |
Et s'ils vous disent : Enquérez-vous des évocateurs d'esprits et des diseurs de bonne aventure, qui murmurent et qui chuchotent,… un peuple ne s'enquiert-il pas de son Dieu ? [ira-t-il] aux morts pour les vivants ? |

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto the necromancers and unto the soothsayers, who chirp and who mutter, say, Shall not a people seek unto their God? Will they go for the living unto the dead? |
Y si os dijeren: Preguntad a los encantadores y a los adivinos, que susurran hablando, responded: ¿No consultará el pueblo a su Dios? ¿Consultará a los muertos por los vivos? |

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. |
À la loi et au témoignage ! S'ils ne parlent pas selon cette parole, il n'y a pas d'aurore pour luif. |

And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward. |
Et il passera là, affligé et ayant faim ; et il arrivera que, lorsqu'il aura faim, il se dépitera, et maudira son roi et son Dieu ; |

And they shall pass through it, hard pressed and hungry; and it shall come to pass when they are hungry, they will fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and will gaze upward: |
Y pasarán por la tierra fatigados y hambrientos, y acontecerá que teniendo hambre, se enojarán y maldecirán a su rey y a su Dios, levantando el rostro en alto. |

And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness. |
et il regardera en haut, et il fixera son regard sur la terre, et voici la détresse et les ténèbres, l'obscurité de l'angoisse ! et il est repoussé dans d'épaisses ténèbres. |

and they will look to the earth; and behold, trouble and darkness, gloom of anguish; and they shall be driven into thick darkness. |
Y mirarán a la tierra, y he aquí tribulación y tinieblas, oscuridad y angustia; y serán sumidos en las tinieblas. |
