And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying, |

Habló Jehová a Moisés en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán frente a Jericó, diciendo: |

Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them. |
Commande aux fils d'Israël que, de l'héritage de leur possession, ils donnent aux Lévites des villes pour y habiter. Vous donnerez aussi aux Lévites les banlieues de ces villes, autour d'elles. |

Command the children of Israel, that of the inheritance of their possession they give unto the Levites cities to dwell in; and a suburb for the cities round about them shall ye give unto the Levites. |
Manda a los hijos de Israel que den a los levitas, de la posesión de su heredad, ciudades en que habiten; también daréis a los levitas los ejidos de esas ciudades alrededor de ellas. |

And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts. |
Et ils auront les villes pour y habiter, et leurs banlieues seront pour leur bétail et pour leurs biens et pour tous leurs animaux. |

And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about. |
Et les banlieues des villes que vous donnerez aux Lévites seront de mille coudées à l'entour, depuis la muraille de la ville en dehors. |

And the suburbs of the cities that ye shall give unto the Levites shall be from the walls of the city outward, a thousand cubits round about. |
Y los ejidos de las ciudades que daréis a los levitas serán mil codos alrededor, desde el muro de la ciudad para afuera. |

And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities. |
Et vous mesurerez, en dehors de la ville, le côté de l'orient, deux mille coudées, et le côté du midi, deux mille coudées, et le côté de l'occident, deux mille coudées, et le côté du nord, deux mille coudées ; et la ville sera au milieu : ce seront là les banlieues de leurs villes. |

And ye shall measure, without the city, the east side two thousand cubits, and the south side two thousand cubits, and the west side two thousand cubits, and the north side two thousand cubits, and the city shall be in the midst: they shall have this as suburbs of the cities. |
Luego mediréis fuera de la ciudad al lado del oriente dos mil codos, al lado del sur dos mil codos, al lado del occidente dos mil codos, y al lado del norte dos mil codos, y la ciudad estará en medio; esto tendrán por los ejidos de las ciudades. |

And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. |
Et [parmi] les villes que vous donnerez aux Lévites, seront les six villes de refuge, que vous donnerez pour que l'homicidea s'y enfuie ; et outre celles-là, vous donnerez quarante-deux villes. |

And among the cities that ye shall give unto the Levites shall be the six cities of refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither, --and besides them ye shall give forty-two cities: |
Y de las ciudades que daréis a los levitas, seis ciudades serán de refugio, las cuales daréis para que el homicida se refugie allá; y además de estas daréis cuarenta y dos ciudades. |

So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs. |
Toutes les villes que vous donnerez aux Lévites seront quarante-huit villes, elles et leurs banlieues. |

And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have few ye shall give few: every one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth. |
Et quant aux villes que vous donnerez sur la possession des fils d'Israël, de ceux qui en auront beaucoup vous en prendrez beaucoup, et de ceux qui en auront peu vous en prendrez peu : chacun donnera de ses villes aux Lévites, à proportion de l'héritage qu'il aura reçu en partage. |

And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have much ye shall take much, and from them that have little ye shall take little; each one according to his inheritance which he will inherit shall give of his cities to the Levites. |
Y en cuanto a las ciudades que diereis de la heredad de los hijos de Israel, del que tiene mucho tomaréis mucho, y del que tiene poco tomaréis poco; cada uno dará de sus ciudades a los levitas según la posesión que heredará.a |

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan; |
Parle aux fils d'Israël, et dis-leur : Quand vous aurez passé le Jourdain [et que vous serez entrés] dans le pays de Canaan, |

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, |
Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando hayáis pasado al otro lado del Jordán a la tierra de Canaán, |

Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares. |
alors vous vous désignerez des villes ; elles seront pour vous des villes de refuge, et l'homicide qui, par mégardeb, aura frappé à mort quelqu'un, s'y enfuira. |

then ye shall appoint for yourselves cities: cities of refuge shall they be for you; that a manslayer may flee thither, who without intent smiteth a person mortally. |
os señalaréis ciudades, ciudades de refugiob tendréis, donde huya el homicida que hiriere a alguno de muerte sin intención. |

And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment. |
Et ce seront pour vous des villes de refuge de devant le vengeur, afin que l'homicide ne meure point qu'il n'ait comparu en jugement devant l'assemblée. |

Y os serán aquellas ciudades para refugiarse del vengador, y no morirá el homicida hasta que entre en juicio delante de la congregación. |

And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge. |
Et les villes que vous donnerez seront pour vous six villes de refuge ; |

De las ciudades, pues, que daréis, tendréis seis ciudades de refugio. |
| 14 |
Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge. |
vous donnerez trois de ces villes en deçà du Jourdain, et vous donnerez trois de ces villes dans le pays de Canaan : ce seront des villes de refuge. |

These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither. |
Ces six villes serviront de refuge aux fils d'Israël, et à l'étranger, et à celui qui séjourne parmi eux, afin que quiconque aura, par mégarde, frappé à mort une personne, s'y enfuie. |

For the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them shall these six cities be a refuge, that one who smiteth a person mortally without intent may flee thither. |
Estas seis ciudades serán de refugio para los hijos de Israel, y para el extranjero y el que more entre ellos, para que huya allá cualquiera que hiriere de muerte a otro sin intención. |

And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. |
— Et s'il l'a frappée avec un instrument de fer, et qu'elle meure, il est meurtrierc : le meurtrier sera certainement mis à mort. |

Si con instrumento de hierro lo hiriere y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá. |

And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. |
Et s'il l'a frappée avec une pierre qu'il tenait à la main, [et] dont on puisse mourir, et qu'elle meure, il est meurtrier : le meurtrier sera certainement mis à mort. |

And if he have smitten him with a stone from the hand, wherewith one may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall certainly be put to death. |
Y si con piedra en la mano, que pueda dar muerte, lo hiriere y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá. |

Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. |
Ou s'il l'a frappée avec un instrument de bois qu'il tenait à la main, [et] dont on puisse mourir, et qu'elle meure, il est meurtrier : le meurtrier sera certainement mis à mort : |

Or if he have smitten him with an instrument of wood, in the hand, wherewith one may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall certainly be put to death; |
Y si con instrumento de palo en la mano, que pueda dar muerte, lo hiriere y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá. |
| 19 |
The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him. |
le vengeur du sang mettra à mort le meurtrier ; quand il le rencontrera, c'est lui qui le mettra à mort. |

the avenger of blood, he shall put the murderer to death; when he meeteth him, he shall put him to death. |
El vengador de la sangre, él dará muerte al homicida; cuando lo encontrare, él lo matará. |
| 20 |
But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die; |
Et s'il l'a poussée par haine, ou s'il a jeté [quelque chose] sur elle avec préméditation, et qu'elle meure ; |

And if he thrust at him out of hatred, or hurl at him intentionally, so that he die, |
Y si por odio lo empujó, o echó sobre él alguna cosa por asechanzas, y muere; |
| 21 |
Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him. |
ou qu'il l'ait frappée de la main par inimitié, et qu'elle meure, celui qui l'a frappée sera certainement mis à mort : il est meurtrier ; le vengeur du sang mettra à mort le meurtrier quand il le rencontrera. |

or from enmity smite him with his hand, so that he die, he that smote him shall certainly be put to death; he is a murderer: the avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death, when he meeteth him. -- |
o por enemistad lo hirió con su mano, y murió, el heridor morirá; es homicida; el vengador de la sangre matará al homicida cuando lo encontrare. |
| 22 |
But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait, |
— Mais s'il l'a poussée subitement, sans inimitié, ou s'il a jeté sur elle un objet quelconque, sans préméditation, |

But if he have thrust at him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him anything unintentionally, |
Mas si casualmente lo empujó sin enemistades, o echó sobre él cualquier instrumento sin asechanzas, |
| 23 |
Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm: |
ou si, n'étant pas son ennemi et ne cherchant pas son mal, il fait tomber sur elle, ne la voyant pas, quelque pierre qui puisse la faire mourir, et qu'elle meure, |
|
or have smitten him with any stone wherewith one may die, without seeing him, and have cast it upon him so that he die, and he was not his enemy, neither sought his harm: |
o bien, sin verlo hizo caer sobre él alguna piedra que pudo matarlo, y muriere, y él no era su enemigo, ni procuraba su mal; |
| 24 |
Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments: |
alors l'assemblée jugera entre celui qui a frappé et le vengeur du sang, selon ces ordonnancesd ; |

then the assembly shall judge between the smiter and the avenger of blood according to these judgments; |
entonces la congregación juzgará entre el que causó la muerte y el vengador de la sangre conforme a estas leyes; |
| 25 |
And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil. |
et l'assemblée délivrera l'homicide de la main du vengeur du sang, et l'assemblée le fera retourner dans la ville de son refuge où il s'était enfui ; et il y demeurera jusqu'à la mort du grand sacrificateur qu'on a oint de l'huile sainte. |

and the assembly shall rescue the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the assembly shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he had fled; and he shall abide in it until the death of the high-priest, who was anointed with the holy oil. |
y la congregación librará al homicida de mano del vengador de la sangre, y la congregación lo hará volver a su ciudad de refugio, en la cual se había refugiado; y morará en ella hasta que muera el sumo sacerdote, el cual fue ungido con el aceite santo. |
| 26 |
But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled; |
Mais si l'homicide vient à sortir des limites de la ville de son refuge, où il s'est enfui, |

But if the manslayer shall in any way come outside the limits of the city of his refuge whither he hath fled, |
Mas si el homicida saliere fuera de los límites de su ciudad de refugio, en la cual se refugió, |
| 27 |
And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood: |
et que le vengeur du sang le trouve en dehors des limites de la ville de son refuge, et que le vengeur du sang tue l'homicide, le sang ne sera pas sur lui ; |
|
and the avenger of blood find him outside the limits of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kill the manslayer, there shall be no blood-guiltiness upon him; |
y el vengador de la sangre le hallare fuera del límite de la ciudad de su refugio, y el vengador de la sangre matare al homicida, no se le culpará por ello; |
| 28 |
Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession. |
car l'homicide doit demeurer dans la ville de son refuge jusqu'à la mort du grand sacrificateur ; et après la mort du grand sacrificateur, il retournera dans la terree de sa possession. |
|
for the manslayer should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high-priest; but after the death of the high-priest he may return into the land of his possession. |
pues en su ciudad de refugio deberá aquel habitar hasta que muera el sumo sacerdote; y después que haya muerto el sumo sacerdote, el homicida volverá a la tierra de su posesión. |

So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings. |
Et ces choses seront pour vous un statut de droitf, en vos générations, partout où vous habiterez. |

And this shall be unto you a statute of right throughout your generations in all your dwellings. |
Estas cosas os serán por ordenanza de derecho por vuestras edades, en todas vuestras habitaciones. |
| 30 |
Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. |
Si quelqu'un frappe à mort une personne, le meurtrier sera tuég sur la paroleh de témoins ; mais un seul témoin ne rendra pas témoignagei contre quelqu'un, pour le faire mourir. |

Whoever shall smite a person mortally, at the mouth of witnesses shall the murderer be put to death; but one witness shall not testify against a person to cause him to die. |
Cualquiera que diere muerte a alguno, por dicho de testigos morirá el homicida; mas un solo testigo no hará fe contra una persona para que muera.c |
| 31 |
Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. |
Et vous ne prendrez point de rançon pour la vie du meurtrier qui est coupable d'avoir tuéj ; mais il sera certainement mis à mort. |

Y no tomaréis precio por la vida del homicida, porque está condenado a muerte; indefectiblemente morirá. |
| 32 |
And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest. |
Et vous ne prendrez point de rançon pour celui qui s'est enfui dans la ville de son refuge, pour qu'il retourne habiter dans le pays, jusqu'à la mort du sacrificateur. |

And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that hath fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest. |
Ni tampoco tomaréis precio del que huyó a su ciudad de refugio, para que vuelva a vivir en su tierra, hasta que muera el sumo sacerdote. |
| 33 |
So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. |
Et vous ne profanerez point le pays où vous êtes, car le sang profane le pays ; et l'expiation du sang ne pourra être faite, pour le pays où il a été versé, que par le sang de celui qui l'a versé. |

And ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are; for blood, it polluteth the land; and there can be no atonement made for the land, for the blood that hath been shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. |
Y no contaminaréis la tierra donde estuviereis; porque esta sangre amancillará la tierra, y la tierra no será expiada de la sangre que fue derramada en ella, sino por la sangre del que la derramó. |

Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the Lord dwell among the children of Israel. |
Et vous ne rendrez pas impur le pays où vous demeurez, au milieu duquel j'habite ; car moi, l'Éternel, j'habite au milieu des fils d'Israël. |

And ye shall not defile the land that ye inhabit, in the midst whereof I dwell; for I am Jehovah who dwell in the midst of the children of Israel. |
No contaminéis, pues, la tierra donde habitáis, en medio de la cual yo habito; porque yo Jehová habito en medio de los hijos de Israel. |
