Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! |

Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. |
Voici, le Seigneur a un [instrument] fort et puissant, comme un orage de grêle, un tourbillon de destruction : comme un orage de puissantes eaux qui débordent, il renversera par terre avec forcea. |

Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, as a storm of hail and a destroying tempest; as a storm of mighty waters overflowing, shall he cast down to the earth with might. |
He aquí, Jehová tiene uno que es fuerte y poderoso; como turbión de granizo y como torbellino trastornador, como ímpetu de recias aguas que inundan, con fuerza derriba a tierra. |

The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet: |
La couronne d'orgueil des ivrognes d'Éphraïm sera foulée aux pieds, |

Con los pies será pisoteada la corona de soberbia de los ebrios de Efraín. |

And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up. |
et la fleur flétrie de son bel ornement qui est sur le sommet de la riche vallée sera comme un fruit précoce avant l'été : dès que celui qui l'aperçoit l'a vu, à peine il est dans sa main, il l'avale. |

and the fading flower of his glorious adornment which is on the head of the fat valley shall be like an early fig before the summer: as soon as he that seeth it perceiveth it, scarcely is it in his hand, he swalloweth it down. |
Y será la flor caduca de la hermosura de su gloria que está sobre la cabeza del valle fértil, como la fruta temprana, la primera del verano, la cual, apenas la ve el que la mira, se la traga tan luego como la tiene a mano. |

In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, |
En ce jour-là l'Éternel des armées sera pour couronne de beauté et pour diadème d'ornement au résidu de son peuple, |

And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. |
et pour esprit de jugement à celui qui est assis pour juger, et pour force à ceux qui refoulent la guerre jusqu'à la porte. |

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. |
Mais ceux-ci aussi ont erré par le vin et se sont égarés par la boisson forte. Le sacrificateur et le prophète ont erré par la boisson forte, ils sont dévorés par le vin, ils se sont égarés par la boisson forte ; ils ont erré dans [leur] vision, ils ont bronché dans le jugement. |

But these also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are they gone astray. The priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink; they are overpowered by wine, they are gone astray through strong drink; they have erred in vision, they have stumbled in judgment. |
Pero también estos erraron con el vino, y con sidra se entontecieron; el sacerdote y el profeta erraron con sidra, fueron trastornados por el vino; se aturdieron con la sidra, erraron en la visión, tropezaron en el juicio. |

For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. |
Car toutes les tables sont pleines de sales vomissements, de sorte qu'il n'y a plus de place. |

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. |
À qui enseignera-t-il la connaissance ? et à qui fera-t-il comprendre ce qui est annoncé ? À ceux qui sont sevrés du lait, arrachés aux mamelles. |

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand the report? Them that are weaned from the milk, withdrawn from the breasts? |
¿A quién se enseñará ciencia, o a quién se hará entender doctrina? ¿A los destetados?, ¿a los arrancados de los pechos? |

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: |

Car par des lèvres bégayantes et par une langue étrangère il parlera à ce peuple, |

porque en lengua de tartamudos, y en extraña lengua hablará a este pueblo, |

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. |
auquel il avait dit : C'est ici le repos, faites reposer celui qui est las ; et c'est ici ce qui rafraîchit. Mais ils n'ont pas voulu entendre. |

But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. |
Et la parole de l'Éternel leur a été commandement sur commandement, commandement sur commandement ; ligne sur ligne, ligne sur ligne ; ici un peu, là un peu ; afin qu'ils marchent, et qu'ils tombent en arrière, et qu'ils soient brisés, et enlacés, et pris. |

La palabra, pues, de Jehová les será mandamiento tras mandamiento, mandato sobre mandato, renglón tras renglón, línea sobre línea, un poquito allí, otro poquito allá; hasta que vayan y caigan de espaldas, y sean quebrantados, enlazados y presos. |

Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. |
C'est pourquoi, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, hommes moqueurs, qui gouvernez ce peuple qui est à Jérusalem. |

Por tanto, varones burladores que gobernáis a este pueblo que está en Jerusalén, oíd la palabra de Jehová. |

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: |
Car vous avez dit : Nous avons fait une alliance avec la mort, et nous avons fait un pacte avec le shéol : si le fléau qui inondeb passe, il n'arrivera pas jusqu'à nous ; car nous avons fait du mensonge notre abri, et nous nous sommes cachés sous la fausseté. |

For ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol have we made an agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us; for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves. |
Por cuanto habéis dicho: Pacto tenemos hecho con la muerte, e hicimos convenio con el Seol; cuando pase el turbión del azote, no llegará a nosotros, porque hemos puesto nuestro refugio en la mentira, y en la falsedad nos esconderemos; |

Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. |
C'est pourquoi ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, je pose comme fondement, en Sion, une pierre, une pierre éprouvée, une précieuse [pierre] de coin, un sûr fondementc : celui qui se fie [à elle] ne se hâtera pasd. |

Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I lay for foundation in Zion a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a sure foundation: he that trusteth shall not make haste. |
por tanto, Jehová el Señor dice así: He aquí que yo he puesto en Sion por fundamento una piedra, piedra probada, angular, preciosa, de cimiento estable; el que creyere, no se apresure.b |

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. |
Et j'ai mis le jugement pour cordeau, et la justice pour plomb, et la grêle balayera l'abri de mensonge, et les eaux inonderont la retraite cachée ; |

And I will appoint judgment for a line, and righteousness for a plummet; and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding-place. |
Y ajustaré el juicio a cordel, y a nivel la justicia; y granizo barrerá el refugio de la mentira, y aguas arrollarán el escondrijo. |

And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. |
et votre alliance avec la mort sera abolie, et votre pacte avec le shéol ne subsistera pas. Lorsque le fléau qui inondeb passera, vous serez foulés par lui ; |

And your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, ye shall be trodden down by it. |
Y será anulado vuestro pacto con la muerte, y vuestro convenio con el Seol no será firme; cuando pase el turbión del azote, seréis de él pisoteados. |

From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report. |
dès qu'il passera, il vous prendra ; car matin après matin il passera, de jour et de nuit, et ce ne sera qu'effroi d'en entendree la rumeur ; |

As it passeth through it shall take you; for morning by morning shall it pass through, by day and by night; and it shall be terror only to understand the report. |
Luego que comience a pasar, él os arrebatará; porque de mañana en mañana pasará, de día y de noche; y será ciertamente espanto el entender lo oído. |

For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it. |
car le lit est trop court pour qu'on s'y allonge, et la couverture trop étroite quand on s'en enveloppe. |

For the bed is too short to stretch oneself on, and the covering too narrow when he would wrap himself in it. |
La cama será corta para poder estirarse, y la manta estrecha para poder envolverse. |

For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act. |
Car l'Éternel se lèvera comme en la montagne de Peratsim, il sera ému de colère comme dans la vallée de Gabaon, pour faire son œuvre, son œuvre étrange, et pour accomplir son travail, son travail inaccoutumé. |

For Jehovah will rise up as on mount Perazim, he will be moved with anger as in the valley of Gibeon; that he may do his work, his strange work, and perform his act, his unwonted act. |
Porque Jehová se levantará como en el monte Perazim,c como en el valle de Gabaónd se enojará; para hacer su obra, su extraña obra, y para hacer su operación, su extraña operación. |

Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth. |
Et maintenant ne soyez pas des moqueurs, de peur que vos liens ne soient renforcés ; car j'ai entendu du Seigneur, l'Éternel des armées, [qu'il y a] une consomption, et une [consomption] décrétée, sur toute la terref. |

Now therefore be ye not scorners, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard from the Lord Jehovah of hosts a consumption, and one determined, upon the whole land. |
Ahora, pues, no os burléis, para que no se aprieten más vuestras ataduras; porque destrucción ya determinada sobre toda la tierra he oído del Señor, Jehová de los ejércitos. |

Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech. |
Prêtez l'oreille, et écoutez ma voix ; soyez attentifs, et écoutez ma parole. |

Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground? |
Le laboureur laboure-t-il tout le jour pour semer ? ouvre-t-il et herse-t-il [tout le jour] son terrain ? |

Doth the ploughman plough all day to sow? Is he all day opening and breaking the clods of his land? |
El que ara para sembrar, ¿arará todo el día? ¿Romperá y quebrará los terrones de la tierra? |

When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place? |
N'est-ce pas que, lorsqu'il en a aplani la surface, il répand l'aneth, et sème le cumin, et met le froment par rangéesg, et l'orge au lieu désigné, et l'épeautre dans ses limites ? |

Doth he not, when he hath levelled the face thereof, cast abroad dill, and scatter cummin, and set the wheat in rows, and the barley in an appointed place, and the rye in its border? |
Cuando ha igualado su superficie, ¿no derrama el eneldo, siembra el comino, pone el trigo en hileras, y la cebada en el lugar señalado, y la avena en su borde apropiado? |

For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him. |
Son Dieu le dirige dans [son] jugement ; il l'instruit. |

Porque su Dios le instruye, y le enseña lo recto; |

For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod. |
Car il ne foule pas l'aneth avec un traîneau à tranchants et ne fait pas tourner la roue du chariot sur le cumin ; car on bat l'aneth avec un bâton et le cumin avec une verge : |

For the dill is not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart-wheel turned about upon the cummin; but dill is beaten out with a staff, and cummin with a rod. |
que el eneldo no se trilla con trillo, ni sobre el comino se pasa rueda de carreta; sino que con un palo se sacude el eneldo, y el comino con una vara. |

Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen. |
il broie le blé pour le pain, parce qu'il ne veut pas le battre toujours ; il ne le broie pas en chassant par-dessus la roue de son chariot et ses chevaux. |

Bread corn is crushed, because he will not ever be threshing it; and if he drove the wheels of his cart and his horses over it , he would not crush it. |
El grano se trilla; pero no lo trillará para siempre, ni lo comprime con la rueda de su carreta, ni lo quebranta con los dientes de su trillo. |

This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. |
Cela aussi vient de l'Éternel des armées : il se montre merveilleux en conseil et grand en sagesse. |

También esto salió de Jehová de los ejércitos, para hacer maravilloso el consejo y engrandecer la sabiduría. |
