Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: |

Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. |

The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them. |

That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: |

Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: |
qui disent aux voyants : Ne voyez pas, et à ceux qui ont des visions : N'ayez pas pour nous des visions de droiture ; dites-nous des choses douces, voyez des tromperies ; |

Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: |
C'est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Saint d'Israël : Parce que vous rejetez cette parole, et que vous vous confiez dans l'oppression et dans la perversité, et que vous vous appuyez dessus, |

Therefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel: Because ye reject this word, and confide in oppression and wilfulness, and depend thereon, |
Por tanto, el Santo de Israel dice así: Porque desechasteis esta palabra, y confiasteis en violencia y en iniquidad, y en ello os habéis apoyado; |

Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. |
à cause de cela cette iniquité vous sera comme une brèche qui s'écroule, un renflement dans un mur élevé, dont la rupture arrive subitement, tout à coup. |

And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit. |
Et il le brisera comme on brise un vase de potier, qu'on casse sans ménagement : et, dans ses fragments, il ne se trouvera pas un tesson pour prendre du feu au foyer ou pour puiser de l'eau à la citerne. |

And he shall break it as the breaking of a potter's vessel, that is broken in pieces unsparingly; and in the pieces of it there shall not be found a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to scoop water out of the cistern. |
Y se quebrará como se quiebra un vaso de alfarero, que sin misericordia lo hacen pedazos; tanto, que entre los pedazos no se halla tiesto para traer fuego del hogar, o para sacar agua del pozo. |

For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. |
Car ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, le Saint d'Israël : C'est en revenant et en vous tenant en repos que vous serez sauvés ; dans la tranquillité et dans la confiance sera votre force. Mais vous ne le voulez pas. |

But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. |
Et vous avez dit : Non, car nous nous enfuirons sur des chevaux ; c'est pourquoi vous vous enfuirez ; et : Nous monterons sur des [chevaux] rapides ; c'est pourquoi ceux qui vous poursuivent seront rapides. |

And ye said, No, but we will flee upon horses, --therefore shall ye flee; and, We will ride upon the swift, --therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. |

One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. |
Un millier [fuira] à la menace d'un seul ; à la menace de cinq, vous fuirez, jusqu'à ce que vous restiez comme une perche au sommet d'une montagne et comme un étendard sur une colline. |

And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. |
Et c'est pourquoi l'Éternel attendra pour user de grâce envers vous, et c'est pourquoi il s'élèvera haut pour avoirh compassion de vous ; car l'Éternel est un Dieu de jugement : bienheureux tous ceux qui s'attendent à lui ! |

And therefore will Jehovah wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he lift himself up, that he may have mercy upon you; for Jehovah is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. |

For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. |
Car le peuple habitera en Sion, dans Jérusalem. Tu ne pleureras plus ; à la voix de ton cri, il usera richement de grâce envers toi ; aussitôt qu'il l'entendra, il te répondra. |

And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: |
Et le Seigneur vous donnera le pain de la détresse et l'eau de l'oppression ; mais ceux qui t'enseignent ne seront plus cachés, mais tes yeux verront ceux qui t'enseignent ; |

And the Lord will give you the bread of adversity, and the water of oppression; yet thy teachers shall not be hidden any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers. |
Bien que os dará el Señor pan de congoja y agua de angustia, con todo, tus maestros nunca más te serán quitados, sino que tus ojos verán a tus maestros. |

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. |
et, que vous alliez à droite ou que vous alliez à gauche, tes oreilles entendront une parole derrière toi, disant : C'est ici le chemin, marchez-y. |

And when ye turn to the right hand or when ye turn to the left, thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it. |
Entonces tus oídos oirán a tus espaldas palabra que diga: Este es el camino, andad por él; y no echéis a la mano derecha, ni tampoco torzáis a la mano izquierda. |

Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence. |
Et vous souillerez le plaqué d'argent de tes images taillées et le revêtementi d'or de tes images de fonte ; tu les jetteras loin comme un linge impur : Dehors ! lui diras-tu. |

And ye shall defile the silver covering of your graven images, and the gold overlaying of your molten images; thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth: Out! shalt thou say unto it. |
Entonces profanarás la cubierta de tus esculturas de plata, y la vestidura de tus imágenes fundidas de oro; las apartarás como trapo asqueroso; ¡Sal fuera! les dirás. |

Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures. |
Et il donnera la pluie àj ta semence dont tu ensemenceras le sol, et le pain, produit du sol ; et il sera riche et nourrissantk. Ton bétail paîtra en ce jour-là dans de vastes pâturages, |

And he will give the rain of thy seed with which thou shalt sow the ground; and bread, the produce of the ground, and it shall be fat and rich. In that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures; |
Entonces dará el Señor lluvia a tu sementera, cuando siembres la tierra, y dará pan del fruto de la tierra, y será abundante y pingüe; tus ganados en aquel tiempo serán apacentados en espaciosas dehesas. |

The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan. |
et les bœufs et les ânes qui labourent le sol mangeront du fourrage salé qu'on a vanné avec la pelle et avec le van. |

Tus bueyes y tus asnos que labran la tierra comerán grano limpio, aventado con pala y criba. |

And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. |
Et, sur toute haute montagne et sur toute colline élevée, il y aura des ruisseaux, des courants d'eau, au jour du grand carnage, quand les tours s'écrouleront. |

And there shall be upon every high mountain and upon every hill that is lifted up, brooks and water-courses, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. |
Y sobre todo monte alto, y sobre todo collado elevado, habrá ríos y corrientes de aguas el día de la gran matanza, cuando caerán las torres. |

Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. |
Et la lumière de la lune sera comme la lumière du soleil, et la lumière du soleil sera septuple, comme la lumière de sept jours, au jour que l'Éternel bandera la brisure de son peuple et guérira la blessure de ses plaies. |

And the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that Jehovah bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the wound of their stroke. |
Y la luz de la luna será como la luz del sol, y la luz del sol siete veces mayor, como la luz de siete días, el día que vendare Jehová la herida de su pueblo, y curare la llaga que él causó. |

Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire: |
Voici, le nom de l'Éternel vient de loin, brûlant de sa colère, un incendie véhément ; ses lèvres sont pleines d'indignation, et sa langue est comme un feu qui dévore, |

Behold, the name of Jehovah cometh from far, burning with his anger--a grievous conflagration; his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a consuming fire; |
He aquí que el nombre de Jehová viene de lejos; su rostro encendido, y con llamas de fuego devorador; sus labios llenos de ira, y su lengua como fuego que consume. |

And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err. |
et son haleine comme un torrent qui déborde, qui atteint jusqu'au cou, pour cribler les nations au crible de la vanité et [pour mettre] aux mâchoires des peuples un frein qui fait errer. |

and his breath as an overflowing torrent, which reacheth even to the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction, and to put a bridle into the jaws of the peoples, that causeth them to go astray. |
Su aliento, cual torrente que inunda; llegará hasta el cuello, para zarandear a las naciones con criba de destrucción; y el freno estará en las quijadas de los pueblos, haciéndoles errar. |

Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the Lord, to the mighty One of Israel. |
Il y aura pour vous un chant comme dans la nuit où l'on sanctifie une fête, et une joie de cœur comme a celui qui va avec une flûte pour se rendre à la montagne de l'Éternel, vers le rocher d'Israël. |

Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a feast is sanctified; and joy of heart, as of one who goeth with a pipe to come unto the mountain of Jehovah, to the Rock of Israel. |
Vosotros tendréis cántico como de noche en que se celebra pascua, y alegría de corazón, como el que va con flauta para venir al monte de Jehová, al Fuerte de Israel. |

And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones. |
Et l'Éternel fera entendre la majesté de sa voix, et montrera le poidsl de son bras, avec indignation de colère et flamme de feu dévorant, trombe d'eau, et tempête, et pierres de grêle. |

And Jehovah will cause the majesty of his voice to be heard, and will shew the lighting down of his arm with indignation of anger, and a flame of consuming fire, with waterflood and storm and hailstones. |
Y Jehová hará oír su potente voz, y hará ver el descenso de su brazo, con furor de rostro y llama de fuego consumidor, con torbellino, tempestad y piedra de granizo. |

For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. |
Car, par la voix de l'Éternel, Assur sera renversé ; il le frappera de sa vergem ; |

For through the voice of Jehovah shall the Assyrian be broken down: he will smite him with the rod. |
Porque Asiria que hirió con vara, con la voz de Jehová será quebrantada. |

And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the Lord shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it. |
et partout où passera le bâton ordonné que l'Éternel appesantira sur lui, ce sera avec des tambourins et des harpes ; et par des batailles tumultueuses il lui fera la guerre. |

And wherever shall pass the appointed staff, which Jehovah shall lay upon him, it shall be with tambours and harps; and with tumultuous battles will he fight with it. |
Y cada golpe de la vara justiciera que asiente Jehová sobre él, será con panderos y con arpas; y en batalla tumultuosa peleará contra ellos. |

For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it. |
Car Tophethn est préparé depuis longtemps : pour le roi aussi il est préparé. Il l'a fait profond et large ; son bûcher est du feu et beaucoup de bois : le souffle de l'Éternel, comme un torrent de soufre, l'allume. |

For Topheth is prepared of old; for the king also it is prepared: he hath made it deep and large; its pile is fire and much wood; the breath of Jehovah, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it. |
Porque Tofet ya de tiempo está dispuesto y preparado para el rey, profundo y ancho, cuya pira es de fuego, y mucha leña; el soplo de Jehová, como torrente de azufre, lo enciende. |
