And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it. |
☆ Et il arriva, dans les jours d'Achaz, fils de Jotham, fils d'Ozias, roi de Juda, que Retsin, roi de Syriea, et Pékakh, fils de Remalia, roi d'Israël, montèrent à Jérusalem pour lui faire la guerre ; b mais ils ne purent pas l'assiéger. |

And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz, the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, came up to Jerusalem to make war against it, but they were not able to fight against it. |
Aconteció en los días de Acaz hijo de Jotam, hijo de Uzías, rey de Judá, que Rezín rey de Siria y Peka hijo de Remalías, rey de Israel, subieron contra Jerusalén para combatirla; pero no la pudieron tomar.a |

And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind. |
Et on rapporta à la maison de David, disant : La Syrie est venue prêter appui àc Éphraïm. Et son cœur fut agité, et le cœur de son peuple, comme les arbres de la forêt sont agités devant le vent. |

And it was told the house of David saying, Syria is allied with Ephraim. Then his heart and the heart of his people shook, as the trees of the forest are shaken with the wind. |
Y vino la nueva a la casa de David, diciendo: Siria se ha confederado con Efraín. Y se le estremeció el corazón, y el corazón de su pueblo, como se estremecen los árboles del monte a causa del viento. |

Then said the Lord unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shear–jashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field; |
Et l'Éternel dit à Ésaïe : Sors à la rencontre d'Achaz, toi et Shear-Jashubd, ton fils, au bout de l'aqueduc de l'étang supérieur, sur la route du champ du foulon ; |

And Jehovah said to Isaiah, Go out now to meet Ahaz, thou and thy son Shear-jashub, at the end of the aqueduct of the upper pool, on the highway of the fuller's field; |
Entonces dijo Jehová a Isaías: Sal ahora al encuentro de Acaz, tú, y Sear-jasubb tu hijo, al extremo del acueducto del estanque de arriba, en el camino de la heredad del Lavador, |

And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah. |
et tu lui diras : Prends garde et sois tranquille ; ne crains point, et que ton cœur ne défaille pas devant ces deux boutse de tisons fumants, devant l'ardeur de la colère de Retsin et de la Syrie, et du fils de Remalia. |

and thou shalt say unto him, Take heed and be quiet; fear not, and let not thy heart faint before these two ends of smoking firebrands, because of the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah. |
y dile: Guarda, y repósate; no temas, ni se turbe tu corazón a causa de estos dos cabos de tizón que humean, por el ardor de la ira de Rezín y de Siria, y del hijo de Remalías. |

Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying, |
Parce que la Syrie a formé contre toi de mauvais desseins, Éphraïm [aussi] et le fils de Remalia, disant : |

Inasmuch as Syria hath taken evil counsel against thee, Ephraim also and the son of Remaliah, saying, |
Ha acordado maligno consejo contra ti el sirio, con Efraín y con el hijo de Remalías, diciendo: |

Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal: |
Montons contre Juda, et jetons-y l'alarme, et faisons-y pour nous une brèche, et établissons pour roi au milieu d'elle le fils de Tabeël ; |

Let us go up against Judah, and harass it, and make a breach therein for us, and set up a king therein--the son of Tabeal; |
Vamos contra Judá y aterroricémosla, y repartámosla entre nosotros, y pongamos en medio de ella por rey al hijo de Tabeel. |

Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. |
ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Il ne s'accomplira pas et n'aura pas lieu ; |

thus saith the Lord Jehovah: It shall not stand, nor come to pass; |
Por tanto, Jehová el Señor dice así: No subsistirá, ni será. |

For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people. |
car le chef de la Syrie, c'est Damas, et le chef de Damas, c'est Retsin. Et encore soixante-cinq ans, et Éphraïm cesseraf d'être un peuple ; |

for the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within sixty-five years shall Ephraim be broken, so as to be no more a people; |
Porque la cabeza de Siria es Damasco, y la cabeza de Damasco, Rezín; y dentro de sesenta y cinco años Efraín será quebrantado hasta dejar de ser pueblo. |

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established. |
et le chef d'Éphraïm, c'est la Samarie, et le chef de la Samarie, c'est le fils de Remalia. Si vous ne croyez pas, vous ne subsisterez pas. |

and the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye believe not, surely ye shall not be established. |
Y la cabeza de Efraín es Samaria, y la cabeza de Samaria el hijo de Remalías. Si vosotros no creyereis, de cierto no permaneceréis. |

Moreover the Lord spake again unto Ahaz, saying, |
Et l'Éternel parla encore à Achaz, disant : |

And Jehovah spoke again to Ahaz, saying, |
Habló también Jehová a Acaz, diciendo: |

Ask thee a sign of the Lord thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above. |
Demande pour toi un signe de la part de l'Éternel, ton Dieu ; demande-le dans les lieux bas ou dans les hauteurs d'en haut. |

Ask for thee a sign from Jehovah thy God; ask for it in the deep, or in the height above. |
Pide para ti señal de Jehová tu Dios, demandándola ya sea de abajo en lo profundo, o de arriba en lo alto. |

But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord. |
Et Achaz dit : Je ne [le] demanderai pas, et je ne tenterai pas l'Éternel. |

And Ahaz said, I will not ask, and will not tempt Jehovah. |
Y respondió Acaz: No pediré, y no tentaré a Jehová. |

And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also? |
Et il dit : Écoutez donc, maison de David : Est-ce peu de chose pour vous de lasser [la patience] des hommes, que vous lassiez aussi [la patience de] mon Dieu ? |

And he said, Hear then, house of David: Is it a small matter for you to weary men, that ye weary also my God? |
Dijo entonces Isaías: Oíd ahora, casa de David. ¿Os es poco el ser molestos a los hombres, sino que también lo seáis a mi Dios? |

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. |
C'est pourquoi le Seigneur, lui, vous donnera un signe : Voici, la vierge concevra et elle enfantera un fils, et appellera son nom Emmanuelg. |

Therefore will the Lord himself give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a son, and call his name Immanuel. |
Por tanto, el Señor mismo os dará señal: He aquí que la virgen concebirá, y dará a luz un hijo,c y llamará su nombre Emanuel.d |

Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. |
Il mangera du cailléh et du miel, pour savoir rejeter le mal et choisir le bien. |

For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings. |
Car avant que l'enfant sache rejeter le mal et choisir le bien, le pays des deux rois duquel tu as peuri sera abandonné. |

For before the child knoweth to refuse the evil and to choose the good, the land whose two kings thou fearest shall be forsaken. |
Porque antes que el niño sepa desechar lo malo y escoger lo bueno, la tierra de los dos reyes que tú temes será abandonada. |

The Lord shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria. |
L'Éternel fera venir sur toi, et sur ton peuple et sur la maison de ton père, des jours qui ne sont pas venus depuis le jour qu'Éphraïm s'est retiré de Juda, — [savoir] le roi d'Assyrie. |

Jehovah will bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days which have not come since the day when Ephraim turned away from Judah-- even the king of Assyria. |
Jehová hará venir sobre ti, sobre tu pueblo y sobre la casa de tu padre, días cuales nunca vinieron desde el día que Efraín se apartó de Judá, esto es, al rey de Asiria. |

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria. |
Et il arrivera, en ce jour-là, que l'Éternel sifflera la mouche qui est au bout des fleuvesj d'Égypte, et l'abeille qui est dans le pays d'Assyrie ; |

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will hiss for the fly which is at the extremity of the streams of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the land of Assyria; |
Y acontecerá que aquel día silbará Jehová a la mosca que está en el fin de los ríos de Egipto, y a la abeja que está en la tierra de Asiria; |

And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes. |
et elles viendront et se poseront toutes dans les vallées désertes et dans les fentes des rochers, et sur toutes les broussailles, et sur tous les pâturages. |

and they shall come and settle all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and on all thorn-bushes, and on all the pastures. |
y vendrán y acamparán todos en los valles desiertos, y en las cavernas de las piedras, y en todos los zarzales, y en todas las matas. |

In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard. |
En ce jour-là, le Seigneur rasera avec un rasoir pris à louage au delà du fleuve, avec le roi d'Assyrie, la tête et les poils des pieds, et ilk enlèvera aussi la barbe. |

In that day will the Lord, with a razor which is hired beyond the river, with the king of Assyria, shave the head and the hair of the feet, yea, the beard also will it take away. |
En aquel día el Señor raerá con navaja alquilada, con los que habitan al otro lado del río, esto es, con el rey de Asiria, cabeza y pelo de los pies, y aun la barba también quitará. |
| 21 |
And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep; |
Et il arrivera, en ce jour-là, qu'un homme nourrira une jeune vache et deux brebis ; |

And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow and two sheep, |
Acontecerá en aquel tiempo, que criará un hombre una vaca y dos ovejas; |
| 22 |
And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land. |
et il arrivera que, de l'abondance du lait qu'elles donneront, il mangera du caillé ; car tous ceux qui seront de reste au milieu du pays mangeront du caillél et du miel. |

and it shall come to pass, from the abundance of milk they shall give, that he shall eat butter; for every one that remaineth in the midst of the land shall eat butter and honey. |
y a causa de la abundancia de leche que darán, comerá mantequilla; ciertamente mantequilla y miel comerá el que quede en medio de la tierra. |
| 23 |
And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns. |
Et il arrivera, en ce jour-là, que tout lieu où il y avait mille ceps de mille [pièces] d'argent, sera [abandonné] aux ronces et aux épines ; |

And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silver pieces, shall become briars and thorns: |
Acontecerá también en aquel tiempo, que el lugar donde había mil vides que valían mil siclos de plata, será para espinos y cardos. |

With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns. |
on y viendra avec des flèches et avec l'arc, car tout le pays sera ronces et épines. |

with arrows and with the bow shall they come thither, for the whole land shall become briars and thorns. |
Con saetas y arco irán allá, porque toda la tierra será espinos y cardos. |

And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle. |
Et toutes les montagnes qu'on cultivait avec la bêche, — on n'y viendra pas, par crainte des ronces et des épines ; et elles seront un lieu pour y envoyer le bœuf, et pour que les brebis le foulent. |

And all mountains that have been dug up with the hoe--thither will they not come, from fear of briars and thorns; and they shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of small cattle. |
Y a todos los montes que se cavaban con azada, no llegarán allá por el temor de los espinos y de los cardos, sino que serán para pasto de bueyes y para ser hollados de los ganados. |
